^^; I believe this thread would see better fit in the General Games Discussion. :3 Remember, if you're talking about the Pokemon cards, video games, TV shows, whatever, they each have their own forum. ^_____^

Gold.

That one was the best one yet. Silver comes pretty close since they are both almost the same. But Gold still beats it. I liked Red too, just cuz it had the origanal first set of Pokemon in it(they were the best).

To me, Gold and Crystal were my first generation. They were like your RBY. I joined the Pokemon fanatic world much later because at first I hated it. But look at me now!

I think you forgot Ruby/Sapphire when adding the poll. ^^;

Anyway, my absolute favourite is Sapphire.

...Do I really need to explain why? Because it has KYOGRE!!111!!!!

Eheh... well, that's part of the reason. RSE are my favourite generation of the Pokémon games, but both Ruby and Emerald contain Groudon... and I bare a passionate hatred for the aforementioned legendary, so yeah.

LeafGreen comes in at second place. Originally, my second favourite was Blue, but then FR/LG came out, so LG instantly became my favourite. (For those of you who don't know, the American Blue is actually the Japanese Green, translated and edited for some strange reason. o.o;)

But yeah, that's about all.

I liked Silver/Gold. It was fun to have a huge new region to explore AND be able to return to kanto to revisit the locations and gyms from the earlier games. Makes one feel sorry for Blaine though. :P

Mwar, I liked FireRed and Gold the best. Gold was amazing for me when it first came out and FR was a really well-done remake of an already amazing game.

CRAP! Mwar, I forgot to put Red in >_<;;

Silver was just amazing!! Even though I bought it bootlegged and had a REALLY hard time finishing it that way I was amazed by almost everything in it -- it was a giant leap for Pokémon games, and it amazed me even more when I found Kanto in it too(I even cried ^_^). And FR/LG were impressive b/c I never expected remakes and the revival of Kanto was a great ideea! ...now I only wish they'd make a remake for G/S too...

I liked all of them actually, but I'd have to say the best out of the poll I liked was Pokemon Gold. I liked the story line much better then the orginal Blue/Yellow/Red ones. Which were all the same, lol. =3

I wish they would make remakes of gold and silver. It feels like everyone forgot about the G/S series. I guess it's because it's the only game without advance graphics. It would be soooooooooo cool if they made a remake of gold/silver!!

Definently Emerald... Then Silver. ^^

Ruby because I liked the story line and Groudon. then Gold and silver because they had the best gym leaders and I liked the way it brought in the red/blue protagonist.
I Liked Emerald, but Giving you Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza before the elite four felt like too much power...

Silver Blaze

I've played and completed quite a few over the years... But Hmm... My favorite...

It must be.... Pokémon Crystal! Since the time I got it(first week it came out), til the time the gba game came out, I was still playing Crystal something :) One thing was the little animations which caught my eye, and made me want to play it over, and over! ^_^

I liked Gold and Green. I liked green because I like the different battle sprites and I liked Gold because that game was just plain awesome.

I voted Blue and Gold(I have both of those), and I would've voted Sapphire as well if it was on the list.

I voted gold and emerald(crystal) and LG because gold was amazing emerald was intriguing with the little anime of kyogre and groudon(even if it only lasted 30 sec.)and LG because I loved the original games and I thought LG was an amazing remake.

Blue, Silver, and Crystal.

Why blue? Because...it was blue! X3 And I got to choose between Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. Not to mention I actually got to capture a Pikachu and evolve it into a Raichu(my favorite Pokemon!).

Why Silver? It had both Kanto and Johto! Plus, it was easy to capture Lugia(my second favorite Pokemon!). ^-^ To me, anyway.

Why Crystal? I could actually be a FEMALE trainer. Seriously, that made me so happy. It also had my two favorite regions. Plus, it was easy to capture Suicune(my third favorite Pokemon! XD).

Definitely Silver I just loved the music but the original pokemon games Red and Blue also have something that the new pokemon games don't have.
