Demo 2 is ready for download now. I have been working hard these few days with my spare time. I have decided to let you play the second demo, which I already had done, but . . . Here is just a taste of the game, and I could tell you now that it'll be much longer. Enjoy, and hopefully you can beat it, because I could not beat the second boss. The game is here and you can download it. The game might have a few spelling errors and a few things need to be fixed in the game, and I am going to add some stuff. There will be a sequel, and I have used the game graphics that came with rmxp as you may have noticed. Over all I believe it is a pretty goood game. I hope you like it and tell me if you find any major errors. Enjoy.

Kingdom

Arshes is a normal teenage warrior. He and his party protect the Kingdom of Sypharia, and also were chosen by the great king to do so. One day unexpected turn of events are about to fall upon him. He wakes up to his younger brother telling him he must go to the castle for a great celebration. It turns out that when he, and his party get there, creatures have over run the castle. After that you end up running through the castle facing beats and when you get to the throne room... A dark being is attacking the queen, asking her for something. When she refuses to give it to him, he freezes her in time, and you and your party must venture out to try and find a way to turn the queen back to normal, destroy the evil being, and ultimately, bring peace to the Kingdom. Face your way through evil creatures, dungeons, challenging bosses, and led Arshes through this great adventure.

I had a problem with downloading it. It downloaded, but as an unknown file type. When I tried opening it with winzip it made a wordpad file...

nevermind my last post, I was able to run it after using WinAce instead of WinZip. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have it

The game is okay, if you do a sequel though, I think you should make the maps better, they are plain like Superiority said

I think you should really play into it more since it is very fun as you progress. I changed the beginning maps so they were not as plain so you could download it again to see for yourself. You should really play into it more, since there are alot of creatures, dungeons, bosses.

Can anyone post a reply, or an opinion about my game? Any, I could do a remake and add anything. I was planning to add a side quest where you could face secret bosses. But I decided not to. They will be in the sequel; Which I have decided to call; Kingdom 2 Rise of Darkness. Just to let you know. Play my game if you'd like, the download is at the top of this page.

Well i had to edit the file type several times to get it to work right.Try changing the file type to a zip. file then unzip it.

Anyways, i'm up to the fortress and the game is fun.But there should be more spots to heal your character.The bosses are moderatly hard so they are fun to battle.

*Your far in the game. The fortress is a hard level, and the boss is challenging. Just remember to buy potions, elixers, and also tonics, which (if you dont know) revive a party member, or full tonic which revives them and heals them up. If you dont know who the sales person is. It is a guy with white hair, and a black suit.

A glitch happened and it was useful.Gloria had like 845 HP, and now she got about 1150 HP.

*It was probably not a glitch. At some parts of the game I made it so that your whole party heals up, usually before bosses, so you dont die.

Oh, and let me guess, Levathain is the final boss?

You'll have to find out for yourself. Get to the end and you'll find out. One of the characters though, you might not expect to be what he turns out to be. Just a hint.

Dan, part of making a good story and a good game is to not have a boring beginning. If you have a boring beginning, most players WON'T keep playing. You have to grab their interest.

It does not have a boring beginning, and I just wrote that might because I had a beginning with bad maps, but I changed them and replaced the download. Why dont you see for yourself? You might not find it so boring.

I'm up to the Earth Temple and the game is getting better.That giant bird i needed to beat on wind mountain was the only hard enemy i faced other than the sage i encounter in the desert.

So far i'm up to my final battle with my rival's in Viro's lair.I already had 2 of my members die on the first turn.The game is great, but there are some bugs that you can fix.Like for example, in Branch Town, if you exit from the south, you will have to complete Wind Mountain all over again.

My cousin, the beta tester had the same problem and he was annoyed by it. Your already at the end. Hope you beat it, and Viro is a little difficult so you might not defeat him on your first try. Just to warn you. The final rival is hard. Your right.

I beat my final rival battle and found out, there are two final bosses.Dark Dragon (if you touch the orb), and Viro (if you talk to him).I faced the dark dragon first and it gave me three game overs.

So i can check if the results for beating the two final bosses are different, i made several save files.

Edit: Just found out, Dark Dragon is probably the final boss, however you can skip Viro and head right up to the Dark Dragon first.That can be fixed with a conditional branch, but you would have to edit some stuff.Viro was easy, just keep him unable to do magic and he won't attack often.

