I am not that good at poetry, but...I decided to try again...

We save the people that are on the brink of death
We save the people that are on the brink of insanity
We save the people that are on the brink of sadness

We think it is for their own good
We think it is for their own sake
We think it is for their own protection

Yet, we never actually think about how those people feel

We don't think about if they wanted to die
We don't think about if they wanted to go crazy
We don't think about if they wanted to be sad

We thought it was for their own good
We thought it was for their own sake
We thought it was for their own protection

Yet, we never think about how those people feel

We think about protecting ourselves
We think about protection our society within ourselves
We think about how much we are terrifed of those people

Our own society...
Is afraid.
And, not just...of them...but also

WE

We have built these walls
We have built these dams
We have built these armies

We, our own society,
We See these things as good
We, our own society knows, what they are

WE

We have built these walls
We have built these dams
We have built these armies

We escape death
We cheat insanity
We trimph over sadness

But, not because we are
a whole society
Because, we are afraid of the

Other we,
Inside of us,
Which we

Always contain
Because we
Are afraid

Of the other we
Inside of us
Which will set us free

Nice poem.. OO I must say that you did an amazing job on this, and you pretty much outlined what our society is and what it tries to do to people to "help" them while all the while, most of us are a little like that inside but more tucked away.

From start to finish the message is clear and effective great job ^^'
