How do I fish in r/s

I got the rods
but they keep escaping

Its really hard

When the screnn says ohh a bite you have to press 'A' really quickly its mostly just luck if it works but dont press A until thats said or otherwise nothing will bite cos your pulling the rod out to early

I had problems with that to and now since I have followed ~Mudkip's~ directions now I have a million pokemon on he hook!

But anyway you have to wait untill you have a bite then press a.

When you're fishing with a better rod, "oh a bite" message may display many times, and you must press (A) quickly. Also, better rods catch better Pokemon. That's it.

when it says pokemon on the hook press a it should start a battle
from ho-ho

Eeeh. A "Pokemon is on the hook!" is message when you depleted the limit of (A) pressing when "oh a bite" popup pops up. AND DON'T PRESS BUTTON TOO FAST. A pokemon is on the hook message starts the battle...
