Well, I saw a lot of them on TV and my friend had them on DVD and he let me borrow them.

I didn't really like the whole Relena/Heero pairing that much. She liked him because he was dangerous. I like the couple from a short series that I can't remember the name of for the life of me. It had this dude in the military and he runs into the woman from the other side and saves her life. It's a really good version of gundam.

I don't really get to watch Seed, what's it like?
SEED is my favorite of all of them, even in front of 0083 Stardust Memory, Char's Counterattack, and Wing. It is really good, and even though you will get some dejavu from old gundam shows (like when the Archangel goes to Artimis, it is just like "Escape from Luna II" from Char's Counterattack - ship with Gundam goes to "friendly" base, finds out it is not friendly, enemy attacks, ship with gundam escapes in time, and base is destroyed). other than that, it has fresh new characters, takes place in a new world (getting rid of the Newtypes, which were getting a bit overused), and has better mecha and all that. Most of all though, i really like its story and its great characters. When i saw the last episode, i was really sad, cause it really attached you to the characters more than any other gunda show. it also showed them as normal people, and just really made you like them (hence why there is a Kira Yamato club but no Amuro Ray club [even though most people haven't seen Gundam or Char's Counterattack]). It is really good, so you should join the crew and stay up till 1AM on Friday nights/Saturday mornings to watch it, or buy it on DVDs.

yeah, i thought so too. the thing i d the most was that they had that whoel VR thing going on instead of the normal cocpit with the controls. it made it seem like they were just in a giant VR game, and i hat.ed the characters and story. it sucked all around.

yeah, the 08 MS Team was really good. it was one of the better UC shows. and i wouldn't suggest getting Wing on DVD; rather, i would get SEED. As good as Wing was, it did have its fair share of problems. In addition, i have seen 3/4 of all Gundam shows, and SEED is by far the best. you would really be missing something by not getting SEED. Trust me, go with SEED and you won't be disappointed. of course Wing is good also, so if you really want it, its not a bad choice.

I thought Flay and Sai could have made a great couple... it's a shame that Flay got interested in Kira. I felt very sorry for Sai.

Some people are saying that there will be something a sequel to Destiny since there's only like 5 or 6 episodes left and nothing is really happening.

Mwu looks so evil... ;____; I know all about this already 'cause one of my friends from this other forum told me about it.

mwu isn't evil, its just that his memory was erased. The mask is just so that his true identity isn't revealed and so that he won't have any memories of what happened in the origional. At the end of episode 43, though, he stays with Murrue because he gets clips of memories back and shows he isn't evil at all. The mask doesn't mean he's evil, it just looks freggin cool.


And Ivan, i would believe it about Destiny, because at least by this point in SEED you could tell it was drawing to a close. Destiny doesn't even seem near that. But I've heard that SEED could be the new UC series, and have a lot of shows (if you remember the UC series, which included the origional gundam, z gundam, stardust memory, war in the pocket, and a bunch of others). This may be true especially since SEED seemed awefully close to UC's first show, the origional Gundam.

Welcome to the club. I've only seen a couple episodes of Destiny so I can't tell you which one I think is better. But SEED was really good.

I still say SEED was much better. Destiny started off as a crappy series with the plot taken from the beginning of SEED and evolved into a story where there are main characters on two opposing sides, and the "good sides" are fighting against each other.

actually, if your as dedicated as me, and have seen almost every Gundam series, Wing is a flop. It honestly is - the episode summarry writer for MAQ put it perfectly - "Overall, I think this series had a lot of potential, but it wasted it with poorly developed characters and a thin plot of evil organization after evil organization appearing to challenge the Gundam pilots. Also, most of their talk about pacifism and war makes no sense. It does at some times, but most of the time it's just babble to make the series seem more intellectually refined than it really is."

And with the introduction of mobile dolls, it took away from the whole "war and sacrifices" feeling the other gundam series' had created. It could've been better, but needed some work; even the conclusion felt very rushed, and should've had more story to set it up. Good idea, but it was executed badly.

wow - that is exactly how i felt. they were so touching - the morning i watched the last episode after i finished it, i was speechless. It was really sad. After seeing that, Destiny is nothing. SEED had a much better story.

And hi. I started watching Gundam Wing on Cartoon Network, to be brief. (Which reminds me, I need to find the opening for Wing.) Then they took it off air and I kinda forgot about it. Later, a friend's subbing group began releasing Gundam X. I got fairly into that, until they dropped the series, which, again, was when I forgot about the series. Now, for the past several months, I've seen people running around PC with avatars/banners from Gundam SEED (and SEED Destiny). So I finally decided to start watching it a few days ago, and now I'm hooked.
