The Hunting thread agian. So what are your thoughts on the sport of animal hunting. Do you think it's fair, right, unfair or whatever. Share your thoughts, agian if you posted in my last thread.

Animal hunting as a sport is unfair and cruel. The animals are dying for somebody's entertainment, they could spare the animal's life and go do something else that entertains them instead. Animals will die and will be killed, it's a rule of nature, they just shouldn't be killed for fun, IMHO.

I have nothing against it if it's not illegal and if they don't just kill the animal and leave its corpse on the ground. They should use it for food and things like that.

I think that as long as your going to eat the animal, it’s okay, a lot of guys in my family go duck hunting, but the ducks are always eaten. As for shooting things just to shoot them, or to hang them on the wall, that’s just cruel, and rather nasty.

Well... in the old old old days where you had to hunt to live, I guess that could be tolerated. Most cultures didn't take excess, and so creatures survived.

Nowadays, that's obsolete. o_0; Fishing is a hunting, and recreation... well, ya could pull a Rex what's-his-name and throw it back after kissing it. XP But... y'know... it all depends on the circumstances.

But overall, I have no approval for it whatsoever. >>; Especially cruel and inhumane ways of hunting. >>

I agree with every word. I just think of it as a sport, it is not really right. Also just killing it for it's fur or something else like that.

I dont like Hunting. I think its wrong to hunt animals. I'm againts it mostly, and I am against anything that hunting stands for. Even if they say its a sport. What kind of sport is allowed to kill an innocent life?

Blood sport or skin hunting, im extremely against -taking something's life for fun is wrong, and the excuse of "controlling the population" shouldn't be used, since nature does that itself..
With food hunting, i prefer that it be a necessity. In more developed countries, such as the UK and US, we already have meat stocks, so shooting wild animals isn't needed >.< i would never eat game..In other countries, like Alaska, where hunting is a must, it's fine ^^

Im very against Hunting, and animal harm of any kind, I do agree that if a Fox is eating a farmers lifestock, then it is respectable if thats the only way they can get rid of them, but its all this "Jolly hocky sticks" going around with these red coats and there horse wip stuck up there... :surprised

Mwar, animals are on this earth to be eaten. Well, most of 'em anyway. I'm not against hunting, as long as it's only huntimg for food. Killing for sport is just… wrong.

i disagree with the concept of hunting for sport. hunting to live is fine, it's just what's done. i don't really eat meat (especially not wild meat) because i think that it's wrong to kill animals with similar mental capacity to that of our pets. if hunting of any sort was outlawed, i think that would be awesome because then people would have less excuse to leave guns around their homes for upset kids to pick up and kill themselves or their peers. i know that an outlaw on guns will not happen because humans are a paranoid species, but i think it would be ideal. i awknowledge that speculating about the ideal is an immature and unproductive thing to do... but whatev.

If you think every animal on this world lives to be eaten, then your wrong, if that was true we should be eaten, the only thing diffrent about Animals and Humans is the way we think, it doesn't mean we should be treated diffrent.
