Believe it or not, without my obcession; I would just blend-in, be invisible in this huge forum. A garden variety member you can say.

I never knew how obcessions past and present became hard-core. It could have roots to my AD(H)D. I'll never know. But back in early 2003, R/S came out in the US. I knew of RS a month or 2 before. I finally saw a list of all the Nupogeymans. Some I fell instanty in...well, likeness. The Swampert and Garde lines grew on me, and soon they became favorites. I was obcessed with Marshtomp for almost a year following, but that wasn't totally hard-core. Then that obcession dwindled and soon Garde came into the picture. For the next few months I was collecting as many pictures as I can. I also had a picture binder with many pictures of the current obcession. I had some random Pokemon pics in there, but the soon turned into 75% Garde. For my Junior vocabulary definations, I sometimes wrote sentences about Garde('Let's extol the Green haired Godess!'). I search for "Garde" on SPP/PC's advanced search every few days. I drew it most of the time.I even planned a collage to have in my locker :P So far: 2500 pic on the computer(of anything relating to the line), a few fan sites bookmarked, and such.

And from that very deep post, I'm a big fat nut with a capital N. But I don't bite ;)

I like Gardevoir because I like Kirlia, pretty much. And the reason I like Kirlia is a long story. The gist of it goes like this:

The time was after R/S's release in Japan, but before it's release everywhere else (ROMs don't count). I was at some Japanese fan art site when I saw this picture of Kirlia. It was amazing, I couldn't believe she was a pokemon (the picture's Kirlia was female). From then, I couldn't wait to get R/S for just that Pokemon. I also didn't know she was part of an evolutionary line. Once information was released, I learned about the other two, and thought the line was purely female, as that's what fan art would have me assume.

...lots of events that aren't important happened, mainly in just playing the game...

Months later, partly in boredom and in wanting to see more pics, I used Yahoo! Japan to see if I could find more wonderful pictures. Little did I realize I'd stumble across a obsessive Japanese fansite where everything was of Gardevoir's evolutionary line only. About 400 artworks submitted, 3 or 4 Oekakis dedicated to ONLY these 3 Pokemon, flash games, clay figures, hand sewn dolls... I could go on. Needless to say, while I liked Kirlia before, seeing this site put what I called an obsession to shame, and now I'm practically a hopeless addict to Kirlia and the others. The site really got me into liking the other two as well. And you'd be amazed too, if you didn't know they were Pokemon before hand, this site definately wouldn't have convinced you otherwise. Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir can easily be put into any situation and you'd think they were part of some other anime.

That's my story, and yes, that is the short version. XD

There you have it. Apparently, what I like doesn't help me stand out at all (nothing does... >_< Not another word from me. -_-; Hey! That means I can get away with more. >=D).

The story's a little dated in that I like Kucheat/Mawile more than Kirlia now, and I started liking her the exact same time (and the same place, that one site had the both of them) as Kirlia.

The very brief story on Chikorita is just that I figure it's the most memorable Johto pokemon, considering it's the most forgetable series for me. Ash's Chikorita especially grew on me.

Nidorina is just a favorite because I felt bad for her a long time ago. Pretty much being near unique in having 'Rina as a favorite, it makes me like her more.

And that's the top tier. They're all female too (or I'd prefer them that way)... I don't really know how that worked out, but I'm not complaining. And this is the end of the giant post no one will read.

Sad thing is that I'm pretty sure a lot of people are obsessed with something (granted at different levels), but they won't admit it, I guess due to some sort of reputation or what have you. Hah! With me being overlooked so much I really don't care what I say anymore. That's why I joined up with ease.

I'm actually, at the moment, saving up money to get two sets of dogtags. Pure silver ones, that you can get engraved with words on one side and a picture on the other. On the front of the first set will be a picture of Will, and on the back it will say 'Five Years Of Loving You', same with the other set only a picture of Morty.

When I get to five years of Brawly-love, you can be sure I'll do something REALLY special. Come to think of it, me and Eusine's fifth is coming up....Okay, maybe I need 120 bucks then. >___> 'Stead of 80.

