I always found it odd that they called it the Purple Shuckle when it looked a lot more blue to me...the color for Shiny Shuckle is blue, so I don't know if this one is Shiny or just an oddity o_O

It should get its own move like "Berry Shot" xD Base Damage: 50 Accuracy: 100% Notes: Attacks 2-5 times per turn. Can cause paralysis.

well it's gonna be an impossible pokémon to find then, especially in Leaf Green, as Shuckle is a Johto pokemon - available only in silver/gold versions. Leaf Green only focuses on the original 150 in Kanto.

I've been breeding Shuckles all day o_o; I now have twenty on my Sapphire cart XD

What nature do any of you recommend, and should I EV train to increase its attack or to max out its defense?

Maybe raising its attack to have a more balanced Shuckle. =D
But you might want to raise every one of them differently....

I actually have two boxes full of shuckles now. I decided I'm going to take one and ev train it (split between 50% attack, 25% special defense, 25% and defense) to level 100 and turn it into an absolute juggernaut XP~

In EV-training my Shuckle, it's currently at level 24, and its attack is 2.5 times as high as the level 60 Shuckle I traded over from Colosseum thanks to all the Attack EV boosting I've been doing.

Now post, people! We've only begun to scratch the surface. Somebody start a topic.

My Shuckle finally has his effort ribbon and is at level 48. His attack is already 60, which, for a Shuckle, is insane o_o;

Shuckle is actually the first pokemon I've ever EV trained...there are amazing results, but it almost isn't worth my time x_x; There's a guide to it that's way better than anything I could explain at www.pokefor.tk ...at least, that's where I got all my information.

Unfortunately you can only get it through Colosseum, I think. In Japan, you can get it at the Altering Cave in FRLG, but that feature wasn't carried over here.

That's what I meant about the altering cave XD My EV-trained Shuckle is now level 78, and is rather deadly o_o; Once I get it to level 100 I'll post its stats.
