If these 2 great fighters had to fight eachother who would win Either Yusuke Urameshi or Edward Elric.

Don't get me wrong Edward Elric is really cool and all but I would have to go with Yusuke Edward using alchemy against Yusuke's Spirit Wave I think Yusuke would win.

Who do you think would win in this ferocious fight?

Yusuke. Edward would have to work with the objects around him, and Yusuke just has to tap into his spirit abilities. I also doubt that Edward would be able to turn Yusuke's spirit energy into anything XD *EQUIVELANT EXCHANGE'D!*

...if you're gonna go make a bunch of these, at least put a 1 week interval between them...otherwise just make a huge thread devoted to these vs. battles...and also, for these battle, you should get 2 people with similar powers (i just don't want this forun to be only battles)

Alchemy and Spirit Techniques aren't exactly similar...

Otherwise i'd choose Elric cuz he looks better XD or i like FMA more XP
however, both have a weakness against killing other humans so i say it would end in a draw XP and neither really woudn't have any motivation to go into the battle anyways assuming none of the other characters helped with it

EDIT:
As long as Edward can get close to Urameshi, he could just do the same thing he did to Experiment #48 and pretty much tribute Yusuke's body to that one place XD
and he could just keep making shields out of the surrounding environment by raising a huge wall before the Sprit blast thingy hits

Yusuke. I am a 100% Ed fan but, face it. It takes a couple of seconds longer for Ed to clap and transmute than for Yusuke to say 'spirit gun'.

Your right Ed is really good and all but Yusuke would win in my opinion with his shotgun also.
EDIT:Then again digi-kun has a great point. It might yet be a draw.

this is just like ranged vs. close combat...actually, the only actual epis ive seen were the ones where he wass letting out the huge one, but i do believe it still takes time for him to charge it...this is a reason actual guns are faster than energy missiles XD

Well, if I remember correctly, Yusuke waits a couple of seconds for the energy to gather at his fingertip before he yells 'Spirit gun'. I don't remember what he does with spirit wave :(

Yusuke's final powers are like DBZish beginning power. Not much can contend with that XD
Ed might dodge a spirit gun, but not the Shot Gun. If he got in close, the Spirit Wave punch would send em flying

Sorry, but the whole comparison between the two is completely stupid. You're comparing a NORMAL KID that can use Alchemy against a kid that can shoot energy beams from his index finger. You might as well just have a topic regarding Scar vs Vegeta while you're at it. Terrible comparison when one's clearly at a bigger, unfair advantage. o_O

x_X lmao Scar is a HUMAN. A normal human than can use Alchemy. Vegeta is a SAIYAJIN. A Super Saiyajin, to be specific. He can go faster than the blink of an eye. Think about it before I go on.

It would be a close one, but I'd have to go with Yusuke on this one. At first, I was going to say Ed, because he could use his alchemy to block Yusuke's attacks all day, and Yusuke can only use so many Spirit moves per day. Then I remembered something. The Spirit Wave. That sucker would go through Ed's defense and crush him. It'd either be a ring out or a TKO.

I gave my opinion. And that opinion is that it's a stupid comparison because it's blatantly obvious Yusuke is overpowered. e_e I gave perfectly good explanations as to why comparing two DIFFERENT characters from two DIFFERENT series' is stupid, especially when it came down to using DBZ vs FMA for an example. When people can shoot beams out of their hands and run faster than the blink of an eye, it's clearly overkill and the other NORMAL people have no chance at all.

Hmm... here's a question: Who do you think would win if neither Yusuke nor Ed were allowed to use their powers (just like an ordinary fist fight)? That would be a bit more fair, wouldn't it? They both work out a lot and do a lot of punchy-stuff. However, I'd be going with Edward there. He has a metal
arm. Getting punched by that would hurt. (The arm isn't really unfair, is it? I mean, Yusuke has a bit more experience with fistfighting and such...)

Yusuke would still win without using his spirit energy. o_o Have you seen him fight without it? He's still a monster who fights extremely fast and Ed wouldn't even be able to keep up with him. I'm the biggest FMA fan of 'em all, and even I know when Ed's outmatched. o_o

I'm also a huge fan of FMA. Yusuke actually would win the fight, but the reason I say Ed is simply because I'm really not into Yu Yu Hakusho..

The love FMA, but yeah Ed would lose.........but FMA is my 2nd favorite anime, my 1st is Yu Yu Hakusho, yeah and Yusuke does fight really fast even without spirit energy.
