View Full Version : The Team Flora Club

Okay. Since there is a Team Magma Club and a Team Aqua Club here, I think I'll do a club for one of my two organizations in Hoenn; Team Flora. Team Flora uses mostly Grass Poké¯n with some Poison and Bug Poké¯n. They are out to find a powerful Grass Poké¯n in order to achieve their dream of covering the entire world with forests and plant-life, meaning everything else will be smothered and overrun by shrubbery. If you like this idea for a Team, come join! In fact, if you simply love Grass Poké¯n, come join. Here's some of the things we can do here:
- Talk about Team Flora or Grass Poké¯n
- Spy on both Team Magma and Team Aqua
- Plot to steal the Forest Orb
- Plot to kidnap Grass Trainers like Erika and convert them to Team Flora
- Post card ideas for Team Flora
- Talk about Team Flora's main Poké¯n, Cacnea and Cacturne
Now for the rules:
- No going off topic. Keep within the realm of Team Flora and Grass Poké¯n.
- If you join, please post often. (I'll post often, too.)(This is an important rule.)
Now for The Team Flora Club staff:
Leader/Owner: Sunflorazumarill (myself)
Admin/Co-owner: (1 only)
Executives/"Super Members": Latios Lover
Grunts/Regular Members: Bulbasaur, Salamence64, Alter Ego
Now for some useful tools for Team Flora:
Card set containing Team Flora (http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3341) (link will be removed if not allowed)
Pics of what the Team Flora Grunts and Admins (the ones on top) usually look like (http://img97.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img97&image=teamfloraplasmagrunts6cu.jpg)
Sprites of Team Flora Grunts (http://img18.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img18&image=teamfloragrunts4bp.gif)

An RP involving Team Flora (http://www.pokecommunity.com/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1135587)
Well, now that all is settled, let's get this club started. Please come here so we can start the festivities! Here's to start things off; Cacturne is a powerful Grass/Dark Poké¯n with great Attack and Special attack. It learns the rare move, Needle Arm. It can know some cool moves like Faint Attack, Pin Missile, and Sandstorm. Itself and Cacnea are the only non- Rock/Ground/Steel Poké¯n that benefit from Sandstorm.

Okay. I have decided to try and keep this club going, ONCE AGAIN. Now to get things going again with some more Pokémon cards for Team Flora. The first two are their main Pokémon; Cacnea and Cacturne (like Team Magma's are Numel and Camerupt and Team Aqua's are Carvanha and Sharpedo). The last of these cards happens to have been done by someone else, but I'm going to post it anyway.

{D}{D} Shadow Bind The Defending Pokémon can’t retreat during your opponent’s next turn. 30
{G}{G}{G}{G} Needle Blaster Flip a coin for each of your opponent’s Pokémon other than the Defending Pokémon. (If there are 2 Defending Pokémon, flip a coin for the other Defending Pokémon.) {P} Removal Beam If the Defending Pokémon has any Energy cards attached to it, flip a coin. If heads, choose 1 of those Energy cards and discard it. 10

{G}{G}{G} Ultra MAX Burst Flip a number of coins equal to the total number of Energy cards attached to all Pokémon in play (yours and your opponent’s). This attack does 40 damage times the number of heads and Flora’s Exeggutor does 40 damage times the number of tails to itself. 40x
Flora’s Lileep
Pokémon card

Put Flora’s Lileep on the Basic Pokémon
Weakness: {R}

{G}{C} Sleep Poison The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep and Poisoned.
{G}{G}{C} Giga Drain Remove a number of damage counters from Flora’s Lileep equal to half the damage done to the Defending Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance) (rounded up to the nearest 10). If Flora’s Lileep has fewer damage counters than that, remove all of them. 30

