Well, me and my friend were just chatting when he told me about a new amazing forum script. At first it looked just like an ordinary forum script but on close examination, it proved to be much better than PHPBB, MyBB and SMF in both appearence and features. I really love it and I think this will be the new forum script of the generation. What are your comments about IceBB? It has a superb admin panel, a decent Layout and some rocker features.

I've tried IceBB. Greg swears by it. I personally can't see where it's that great. It's beautiful on the user-end, but the admin panel is terrible IMO...

the layout does remind me of vb. i think i'll try it since invision is no longer entirely free and vb is not free...im kinda tired of phpBB..and it is always fun to try new stuff

hmm....well the few things I dont like about it is the default font is WAY too big and it's hard to edit the templates

I'll start swearing by it too if it gets any better. I like it and the Admin Panel is 100 times better than a SMF or PHPBB panel BTW. The only thing IceBB can't touch in class, style or features is vB. It is a blend of IPB and vB.
Saul, the default font is the same size as vB. I can't get what's wrong with this.

i was usind this script like a week ago, is good, but it still have many bugs, so i recommend to wait for it to go gold.

IceBB has been around for awhile, so even teh beta is pretty good though...

I agree with Paul. The beta version is really stable and it's Open-source too. So if you know PHP, you can start editing and customizing it as much as you want.

Greg's been going on at me about this one too o_O. Just a free version of Invision, I don't see where it's so good though. I still think SMF > all.
