I'm far from done, but I'd like to go ahead and get some input on what I have completed. Any advice? I'd really appreciate some right about now. One thing I've always had a hard time with is making those gosh darn jaggity edges smooth... =\

It looks nice so far. Only problem I can spot is that it's hard to tell what the light source is. Work on that. Also, black for an outline is pretty bad, unless you're a pro... which I'm not, but, umm, yeah >>

Yeah,look at the light source. Why is it highlighted in the back? o_o And yes,as Drake said also,you could fix the black outline..XD

Originally I was going for an all-around light source, but that obviously looked weird. Here is the editted image:

Alot better,but still I would change the black outline. Other then that it's fine.

If you're going to make it anime then you could strengthen the shadows on the right hand side of the hair and then the face. Put shadows on where the hair blocks out the light source on the face as well.

Exellent Face though!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Hm, I think the shape of the head is a little odd. It's way out of proportion with the rest of the face, and it's bothering me o.o;;

The black outline doesn't really bother me -_-'

Pretty good :)

I suggest shading the face a little. It looks kind of flat and you want it to go with her hair. That is if it's a girl XD (jk)
