Phobias!

What would you say some of your phobias are, if any? Mine are spiders if they somehow crawl on the skin, and creepy clowns *has a flashback of murderous clowns* XD.

Mines are death and and heights like a few years ago. But now mainly death for me.

I have a Phonia of Clowns...they just freek me out and I always assosiate them with deadth for some reason x_x

Needles: I wont let them near me with one unless I am held down, I hate them.

o_o They aren't phobias, since it's not an irrational fear and I can deal with situations involving them, but... I'm afraid of chihuahuas and wasps/bees. XP Chihuahuas are just ugly and scary (their eyes are just... ick) and, well, you can probably guess where the fear of wasps and bees comes from. :\ It's not that bad, though. It was much worse in elementary school but now I don't really care. xD

Anyway, basically I'm afraid of almost everything. At the top of list are butterflies (Hell on Earth!) and birds.

No, a clown didn't want to murder me XD, I just seen movies involving some sort of crazy murderous clown, and after playing a videogame involving one (Twisted Metal: Black), they just overall freak me out, and now all clowns do the same *shudders*.

I'm not deathly afraid of anything really. Bugs and spiders creep me out though. >< After I watched Spider-Man for the first time, I got bitten by a spider right after. o_o; It was freaky. Bugs in general don't bother me much unless they touch me. And I refuse to touch them... I have my dad kill them for me. ><

Something I do fear is failure... I hate to fail at something. Or to be wrong, so I usually keep to myself...

As for myself, I cannot think of any fear I have matching a specific phobia. That is, I am not terribly fond of spiders. But, I would not say that I was particularly afraid of them.

I do, however, have a rather unusual, irrational fear.

Anyhow, there are two things I'm extremely frightened of; Death ~ I don't want anyone I love to go, as simple as that, and being alone ~ I have no idea why I'm so afraid of being alone [by these, I mean everyone I know being permanently gone] but I can't stand losing anyone, same as the first.

That's really all I'm frightened of, as of now at least.

As for clowns, they are scary, but they are a tad cool, too. X3

Um, cockroaches. Definitely. And spiders. Here's a true story: I was at music camp, and I got back to my room after a day of rehearsals, and there was a dead huntsman spider on the floor. So I was really scared of it, even though it was obviously dead. So I threw a piece of paper on top of it, then threw a phone book on it. And then I jumped up and down on the phone book. And I was still scared, so I had to get one of the camp supervisor people to come up to my room and throw it out for me!

Well I have this TERRIBLE fear of spiderwebs. Not the spider but the web itself. Spiders, I'll gladly pick up in my hand and play with. The webs make me scream, shiver, freak out, run, cry and get really nervous. And my nightmares on webs are very scary and traumatizing. The thing is that I'll gladly touch a little dusty strand but if that strand is fresh and new, shining and extremely white and when I poke it with a stick, the stick bounces off, I get nautious and dizzy. I hate August because in my neighborhood all these big spiders come and build these house-sized webs. One time I witnessed a giant spider making a web almost blocking entire access to our street by stretching from the tree branches to the grass. The strands were all white too. I burst into tears and started freaking out while my mom got the rake and took the webs down. I dont know how my mom can be so brave.

You may think it weird, but think about it,...
Porcelain dolls have those eyes that follow you everywhere, you can leave a room, and still feel the eyes following you...
Gnomes are just creepy, so meh...XD

I don't have any serious phobias, but great white sharks do creep me out! I don't like swimming in the ocean for that reason. I usually end up doing it anyway when I'm at the beach, but when I think about it I still don't like the idea. I prefer to swim in water that I can see in... I did read that more people die from deer attacks than shark bites, though, so that's a little comforting, lol.

I'll still say that when I was little, like around two or three years old, I was scared to DEATH of clowns! XD I wasn't too fond of Santa or the Easter Bunny either, but clowns really freaked me out. I even had a funny experience at McDonald's one time when I saw Ronald McDonald there. *shudders*

You're not alone Vincent Valentine. My grandmother had one, I saw it's eyes move and look at me and I freaked out.
I'm also really claustrophobic. It happens more in my dreams though.