To keep this club going, I've decided to post some card ideas for Team Flora Trainer and Energy cards!
Farlie II
Trainer card
Supporter
You can play only 1 Supporter each turn. Put this card next to your Active Pokémon and discard this card after playing it.
Search your deck for a Pokémon with Flora in its name and put it onto your Bench. Shuffle your deck afterward. Treat the new Benched Pokémon as a Basic Pokémon. If it is a Stage 2 Pokémon, put 2 damage counters on that Pokémon.
Team Flora Ball
Trainer card
Flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for a Pokémon that has Flora in its name, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. If tails, search your deck for a Basic Pokémon that has Flora in its name, show it to your opponent and put into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
Team Flora Belt
Trainer card
Pokémon Tool
Attach Team Flora Belt to 1 of your Pokémon with Flora in its name that doesn't already have a Pokémon Tool attached to it. If that Pokémon is Knocked Out, discard this card.
At any time between turns, if the Pokémon Team Flora Belt is attached to is your Active Pokémon, search your deck for a card that evolves from that Pokémon and put it on that Pokémon. (This counts as evolving that Pokémon.) Shuffle your deck afterward, then discard Team Flora Belt.
Team Flora Conspirator
Trainer card
Supporter
You can play only 1 Supporter each turn. Put this card next to your Active Pokémon and discard this card after playing it.
Search your deck for up to 2 in any combination of Basic Pokémon with Flora in its name and basic Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
Team Flora Hideout
Trainer card
Stadium card
This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play.
In order for a player to attach an Energy card from his or her hand to 1 of his or her Pokémon that does not have Flora in its name, that player must shuffle 1 other card from his or her hand into his or her deck.
Team Flora Schemer
Trainer card
Supporter
You can play only 1 Supporter each turn. Put this card next to your Active Pokémon and discard this card after playing it.
Discard any 1 Pokémon from your hand. Then draw 3 cards. If you discarded a Pokémon with Flora in its name, draw 4 cards instead.
Team Flora Technical Machine 01
Trainer card
Technical Machine
Attach this card to 1 of your Pokémon that has Flora in its name. That Pokémon may use this card's attack instead of its own. At the end of your turn, discard Team Flora Technical Machine 01.
{C} Demotion If the Defending Pokémon is an Evolved Pokémon, remove the highest Stage Evolution card from the Defending Pokémon and put it at the bottom of your opponent’s deck. 10
Flora Energy
Special Energy Card
Flora Energy can be attached only to a Pokémon with Flora in its name. Flora Energy provides {G} and {D} Energy but provides 2 Energy at a time. (Doesn't count as a basic Energy card when not in play and has no effect other than providing Energy.) At the end of your turn, discard Flora Energy.

Sorry if I haven't replied earlier, but I was most likely in bed sleeping. Of course you can join! You're always welcome! Just one thing. You quadrupled posted, which is you made four posts in this topic before anyone else made a new post here. Please don't do it again. (It's against the rules on the entire forum.)

Guess what? I've also thought about if Team Flora replaced Team Magma! The result, I have a list of all the battles with regular Team Flora Grunts from Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Emerald! Anyway, here are the Pokémon lineups of each lower Team Flora member! For the record, I will also eventually post sprite versions of these lineups!

I have something neat to post! It's a sprite interpretation of all the battles with regular Team Flora Grunts! Now remember that this was posted further back in this topic, but not in sprite form! Now it's time to see all these Team Flora teams in a more visual way!

My favorite Grass Pokémon happens to be Gloom. It's cute and you may not know it, but for its power calibur for Pokémon in its class happens to be very good. In fact, what I call its "combined stats" happen to be as good as Azumarill's.
Now I'm going to post all of the Team Flora Grunt battles me and a friend of mine thought up right here. However, it would be too complicated for you guys for me to dive into more detail about these particular missions. Anyway, here's what we've thought up for you guys to enjoy.

All right then. Once I've posted this down, we'll go and look for that stone slab you found then.
Now I have a sprite interpretation of all the extra battles with regular Team Flora Grunts that myself and a friend of mine did! Now remember that this was posted further back in this topic, but not in sprite form! Now it's time to see all these Team Flora teams in a more visual way!
