Have you ever downloaded something onto a school computer?

I have. I installed AIM during Computer class last year (where we do stuff on computers like practice typing, but it's only for 6th grade).

I actually did manage to get some porn on a school computer right before the class change, so that when the teacher finally saw it, the guy who sits at my computer for the next class got the blame. XD

porn is pretty much messed up... i've downloaded azureus (torrenting software) and then torrented several episodes of power rangers and super sentai. i said "other illegal software" because i'm not entirely sure that torrenting is legal. but i think it might be... but then again maybe not... our school computers have lots of security on them, but it's not too hard to get by it.

Nope. If I'm told not to download something onto a computer (which is the case for the computers in the labs here), I won't...not even things like AIM for chatting to my friends (I use AIM Express for that very purpose on a school computer...it's a bit inconvenient, but hey, at least I'm not downloading anything). And actually, I can't even download certain things on the university connection, even on my own computer, since they're blocked somehow.

Speaking of porn...at the last college I went to, before they got new computers in their lab, it looked like someone was successful at looking at porn in there...because oi, one computer was full of really suspicious-looking links in IE and on the desktop...

The computers at my school have some pretty strict administrator settings and content filters, making downloading ANYTHING virtually impossible. We can't even get onto Google for fear of people looking up inappropriate content. The computers in my BASIC Programming class have the internet blocked entirely. In fact, I often find myself blocked from accessing local folders. :confused:

"MATHS AND COMPUTING COLLEGE"
so theyve got filters on most websites.

Tons of things. MSN and AIM are most common though. Often times I'll set an inappropriate picture on the wallpaper because I hate my school. ^_^

lots of stuff. a few mp3s, shockwave, flash, several chapters of "Doctor Slump", "Bleach", and "Dragon Ball". A whole lot of roms (actuall, those came from a CD) and Internet Explorer (hey, it was like, 3 years ago, all we had was NETSCAPE for Pete's sake!). Some eBooks, lots of trailers, and some answers to the benchmark tests. Man, I'm naughty!

Nope. I had to sign an agreement at the beginning of the semester that I couldn't download anything onto school computers. One of my friends downloaded MSN onto one of her school's computers before.

Someone who went to my school looked at porn on school computers all the time. He even got someone's account suspended for life because he looked at porn on their account. He also got suspended like once a week or more. He got into so much trouble he was moved to a different school. XD Everyone hated him and still do. I heard he still looks at porn on school computers.
