Gotta be Pisard from Pretty Cure. I mean, just look at his name. Pisard. That's like, instant win. :O

Um.. yeah. Best villain is Bakura from Yuugiou. ^_^ He's so cool and he actually has a good reason to be villainous unlike most people ("harhar I'm going to take over the world because I CAN" ...just no.) o.o

Bakura did have a better reason then Marik but I think Marik is cuter so I put him in the poll. I have a soft spot for blonde villains.

Lol, that's a good reason too and I have to agree. XD But Malik turns good at the end, so he's not a total villain. :O More like a half-villain.

I would have to say.......um....Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho, or maybe Sensui from Yu Yu Hakusho, they both are very evil but I think maybe Sensui is more sidistic, and Toguro is evil.

Scar from Fullmetal Alchemist. I say this because, despite the fact that he is painted as a villain, I do not see him in such absolute terms which adds a lot to an already-colorful character. He's simply amazing.

No, Malik was evil as well. In the beginning, anyway. o_o; He eventually came around to help everyone fight against his darker half, but to start out he wasn't a "good guy."

I think Akito Sohma from Furuba is the best villain. Why? Well...

- he's the evil head of the sohma family.
- He treats Kyo like a monster just because he's the cat of the zodiac. (and even wants to lock him up because of it).
- He locked Yuki up in a room and tortured him both physically and psychologically every day when they were both younger.
- He is determined to make Tohru suffer as the zodiac members do (which is mainly because of him).
- He stopped Hatori's marriage with his true love and even blinded Hatori in his left eye :(
- He pushed Rin off a balcony.
- He kept Kureno as his own personal slave.
- He beat up Kisa and put her in the hospital after Hiro confessed his love for her.
- just about everything he does/did to the other Sohmas he did for his own selfish reasons.
- All of the sohmas are terrified to go against him because they're afraid of what he might do.

The strange thing is, Akito is still one of my favorite anime characters o_O He's just so angsty and evil, lol.
There are some other reasons why I think he's the best villain, but if I told them I'd probably spoil a lot of the series. So...

(And yes, I know Akito's "secret". everyone who knows what it is will prolly know what I'm talking about. I'm not saying any more to avoid spoilers.)

Those guys got so much evil in them its coming out their ears! well...maybe not XD Don Krieg was a psycho from One Piece but...cant really be considered a top anime villain XD but hey Kid Buu from DBZ kicks azz XD hey if you see a 3 foot tall demented piece of bubble gum coming for ya, your gonna laugh, until he blows you up or eats you XD

the most evil anime bad guy in my opinion in my opinion the worst anime villian is one from yugioh marik cos he was insane and tryed to kill people and stole peoples souls got pleassure out of people living in tourment and also killed his father for the hell of it

Hrm...Ooh, ooh, Dante from Fullmetal Alchemist! So far all of the villains mentioned have been male, but I think Dante is enough of a sick-minded egotistical b*tch to give most of those guys a run for their money.

1. Sensui(Yu Yu Hakusho)-just to get to demon world, allowed humans under him to die, wanted demons to kill humankind just because some tortured demons.

2. Frieza(DBZ)-made most of the universe afraid of him. He killed and had tons of peoples killed off just for their planets.

3. Cell(DBZ)-made to kill. Thats enough XD

4.Shishio(Kenshin)-had a dream for a stronger Japan, didnt care for killing to achieve it.

5.Naraku(Inuyasha)-ruins everyone's life. Still at it >>

I agree with you there, but i still think gaara is the best,
He had the best reason to be evil (but did come good)
He wasn't just evil for the sake of it.

and really when your looking for best villain you have to look at their background, i dont know much of dante's but she still a good villain
and when you first saw her you didnt even think she was going to continue on in the show or even become a villain.

I have to say, the creepiest villain I've seen is probably Darcia from Wolf's Rain... Very eerie and somewhat scary.

Although I also think Rau Le Cruset is a very creepy one... (Gundam SEED) Neo in Gundam SEED DESTINY is very unusual too... Although it's pretty obvious who he is... Given away somewhat in the 2nd opening, and entirely in the 3rd...

But it DOES. Malik, like some other demons, was assimilated at one point into Egyptian mythology (by Amun-Ra worshippers no less), as malicious spirits. So, like Ishizu (Japanese phonetics for Isis), Malik's name comes from Egypt.
