Basically, that's what they looked like when I got done with them. Now I just need to learn how to make coats out of furs <_<;

You can't really glue chinchilla pelts without ruining the fur, ya know. =P The fur is why people hunt chinchillas in the first place; if you damage the fur, then you've got a worthless chinchilla skin or something like that.

Chinchillas aren't carnivorous and/or naturally aggressive, so they aren't really that dangerous.

I sewed chinchillas together the first time I tried to make a coat, but I forgot that they were alive. My coat wriggled too much so I donated it to Goodwill.

You're supposed to kill and skin the chinchillas first before making the coat, Chairman. O_o; That would've solved your other dilemma regarding your living chinchilla coat as well.

Ahh, makes sense. The problem was, my only instruction manual was in Portuguese so I ended up having to wing it. My next coat will be somewhat less alive, I hope.

I saw one too...I think it cost $100 o_o; I've seen chinchillas for far less at flea markets, but I would never recommend buying an animal from a flea market. Odds are you aren't going to want to know where it came from o_O

Yeah, a rat coat is the only type of coat guaranteed to give you the plague...the same would happen with chinchillas but they give them a lysol bath first XD

Ever hear of popcorn chinchilla? Basically, they take baby chinchillas and deep-fry them to a golden brown and slather them in a spicy southwest batter. You can get a bucket for a few pesos down in Argentina~

I'm afraid Ivan's right, Julia. Chinchillas, like other rodents, have short life spans, and I really don't think chinchillas can live to be 14.
