I nearly lost a good friend of mine today. He went missing last night, but a few minutes before I made htis post, he was found and alive. During the time he was missing, it was very trying. I learned just how close my friends are to me because of this, and I also found faith in God. I'm just happy that he's ok and not dead.

I feel much better knowing he's safe now. When he was missing, I was the most worried I had ever been in my life. I now know how important my friends are to me.

*huggles* I'm very glad he's OK. <3 I don't know what I'd do without my friends...every day I think about them. And I realize that they are some of the biggest reasons I get up and continue life each and every day. For without friends...I'd be nothing.

yeah;in this world or ours we need friends to share both the happy and sad times with. that's part of why people are always seeking the acceptance of others( to have friends to fill the hole in your heart there from being lonely):sean::may:

You know, going through this makes me think. This could happen to someone who could have been a future friend of mine. I now have a respect for those who aren't even my friends yet. If anyone would like to be friends with me, just give me a shout through PMs, or if i'm on, use AIM.

I almost lost my ex-boyfriend (Alex) when he tried to kill himself recently. *sigh* Fortunately he's out of the hospital and ok now but still... Never, ever take them for granted. You never know when you'll lose them. ;_;

I'm so glad he's safe, Rukario Master :) It's terrible when something like that happens - it really makes you think just how much these people mean to you, and how it would be if they were gone...*hugs*

I was suicidal before, and if I did do through with it, I now know how others would have felt. I guess this could be good for me as well.

Friends and family are the most important things in life IMO. I haven't lost any and I'm lucky.

ahh this has happened to me before.they both turned out being in stupid places, but i'll tell the sotries anyway. This is the time to get the popcorn people.
Story #1
Ok about 3 years ago on new year's eve,i was across the street at a party with neighbors etc.Now at one point we were sitting at the table eating ice cream floats, and one of my freinds(he was about...8) went somewhere. Now 30 min later he still wasn't back.We were very worried then,so we went through the house looking for him, when we got close to my one of my other freind's room,we notice a huge tub of cheese balls dumped on the floor,so we pick them up.We didn't find him in the house.Imedietely we went outside to check in the pool(he couldn't swim). He wasn't there.now after an hour of searching in the house, and going around our block asking if someone saw him,we called the police.Once they got there me and my freinds went into another room to pray for him. When we were done we sat on her bed,and hoped he was ok,then at the corner of my eye i see something red,and i think it is my jacket but then i notice i am wearing my jacket so i rush to the corner. It was my freind. He had nocked over the cheeseballs in the hall, and had hidden because he thought he was gonna get in trouble(as i said stupid) even tho i was very happy to see him there,i slapped him as hard as i could accross the facae for scaring me.
if you ran out of popcorn go get some more..i'll give you a little time...

story 2
This happened just last year.We were at my freinds house(different freind)and he had to go to football practice, but didn't want to,so when his mom came to pick him up,he ran from her(we didn't know this). Now it began to rain.Half an hour after he left,we got a call from his mom asking if we knew where he was.We were shocked(this was on another freinds b-day btw).SO we went in his mom's car,and went searching outside all around in pouring rain.Ok I'm sick of typing so I'll get to the point.Eventually he ended up in his closet under a pile of cloths in his closet for 2 hours.Next day i ended up punching him in the gut as hard as i could becuase he had me worried
ok i'm done...thanks for reading.and if you didn't...you lazy bastards....

He's an Internet friend. All my best friends are over the Internet, I even met my GF over the Internet and we've been together for almost a year now.

Aw that's awful :surprised Luckly he's back.
Friends are very important.
I had once that a horse almost died. I nursed him and walked with him till he became better. Luckly he became better. It isn't even my own horse, it is a horse from a school that teaches you to ride a horse (don't know the name). But I was friends with that horse, and if someone is in some kind of situation, it's very awful :(

Animals can become great friends. I once had a dog that I loved very much, and we where great friends, but the evil person who used to be my step dad killed him for no reason. When we buried him, I was too sad to even cry and it still hurts today when I think about my dog, Buddy. I guess I should tell how we found him:
This golden retriver showed up at my grandma's one day, and it was a nice dog. It stayed for a few days, so my mom decided to take him home with us. He happily came along, and when we got to the house, our two other dogs where chasing the cats again, and Buddy came up to the dogs and made them stop chasing the cats. Buddy was a cat lover, just like me. We only had him for about 3 months, but he's the best dog I could have ever had. I still miss him today even it's been 7 years since he's died.
