I can't get Magmar in LG...

I used My venasaur to beat Geodude, Machoke, and Machop over and over again till he was about to faint and had no more pp for attacks. And I still couldn't find magmar. What should I do?

I don't really understand what your saying but if you are looking for magma try Mount ember.But they are rare.

I havent reached that part yet but in FR version, Electebuzz is the opposite pokemon and it took a long time to find.

My way of catching Magmar: stop looking. It is very hard to find, and when I was on my way to catch Moltres after going through the game, what Pokemon should I find, but Magmar! Again, it is very hard to find. Very, very hard to find.

I remember I ran into Magmar after like three tries. Just keep running around in circles or whatever you do. He's there, He just doesn't come out, little B******.
