I like it, but the layout is a little too plain.

I love the layout. It's plain and simple as ^ said but it's striking, attractive and effective enough. A very decent site. Keep up the good work.
I was surprised to see the number of sites you own!LOL!

The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document types the "type" attribute is required on the "script" element and the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.
Typical values for type are type="text/css" for <style> and type="text/javascript" for <script>.

You don't really have much to fix, just give the ALT tags and it would be valid. ;)
Also, while the page is valid, the presentation is not good. In the browser I'm using (Safari 2.0), the graphics don't seem to be in the proper places.
Congratulations!
This document validates as CSS!
To show your readers that you've taken the care to create an interoperable Web page, you may display this icon on any page that validates. Here is the HTML you could use to add this icon to your Web page:
<p>
<a href="http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/">
<img style="border:0;width:88px;height:31px"
src="http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/images/vcss"
alt="Valid CSS!">
</a>
</p>
(close the img tag with /> if using XHTML)
If you like, you can download a copy of this image to keep in your local web directory, and change the HTML fragment above to reference your local image rather than the one on this server.
If you would like to create a link to this page (i.e., this validation result) to make it easier to re-validate this page in the future or to allow others to validate your page, the URI is:
http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http://www.ryux.net/
or http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/check/referer (for HTML/XML document only)
(Or, you can just add the current page to your bookmarks or hotlist.)
To work as intended, your CSS style sheet needs a correct document parse tree. This means you should use valid HTML.

Blah. But alt tags are boring :P. OK, maybe I *should* put them in, but there really isn't a need on those ones XD
