Any Words Of Wisdom?

I recently started spriting, I like it. I like it alot, even though I am new. Here are my first Pokemon fusion/revamp/etc. and wondered if you could rate them, and them tell me what I can improve on.

Thoughs look great! I can't believe you just started spriting! The shading could use a little work but other then that they rock. :D

Thanks. One of the reasons why the shading on the Poliwrath is so bad, is because they used a blue scale, and a grey scale, which I think threw me off. After I have some more time, I'll go back and fix that.

Hey...those are pretty good for a person who's still new to it. O.o You actually use shading, and recolor the outlines...and the new parts on the sprites don't look like they're just pasted on...

I like the colors on them. ^^ Nice and bright. The only things I could possibly mention are to make sure the outlines go all the way around the sprite (the tip of Poliwrath's one foot looks cut off, since it's missing a darker outline there), and to make sure that all spots are recolored...since Poliwag still has a spot of its original color on its foot. ^^;;

Other than that, good job with these! :D

That's the improvement over the original. I aslo put the regular Poli sprites in, for you to compare. Over my first attempt I fixed Poliwag's foot, Poliwrath's foot, and tried to improve the shading on the Poliwrath.

They seem really good. What pokemon did you take the orange from? or did you make the orange shades yourself?
Oh and..they are missing their third color...they should have 3 shades..Owell Good for some of your first :3

Thanks. I believe the Orange shades are from Scizor. When inspecting them, I also thought there was a shade lacking from it; there are 3, but that is including the outline.

Edit: I must have been real tired when I did this. I missed a whole shade. :surprised

Pokemon-style sprites have 3 shades, not inclding the outline. If you add any more, it'll make them look not in the style, but overshaded sprites have a certain flair to them.
They're very good, especially for some of your first. the shading on Poliwrath could still be improved, though.
