Braces!!!

When I was younger, I was told that I might possibly need braces...

Yes, I had braces for 18 months in 6th and 7th grade. ^^ So that was *counts* about 4 years ago that I got them off. I actually miss them though. *gasp!* At least with them on my teeth were straight. I rarely remember (or want to) wear my retainer so the gap between my front teeth returns every once in a while. ><

I wore braces for about 3 years. I got them off 2 years ago, I think. o.o I have a retainer I'm supposed to wear now, but it doesn't fit anymore because of the wisdom tooth that came in. I've also got like... mini braces on the inner-side of my teeth, so that's probably all that's keeping my teeth from going all crooked again. x_X (Actually, I don't think they were ever crooked; I just had an impacted tooth. :\)

Um, I have braces but only on the top. I just got them tightened and I cant bite on anything. I got blue bands in honor of Clair ^_^ But braces aren't as bad as you think. They're actually cool in a way and no one can punch you in the mouth without getting their skin ripped.

But if by any reason they punch you in your mouth youll get more pain than when you dont wear them
Like if you go to a metal concert and you got your braces, you better be careful with the slams XD

I had braces before. I got them when I was about 8 or so, and they came off not too long ago, maybe about six months. Right now, I have a retainer, a removable one for my upper teeth, and a cemented one on the bottom. :/
I also had to endure the torture of headgear (one was at night, one was just at home. Luckily there's no pictures of it :D), and this weird thing in my mouth that expanded my upper jaw (twice for that too). No kidding.

Ooh, was it the one with the key or without? >< My sister had the kind where you had to turn the key every night, but my mom did it backwards! XD So she had to wear it even longer! I had just a pallet that raised the roof of my mouth up. O_o;

My sister had to wear a chin cup thing to sleep too... but she never really wore it...

I've had braces before. I had them starting in 4th grade until the 7th grade... about 3 years. It was painful when they yanked it in, cause I was still young. When I had them removed, it didn't feel as bad. The thing I hate about braces is when you eat, food gets stuck in-between your teeth. So... when you talk to someone after you eat, chunks of food stick between your teeth. XD

I had braces, though they were recently removed.

Before that, I had an interesting device that cut my tongue with a "u" shape. While I had it and for a considerable amount of time following, I could split my tongue open.

I didn't mind braces, actually. It was the tongue crib that was torture. I couldn't speak, I couldn't eat, my tongue couldn't move. Much fun. <<

I had my braces for two and half years I think? And the tongue crib for like 8 months.

I've had them on for 1.5 years and counting...I hate them to death. You can't eat corn on the cob...

I do anyway, but I have to brush for 30 miuntes afterwards. ;;