An entire folder dedicated to Ibuki-sama, I have the most ships for Clair (dont make me name em all), I'm trying to do a comic about her in the sparce spare time I have in my days, I write love poems, I draw hentai (clothed of course, I cant stand naked bodies for some reason), Clair is the goddess I pray to every night along with Lizzie but Lizzie's not a secondary character in Pokemon, she's one of the hot MOFO teachers at my school. Well, I'm happy this club is going well, as it's my very first one and all my other (RL) ones crashed an burned. Well those RL ones where stupid and was back when I was in primary school, like the "Dancing Club" becuase I thought I was such a good dancer back then (XP). Some girls at school took fliers but none came to meeting. "The Cheetah Club" (since we liked Cheetahs) was a neighborhood club started by a friend and me. During one of the session, I stupidly stood atop a table outside and my friend pushed on the table to get me off. Well, the club ended and I broke my arm for the 2nd time.

I'm like so into Clair. I dont know why. It could be her wild, sexay, freaked out hair or those dark, handsome eyes of hers. Or it could be those lovely, graceful legs of hers. I dunno which. I have a crush on every part of her body except for her butt after seeing PokeSpecial pics.
Ya know what's REALLY fun to do? Get a lot of soda, Pepsi preferred because of the super sweet taste, drink like a LOT of it until you're like rushing to the bathroom and see all the freaky stuff you think of your obsession doing. One time I had a vision that Clair has a nice cologin (sp?) injection and suddenly Liza and I were fighting like mad to kiss her. Dude! Life rocks!

Well, it seems that drawing Gardevoir 90% has annoyed a person at TPM. I'm not giving his name, but in one of my topics he was like "Can you draw somthing other then the Ralts line?". Fast forward after a few other topics. I post a topic on maybe 5 pictures (2 of them had Garde of course) and then the same guy from before is like:
"Non_Garde OMG!"
(I jokenly called my non-Gardevoir pictures 'Not-Garde')
"No offence, but you seem to draw only those"
Jee, you think after all this time I didn't know?
"You need to tweak crap and fall in your own style (huuuuuuuur)"

As I've told Housyasei before, that's why I won't bother with Charizard/Scizor/Tyrannitar etc. They have enough fans, let them draw those guys. Plus, I'm not trying to impress anyone. If you don't like what I have, there's plenty of people out there who will service ya.

So, I guess the moral is not to compromise yourself or something. Whatever you derive from it, I guess.

(In other news, one more paper left! >=3 Oh yeah, and due to a T-Storm, it killed my router and I'm having a bloody hard time trying to set it up again. I'm posting at school, but if I don't get it fixed within my last week here, my laptop is useless* and it's back to the dreaded-error-prone-molasses-slow family computer X_x. I hear you brother (:P). When I found out tat Gardevoir wasn't in the Hoenn Leugue(sp), I was pretty pissed off the rest of the day and getting aggravated with everyone in my way. I hated the writers for giving the opponent dude a Hariyama and a Shiftry when they had whole episodes with them in the spotlight, while Garde got 5 minutes of airtime in the Ralts episode and just stood there 99%. >:\

I heard the Hoenn Leugue was getting crappy anyway. Hmph.

I'm quite fortunate. I almost never had to worry about airtime. Kirlia was in a movie, cameoed in a contest, was the princess in an in-show movie, and did more than Garde ever could in the Ralts ep (Haw haw! </Nelson>).

Kucheat had a rather interesting episode I predicted (or rather hoped for). Long before her ep. aired, I wanted it to be about a female Kuchi falling in love with another character, Pokemon or human (if human, I was hoping Brock). Well, it pretty much happened, but no one caught it (instead it had to be one of them TotD's PKMN). Still very good, though.

^ I haven't actually seen the above episode, but I'd kill just to hear Kuchi's voice before it has the chance to be butchered by 4Kids (and you just KNOW they won't keep the original, 'Mawile' does not start with a 'K').

Do I have to explain Chiko? She had an entire season, plus Casey's Chikorita before it growed up (Chikorita's Big Upset = favorite... reminds me so much of my Chikorita stereotype :P ).

