Leader of the Pack

[Abskull]

Well, this is the first time I'm sharing one of my poems with you. I take a poetry class, so I think I've got some idea ^^;.

A grey wolf leads his pack
Beyond the trees
Beyond the river
Into the rough terrain of the mountains
Cool wind gently blowing his fur
Once the pack makes to the peak of the tallest mountain
A spring awaits them
As they drink the cold water
They savor it
For it could be the last drink they have for miles
The crisp taste cooly goes down their throat
And they move on
2 miles later
They find a moose
They then take it down
And the smell of blood fills the air
The leader steps up and takes a bite
The sound of tearing fleash sounds in the pack's ears as they devour the moose
After they finish their prey
They steadily move
Once night falls
They settle in a valley
As the moon rises and the sun sets
The leader starts off the chorus of howling
Soon, all the wolves join together
Howling at the moon
Their long journey has come to an end
Time to rest

I feel like a leader in the Poetry forum....people here love most of the stuff I've done (with the exception of The Dragon's Spire...that was a bust...and I felt that too...)
