Public Prison

Circled by strangers,
Caged in
Within the Public Prison

We are the crime
To the eyes of the masses
I am the unjust

Is their truly safety in the many
Protection from yourself,
An absence of derision

The bad influence,
Immoral
I am not the one drenched in shame

The crowd has forced me to the edge
The last step my next,
Escape wont be denied,

The mass revealed the path
Gave the blade
This prison is the answer

The others are right, there is a deep meaning to this...unfortunately my brain if fried from being outside in the sun for too long. XD But I'll take a whack at it. X3

Public prison...this poem seems to not necesarily be talking about an actual prison cell, but more a state of mind, so to speak. ^^ You feel as though everyone looks down upon you and pits the blame of every bad event on your shoulders.

Or it could be the fact that the person in question in this poem had done something awful. They had done some truly horrible deed and others were beginning to suspect them of that crime. The convict can almost hear everyone's foreboding thoughts and realizes that prison is truly where he belongs.

Whether that's at all what your poem was about, it was still wonderful. :33 Great work Sithre, I really enjoyed reading this one. ^^
