Rate da layout! - Crystal Version

Hey guys, I just made a layout for my site so I need you to rate and give me some ideas on how to improve it, oh and please help on choosing the colors for boxes and bg. Here you go:

Don't use animation like that, it's distracting, something less intense might be okay though.
And the red in the banner really contrasts, but IMO it's too much too look at.
You can't really read the banner too.
So just fix up the banner I guess. xD
I like the design though.

I would say like this: To bright in the first place, -1, then the text is unreadable, -1, then the animation is distracting, which makes the layout not so good, -1, Now, we come to the navbars, do not use the same navbar as banner, use something else, -1, so and now.

The text is kind of hard to read, especially the "Southern Kingdom" part. It's a little too simple.

I give it a 7/10

-Give it a different bgcolor bu keep the table bg's white
-Colorize all the GFX to be a darker blue
-Get rid of the animation in the banner
-Make the name of the site on the banner easier to read.
-Also on the text take out Layout #1 and just keep "Southern Island: Crystal Version"

Other than that it is good....