Rina's the only one who gets the short end of the stick, in basically EVERYTHING related to Pokemon. She had a few cameos, but let's face it, they weren't that great. In The Heartbreak of Brock, I waited for that episode patiently for months, and then it turns out the writers go "letz fokus on teh huemanz agin olol" as if I don't see Team Twerp enough...

Every other Nido has gotten some respect, though. Especially Nidoking, because we all know how Nidoking must be the greatest of them all. 9_9

I actually got lucky with Clair. I got FIVE WHOLE episodes with her in it though Wy Wynaut just sucked, I didn't even watch the ending because it makes me so sad I get sick. My favorite one was Beauty is Skin Deep because Clair was SOOOO cute with that country look going on. *glomps Clair*
I didn't give up complete hope yet though. Clair still has a chance on appearing in another episode because if Ash's Charizard visits, Liza may and if Liza's in love with Clair, she may tag along.......
I'm VERY mad that Hayato and Bugsy-sama only got a crappy episode. Hayato is like a god and Bugsy is got to be as hot as Richie (sorry Ash fans)
I wanted Hayato to kick Ash's butt and for Bugsy-sama to also kick Ash's butt and for Clair to uh beat the crap outta Lance and make love with Liza right in front of the lake so Lance can see and take it in that Clair hates him and.....*rambles on and on*

Kirby, most definately. Been a strong fan of him since 1992, the year of his first game. Kirby's my #1 favorite series, and therefore more important than everything else. I'm also very knowledgable about the guy. I had to use Japanese guidebooks and info just to get some information on names and facts that we never get in the US, and basically devoted years to research on him. Plus, I try to get merchandise whenever possible. It's probably that same usefulness that makes me stand out at the other forum I visit... the one that is much better than PC... which I am indeed getting tired of...

Okay... weird... *Feels like telling a story* I first saw Asuna in the Ruby and Sapphire Player's Guide... I instantly fell in love. If it wasn't for Asuna, I would never have known what a forum was (Seriously). See... I Googled "Flannery", and then got a forum with a Flannery Fan Club, and I wanted to join... so I joined that forum. The owner never showed up in a while, so I got it 3 months later. But the month before that, someone told me to come here and make one cause I couldn't wait any longer. So I joined here and made a club about Flannery here. And well... here I am today. YAY! How I feel about Asuna was a good thing for me!

I keep my last 2 fingers tightened almost all the time(except when typing and a few other special occasions) because I manna feel like I have 3 claws, whenever someone gets on my nerves I Mimic spitting out a fireball at him/her, I Growl, I Draconize, I Mimic Charizard's gestures from pkmn eps, I put orange drawers on my window ta make it look like there's lava in my room, I generally refer to it as my lair, I use fire-related expressions alot, I keep my room at a nice 30 degrees Celsius during summer, I force myself ta tollerate outside scorching heat... will this do? ^_^

Tch. I've sticked a Charizard on my SNES, but that's about it since pkmn merchandise wasn't very varried here in romania... T_T Lol, my yahoo messenger ID where I have real-life friends has Charizard in its name an' I always use a Charizard avvy on it, my friends have been hopin' for me ta get over it for years now but that won't happen unless I either die or get Amnesic. XD

Lol, Charizard had alot of screentime back in Orange Islands, but still never enough for my obsession. XD
An' when Ash left his Charizard in Charicific Valley I was sad an' shocked for 'bout 4 days, even cried a few times... T_T

To the net, a Clair fic must have Lance involved and you know how I feel about Lance especially in Clair's life. Clair's a dike, get over it.

1#I have one of the largest collection of the Ralts line at 2860(appx) pictures. These range from normal fanart, oekakis, merchandise pics, hentai, gijinkas, and a few pictures that copied from the original art work :P

2#I have the raw episode of "Hurry Max! Save Ralts" in realplayer (I still need to install that thing on the new laptop)

#3 I have maybe 4-5 wallpapers.

hey I'll give this club a post - anyway, my pokemon obsession is Fearow/onidrill as you can see, though it's not as strong as it once was, I still think fondly of good ol' fearow.

