If Totodile is a boy (after knowing it , in the episode in which he is looking for girls) and Chikorita (with voice of Videl from DBZ?!) is a girl (Also in the one episode , in which she wants Ash for herself). So how come he didn't fall in love with her?!

Mwar, have you considered the fact that Pokémon may not mate with other species as much as the games suggest?

But....Totodile fell in love with one Azumarill :| Even that he is a Crocodile , and she is a mutant mouse

Faling in love and having a baby is two different things , there is an atack in G/S/C "Attract" which works on most males , not only for the same species (BTW how come Umbreon a girl may love a Eevee a boy in the pokemon Crystal where they are left in the center with a oldman and a oldwomen?!) .
