(Ok, im going to teach you how to sprite free hand, first of all you magnify the screen by 8 to make it easy)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/tut2.bmp
(then you draw some basic shapes for the pokemon, lets go with some simple circles, (you can do more complcated shapes)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/tut3.bmp
(right now it dont look like anything at the moment, but when we add some more details it will, now go around the shapes with black and try to make something that will look like a pokemon, also add some main features)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/tut4.bmp
now try not to make it look like a paper cut out, notice i have tried to make it llook like its walking (i dont know if i did a good job though))
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/tut5.bmp
(now choose a colour for the body (or whatever you want to do first) if you want you can use the colour mixer)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/tut6.bmp
(now add some shadow area's. see these checkered bits i have circled, i call them gradiant, they give a great effect to the pokemon (i think)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/tut7.bmp
(now add some highlights (for this pokemon it only needs it on the face, but every pokemon is different)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/tut8.bmp
( now follow step 5 6 and 7 with the hair and your done)
and this is the origanal sprite http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/blitzballchamp/boogiemonsterXD.bmp

now the reason i did this is because every1 is only doing fusions and recolours, and i only know afew good spriters that actually know how to sprite freehand

EDIT: **** IT ITS TOO SMALL TO READ THE WORDS ill have to read them out to you :D
