only in RB, they rehacked the code for Yellow to prevent the Mew glitch from being executed.

Yeah, what he said. Mew cannot be caught. You'd have to do the steps taken in Red/Blue to trade over.

Mew will never be catchable in any of the old games at all.The only way is codes ^^.
