Gundam War

So I was talking to the owner of one of the two hobby shops I frequent, and we were talking about this new CCG that came out a short while ago. Anyone heard of it or are interested in it? If so I might need to go look around on the mechanics of the game and stuff. ;)

I and another friend infact, helped Bandai at the Gama convention here in Vegas get the product of Gundam War out to the retailers and distributors. I know a great deal about it and I'll answer any questions you all have.

So far my only problem that myself and quite a few others have is that the game of Gundam is only going to be sold by small businesses. Which means in the long run it won't have as much exposure as many other games coming out in say Walmart.

That's true. Also the fact that it plays somewhat like mtg doesn't help it one bit...from the words of the retailer: it's mtg except with only milling.

I know, it plays like MTG and some of the cards in it resemble those of Magic. When I was showing the game people were like" Hey this is Gods Wrath!" lol I wish it good fortune, but I don't see where its going to get it from.

Not sure. Gundam War needs to expand right now and take its spot if anything. Right now I think Gundam War can take at least some of the Duel Master's niche, and maybe some magic players will convert/play both too. I'd say with the right marketting, this can be successful, as the game mechanics they use themselves have been proven to be the best *based on mtg having the largest fanbase and its longevity*.
