has rushed either Red/Blue, Yellow, or Gold/Silver/Crystal to copletion? I've tried with Gold, and the fastest time I have done to beat the Elite Four (generally accepted as "finishing the game") is almost 4 hours, but I'm certain that it can be done in less.

Unofficial records for each game:

Red/Blue: 3 hours, 2 minutes (Squirtle rush)

Yellow: 3 hours, 52 minutes (Nidoking Horn Drill with X Accuracy)

Gold/Silver/Crystal: approximately 4 hours (Cyndaquil rush)

BTW: Red/Blue and Yellow are considered different games because the challanges between each are so different. (different starters, different gyms, etc)

Yikes......4 hours for Gold.........I thought I was rushing it at approximately 10 hours.

On the other hand, I raised about 9 different Pokemon to be tough including the Magmar in my sig. (started with Chikorita)

yeah, I just took Cyndaquil, caught (in order) Pidgey/Hoothoot, Bellsprout, Wooper, and Gyarados, and used ONLY Cyndaquil to battle. Very dangerous, esp if you go right instead of left at Mahogany the first time for the Rocket leveling techniques. I've also refined my technique, and I know that I can rush the Elite 4 in under 3:30, probably 3:15 or 3:10 depending on how many of the "random" Trainer battles I have to fight.

For Red/Blue, people just took Squirtle and ran like hell.

Yellow, the best time posted used Nidoking and X Accuracy to Horn Drill everything in sight.

yeah, that would pretty much do the trick. i hacked some guys, and got through in 4:21, but that was mainly b/c i had a sandslash w/ 99 fissures (and i was really bored, and it wasn't a main file, just a screw up file to see if i could do it - normally i hate cheating to that extent).
