When this all began
I had a friend
She was the best thing to happen to me

Then I met another
Who thought like me
We were in love and it was grand...

Today marked the day
My original friend left
I cry and cry...

Like the saying says
an eye for an eye
I gain something only to lose...

It's not all bad, but
Then again it is
While I gain love, I lose a friend...

but time heals all...
