Harvest Moon: Winds of Beggining

This is a hack i started working on.Its a hack of the original Harvest Moon for the SNES.The story is basicly the same but with a few twists.

New Tools
New Animals
New crops
New Characters
New maps and edited ones

For now i will show you a screenshot of a minimaly edited part.Il be updating more stuff later.

Well a cat is a pretty good idea and i was putting it in.Any more suggestions for animals?

how about....snakes! snakes are good! or elephants!(you could sell their ivory tusks...except that's illegal...)

It's not that type of game.

I haven't played the old snes game, do you get to married in it like the other games?
And can you give gifts to people?

You can get married but you can't cook and other people
give you stuff. I think your talking about the new Gamecube one.

YES you get married,you have like um 5 or 6 girls to choose from.
YES you can give people gifts. Each girl has a diffrent taste:)
NO you can not cook thats only in the newer games.

+ :D for the game:
The harvest sprites live under your farm.They grow mushrooms that you can sell for 200 gold.
You have a LARGE field area.
There is a lots of small water spots in the field so you dont have to go all the way to the big water place.

- :( for the game
You have no Rucksack wich means you can only carry one item a time and only two tools.
Small chicken house.
Small area ( Not so many places to go E.T.C)
Few celabrations / Festivals (only 4 or 6 a year i think)

And um thats what i remember now;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) :D

Yes you cant cook.However i may be able to insert a cooking system but im not sure.

I always keep my chickens inside, just to be safe. And how do you win the chicken festival in PS! It's too hard,,,

Oh okay.Basicly,in the start you choose what kinda pet you like from some choices,but if you say you dont like any,after about a year people will start seeing wierd monsters on the soak-o-matic and plant-o-matic.You go there and you see some monsters which are always saying "Bulbasaur Bulbasaur" and "Squirtle Squirtle".Obviously they are Bulbasaurs and Squirtles(Charmander will be in the mountain) and one of both the groups like you and want to go with you and you take one or none(if you want the charmander).
Wierd story,isnt it?

I don't think they could evolve in Harvest Moon
because the animals don't change. You would
have to edit the script to do something like that.

Oh yeah, they could evolve when the cows grow big and stuff like that. All of em do it apart from the dog. Oh...it's a cat now...
