Smeargle (F) @ Lefties
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Def / 252 Sp. Def
Timid Nature (+ Spd, - Atk)
- Ingrain
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Substitute
Made for a slow death.. I know the move set is more suited for a grass type, but I don't want the chance of a fire type beating the pulp out of it, besides, I'm not especially fond of grass types...

sorry but i fail to see how that can possibly work... especially if the opponent switches in a grass type then you can't do anything against it... and anything with sub and is faster than smeargle also beats it to death. this set is no good.
if you want to use leech seed, use a grass type. and if you don't like grass types, learn to love them because they certainly can outdo smeargle when it comes to leech sub.

no, smeragle's too slow, isn't durable, and this set does nothing to grass types. stick with a standard set.

Main problem is that it lacks defenses and HP. It dies if the opponent isn't incapacitated (spore)

...you serious kid?
absolute maxed Sp.atk Smeargle(no stage boosts) with Psychic on minimal defense Heracross(one of the most common fighting types)
Minimum Damage 29%
Average Damage 31%
Maximum Damage 34%
Heracross with Max attack(no stage boosts) with Brick Break on minimal defense Smeargle(any other kind?)
Minimum Damage 232%
Average Damage 252%
Maximum Damage 273%
Heracross is faster, so Psychic is out.

The only thing I see Smeargle is good for is as a BPer with a Sponge on your side using Follow Me. When Smeargle BPs Sponge uses Psych Up. However, the only Pokes that learn Follow Me are Togetic, Furret and Clefable, with the first only able to use it effectively. Here are the Movesets.
Smeargle --|-- Togetic
EVS Def, Sp.Def --|-- Evs SpDef HP
Baton Pass --|-- Follow Me
Dragon Dance --|-- Psychic
Calm Mind --|-- Calm Mind
Substitute --|-- Counter
Tell me how this Is!!

Sandstorm comes before Leftovers/Ingrain, and how would it not die from QA?

It's too bad Smeargle is faster than a tar.
But neither why, it's going to die.

possibility, but your dending too much on luck for this set. spore puts em to sleep, but you dunno for how long. and once they're spored, you'll be met with a hazer(vaporeon/weezing) cus most of the more experienced players know that smeargle will prolly have ingrain...