I was so happy that Fearow got screentime today! It was Winona's first ep, and there was a fearow in the flying pokemon procession at the end of the episode (it was only in 1 or 2 shots, since this is Hoenn and they can't focus on 1st gen pokemon :P but at least it was there! yay!). Fearow got pretty good screentime in the 1st movie as the spy of Mewtwo, as well as the mysterious girl who got on a Fearow to go to Mewtwo's island and never made it (>_>), and also in the 2nd movie as part of the big flocks of flying pokemon. But then there's been no fearow screentime in any movies past that. :(

Recently I got a fearow stamp from a Chinese supermarket! I also have another fearow figurine and a puzzle piece with the standard "wings spread" picture on it (it's hard to find Fearow merchandise).

I also have fearow-filled diaries since it's practically the only pokemon I can draw apart from Jigglypuff these days. Fearow's just so fun and easy to draw though, with it's spikey crest and long beak and sharp eyes. ^_^ Birds are fun. My pokemon folder has a fearow subdirectory which has all my gold/silver/yellow/anime screenshots and fanarts I've found, and the webshrine I started making but never finished. >_<

Hmm, is this post long enough yet? Actually, I'm also really obsessed with Clair and Flannery...

I know of a great website where you can get lots of big Clair pics but currently it's down and it's in another language that's not Japanese.
About the Clair club
It hasn't been updated in a while, if we leave it dead for a month (30 days exactly after the last poster), I can legally start a new club because it doesn't seem Leader Clair is coming back. But I'll check her profile to see when the last time she's been here.

I also went about making note every time someone even made a Fearow-related comment. "Soaring like a Spearow!" - Ash's mother. Plus I took down all the weird names the Stadium trainers give their fearows, like "Fearenza" and "Ow-fear" and "Arowiny" (wtf?).

Yes, Garde(voir) (http://dex.pokemonpalace.net/index.php?action=viewpoke&id=282) is a third generation Pokemon. Most of it is fanart, with some screenshots here and there. It never really made an appearance other then the filler episode where it just stood there and 5 seconds getting creamed in the "Challanger" opening. Yep :\

Well anyway, recently I did another fearow picture by computer. I haven't done one for ages, so I feel quite proud :classic: . You can see a small version in my new avatar (I suppose avatars are another form of fan-creation?). Does anyone else make heaps (relatively) of avatars for their favourite pokemon?

Oh, and Gardevoir is pretty. :) I actually remember seeing it before, I just didn't know what it was called. The Ralts line is cool. I love the mysterious little mushroom top, with the red tab sticking out.

It's always good for someone else to give a bump to a club thread other then *coughmecough*. As with her, I did some pictures 2 weeks ago.(Thks KKKatrina). Yep, I lived near New Orleans and had to evacuate. But, I'm fine and safe now. ^_^ I'll show the most recent pictures of mine as attachments since some people are too lazy to go to DA. ^^;;;

As for my obcession(s), I dunno how many of you are familiar with the second season of SonicX. I'm beggining to like Cosmo (and her sisters), who strangely looks like Kirlia/Gardevoir. That explains it.Heh.

#- A Kirlia squid/octopus, me and the members of the Garde FanClub drew/sprited Kirlia squids. I drew this very late...and I know about it has 7 tenticle-things.
#- I tried my hand at a realistic Garde, but it looks more like a morph...:0

Wow, at first glance I thought Cosmos was a Kirlia/Gardevoir pokemorph, until I read you said she came from SonicX.

How's this for obsession - I spent 3 hours searching for pokemon songs yesterday, instead of going to sleep. But it was a good haul, managed to get a bunch of karaoke tracks and albums added to the collection.

Not much to add in way of Fearow news... I always liked how in the manga (by Ono), Ash had a Fearow. He even uses it to "Fly" him places, just like me.

Although if we're speaking of look-alikes, I noticed a whole bunch of birds who look rather Fearow-like, like the Fly card in Card Captor Sakura, or Suzaku from Fushigi Yuugi, or Motoko's sister's bird (that's stretching it a bit). I burned off the pics so I'm going to have to go look for them now...
