I also see LJ as a great spot to make new friends and also to be able to get to know your older friends even better. ^^;

It's pretty suitable to write my life in it than fill my website up with useless stuff other than updates.

I just needed an outlet to vent and whine and complain, so tada! My LJ was created.

I basically found out about LiveJournal from one of my internet friends who opened one up last year. He was always saying, "Caroline, you should create your own LJ too." But I never took up the offer.

But at the start of the year I wanted to record all my events and happenings somewhere. I mean, I have always tried to start up journals and such, but I have never actually continued them. So then I decided to create an LJ since many people seemed to have one already and it would be a fun way to write about my life since people would be able to comment to my entries.

Well I think it is alot better then Xanga to record your thoughts and alot more fun, alot more stuff to it, and rather addicting, if anyone wants to add me to their friends feel free ^_^

Well you go onto LJ. Then you go to 'manage' and a lot of options come up... click on 'customize'. After that stroll down until you get to something that says, 'edit customizes'.
Then you go to the heading that says 'layout', click on it and then stroll down until you see something that says, 'background image' you then click on something that says, 'Override default' and you then place a link of the picture you want to use for your layout.
