[1337- May '05] Emerald catch all pokemon patch

This is an Emerald patch that allows you to catch every pokemon, similiar to the old 386 R/S patches.

yes, once I figured how it took me about an hour lol

yes, I placed pokemon in a way that seemed logical for example Pidgey, Rattata and Sentret will be placed in the early routes and stuff like that.

But it seems I made a few mistakes, I forgot to include Lapras, Articuno and Kingdra (since you have to trade to get it). The fixed file is included here, so now you can catch every single pokemon.

yeah I don't know how (and i'm not sure tools are aviable for US Emerald already) so I just included all the trade evolutions in places that seemed to make sense.

Does anyone know where you can find slowpoke, omanyte, kabuto, exeggcute, jynx, totodile, politoed, dunsparce, absol, huntail, gorebyss(since you have to trade for them) and latias. I think these are the only pokemon, and their evolutions, that you can't get with this patch.

Have you tried File-Share Programs (LimeWire) that's where I got mine from ,works!!! But just watch out for viruses. Virus scan before you unzip.

your rom is proberbly bodged, it works fine with me, also make sure you are using a US version of the rom.

EDIT: I think IMO that encountering a Steelix in the beginning of the game where the Cubones, Makuhitas, and Machops is a little out of the ordinary. I think you meant Onix.

Zapdos is in New Mauville
Regice is in Shoal Cave
Mewtwo is in Sky Pillar
I saw Ho-Oh somewhere, but I forget. I think it was the Jagged Pass.

Hey, this patch rocks, but i've got a few questions.

I've been trying to catch mudkip. my rival has it, so it's in my pokedex. but when i go to where it is supposed to be (route 123), i can't find it. does anyone know what i should do?

also, where can you find mew, mewtwo, deoxys, celebi, jirachi, bulbasaur, squirtle, charmander, and all the other legendaries?

Bulbasaur, Squirtle & Charmander aren't legendaries ^_^ But they're starters. I can tell you that Cyndaquil is on Fiery Path. Moltres is also here. Electabuzz and Porygon2 are in New Mauville. I'm not sure about Porygon (normal). Celebi is in Jagged Path. Caterpie is SURE in the Petalburg Woods. Butterfree & Beedrill are in the routes near Lilycove and Fortree. Raticates are ultra-common in that routes too. Noctowls are in a small patch of very tall grass near the Weather Institute. That's all for the locations for now. AND, if you spot a legendary, it will be ALWAYS at LV5.
