Ever wanted to do this in Rm2k/3 but could not?

Note: This is an Actual Screen from the Pokemon Fire Red Video Game

Then here is how:

Take this:

1. Put that as an event Under the space where you step on.

2. In the event, make 2 pages, leave the first Blank with no GFX and on the second, put the GFX in and set "Animation Type" to Continuous, Event layer to "Same As Hero's" and set a switch (Whatever you want).

3. Now put an event 1 space above the Arrow, Event Layer: Below Hero, Trigger Condition: On Hero Touch, and the event Commands as Follows:

<>Switch Operation: [XXXX: Whatever Switch you set] ON

4. Now set events in the squares surrounding that event with the same trigger conditions but in the event command, put:

<>Switch Operation: [XXXX: Whatever Switch you set] OFF

There you go, a little tutorial for Newbies and (A slim chance) Experts lol

You say it's RM2k/3 Only, but if someone took the Arrows and made them
RMXP-sized, would the code written still work correctly?

Yeah, it should also work.
