why have giga drain when sceptile already has the best grass attack "leaf blade"?

i like this umbreon. baton pass to something with white herb to raise speed back up. great physical tank and can take a couple sp.atts. just mean look a physical sweepert, curse up, baton pass to something with white herb, and then sweep away.

A sweeper doesn't need a recovery move, a sweeper is about to sweep.
I'd suggest this set for Sceptile:

Leaf Blade
HP Ice/Thunderpunch
Dragon Claw/Crunch/Substitute
HP Fire/Endeavor/Leech Seed

HP Ice is better than Thunderpunch because it can hit ground types, too.
If you can't get Hidden Power Ice, then try to give it T-punch.
Dragon Claw and Crunch do a good damage to almost everything, though you can go with Substitute if you go with Leech Seed as a last move.
HP Fire if you can't get HP Ice. Endeavor against pokemon with a high hp. Leech Seed (some kind of "recovery move" lol) with Sub and Petaya berry held.

For Umbreon... use the following set which was posted by Mullet several times:

Wish
Baton Pass
Toxic
Mean Look

Wish Passer and Toxic Trapper.

Thanks for the help. btw I have giga drain on Sceptile for a recovery move. sceptile has low defences so it won't survive much more than two attack plus giga drain has low pp and its attack power isn't the best so your giga drain might help you stall for one turn well here's my sceptile suggestion:

Leaf blade
Thunder punch
Dragon claw/crunch
anything you like :D.

for umbreon, sorry I've never trained an umbreon in the advance versions (mainly because I don't have a gamecube and a GC/GBA link cable)

Sceptile is easily fixed. But this Umbry...

Use Toxic if you want a HP Drain, Moonlight/Wish if recovering HP is a target.
