How can free will coexist with divine intervention?
WHY?

Becouse if God did intervine yet we were givin free will it creates a paradox. We cannot make our own decisions if god is chooseing how everything will happen ,becouse if he is everywhere and allknowing then he knows what decision we will make and that is NOT free will.
We have 2 possiblitys
1.We are marinets ,god is making are decsions
2.There is no god and we have free will
3.SADM's theory of the universe that I need coffee to explain so I will return in the morning .

one's 15, almost 16 while the other's 12. I haven't met the online guy b4 but we r planning to here soon. and yes we're bf and gf (with the both of the guys and me)

Fourth possibility: God lets us do our thing, but intervenes when either: 1. He has a different ending in mind for the person involved, or 2. His Children pray.


And don't go all 'I'm an Atheist, therefore there is no God' on me, I'm just giving you another possibility. SB

Not always true. There is also predeterminism, and determinism.

And even if there is a God, there is no such thing as free will because God has set parameters to free will, so in essence, it is not truely free.

This is assuming there is a God.

Anyway you idea makes some since as a possibilty but if people pray for someone else, but that person does not whant them to and god interevenes that cannot be free will.

The problem is is that humans dont have the capabilty to understand these questions that exist as we have no true way to proof the existence of any of our ideas.

You should stick with the person you like the most and will care for you the most. You should never cheat on those you love. If you cheat on someone, you should dump them because deep down you don't really love them if you cheat on them. I hope you follow my advice. :chinese:

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but it's common knowledge people aren't always as nice (or even horrible) as they are over the internet. It'll all end in tears.

I'm for internet relationships, because like mine, they can turn into so much more. Also, with internet relationships you can't lose the ones you love due to a move.