Edit 2: I'm up to the area when there are crystals that say stuff about darkness.I beat, Shadow, Arcon and Leviathan easily.And the game is harder than before.Now i'm up to facing Arcon the second time.

Edit 3: I'm up to Darkness which i'm sure is the final boss.

Edit: I'm facing Arcon the fourth time.

darkness is very hard to beat. He is the last boss and his attacks to major damage. All I could tell you is that he has 50,000 hp, compared to Arcon's first form with 35,000
and he has all the strongest attacks. Good luck beating him. Just use sharpen and alot
of tonics if you have them.

edit: Just beat him the last time and you beat the game. The fourth time is probably the easiest, when you are in leviathon's body. That is where you were the whole time, if I didn't say that in the game, just to tell you.

I think he is easier, I dont remember if I made his attacks stronger or not. I think I did. But I reduced his hp to like 20,000 at that point. If I didn't put a healing spot, I meant to do that so you'd be weak to face him and so would he. If Gloria is still alive use her to heal your party and he should be easy to beat.

I put an ending in the game after you beat Arcon. You may have downloaded the one without the ending, because I replaced it with one with an ending. You may have downloaded the one before I replaced it. The ending though is just that you meet Merlin in the Ruins and he brings you to the heavons and The End. You beat the game already.

Your welcome. It is not a demo though, it is the whole entire game. Just with a few fixes needed. But you can play the whole thing through without any problems. Hope you enjoy. :D

If you have not yet seen on my website. I am beginning my new game, the sequel to Kingdom, "Kingdom 2 Rise of the Creator". I am going to work very hard on this game with as much time as I can get in to do so. I will post updates of it, and when I am ready will open a thread with screen shots and info. Here is the story:

Story

Arshes has saved Sypahria, the Great Kingdom and has chosen to take a new path. One that brings him to Twilight City, a place where light always shines and the good strives. One dream though leads him into a familiar placefinding a wise woman who calls herself the Gate Keeper.She asks him to bring her the power of the God's so that she may spread peace upon the land.Little does Arshes know that this "Gate Keeper" is not who she pretends to be.

Suddenly an unexpected new character arrives in twilight town with an army of monsters just waiting to kill Arshes. What can he do? He left his party in Sypharia to embrace his destiny, and now he was facing it. In this adventure, Arshes must face the power of nature, vicous dark creatures, evil bosses, the God's themselves, and above all the Creator of Light and Darkness. What will his fate bring him? That is for you to decide.

Features:

Longer, and more difficult dungeons.

Stronger bosses that will truly challenge you.

A new Party, and also some characters from Kingdom and new ones to be introduced.

The demo. If that is what you were talking about, how can you have if I just posted it up this second, right after your post :king: . Your clearly just trying to make everyone not want to play which is a very cruel thing. Maybe you should actually play before you judge a game. Actually play.

I played the demo.The maps are a little plain, theres a glitch that lets you get infinte antidotes, and other than that, the demo is good.

Thanks. i will put some more work into it. The next demo will be better. If you played Kingdom 1, it was a little easy. This one is going to be a lot harder to beat. There will be 8 bosses, and 8 dungeons. Some bosses are going to need stradegy to beat, others a lot of items.

demo 2 is out. I knew I said it would take a week. But I finished early, and the next demo will be out setember 1st, or earlier and it will have 5 dungeons. There may be more than 8 dungeons and 8 bosses. I think maybe ten, but I am not sure yet. Hope you enjoy the second demo, just go to the main page of this thread and it should be at the top. Good luck beating it. Once you beat the second boss it ends, I think I did not put end of demo thats why I am telling you this now. Please tell me if you catch any errors so I could fix them for the next demo. I am sure there are errors but just in case okay. I want the next to be as perfect as it can be. Enjoy.

the 3rd demo will have to be dragged to next week. I'll have the demo done by next friday, and there is alot done. Here are some of the big things you could expect:

1. 3 more challenging, puzzling dungeons that'll give you a true challenge, along with bosses at the end of each.

2. New Items, and stronger weapons

3. A Mysterious and new party member

4. New towns to explore.

5. Many secrets to uncover

6. Over 3 hours of gameplay
