Entei vanished, for some odd reason...???

ok, i was fighting entei with my azumarill and he roared at me and i ran away and i haven't been able to find him since nor does he show up on my radar. what happened? my friend always gets roared at by suicune and it still shows up on his radar. any idea if he vanished for good or what? ack it makes me mad lol

You sure you didn't kill him?

The dogs only show up in the Kanto region. If you're checking the location for the dogs while you're in the Sevii Islands region, it won't show up.

After beating the islands (if you have), did you defeat the Elite Four a second time when they're stronger? I'm not sure if this will really matter though.

yea i beat the elite 4 round 2 to level, its just weird tho.

Heck did u save the game after it roared at you? Entei disapears from your radar if it roars at you. Its not like pokemon G/S/C or R/S where the the legendary dogs or Latios/Latias continues apearing on your radar after it runs. But wat I did was run away the first time I saw Entei and its whereabouts came up on my radar. Pretty hard decision actually. I could have just used the Masterball I saved for him.

Actually I don't think this will affect anything in the game, Demonchaos. You don't need to beat them a second time when they're stronger. I only had 5 Hall of Fame data by then and I only got my National dex after my fifth Pokemon League victory.

A K.O.ed Pokemon can't use Roar. And the pokedex shows the Maps of Sevii Islands and Kanto together, so you can get the radar signal even at Sevii Islands. And no the dogs don't only show up in Kanto. My friend corrupted his game data and his Raikou appeared at Island One at Treasure Beach. Well his data was corrupted anyway......

Entei doesn't vanish unless ya either KO'd it or forgot ta save tha game. Tch, if ya didn't kill it indeed then ya just have ta find it one more time... >_<

seriously man, it disappeared lol. oh well, i transfered some of my guys to my emerald and the rest to my buddy's pokemon box so im restartin. i want suicune lol. and this time im gonna master ball the fool.

Well, for the case in which he's not sure he KO'd it or not, but by this last post he just made that theory seems ta drop -- he seems pretty sure that he didn't.
Have ya looked its location up tha PokéDex?

Actually...the theory with the beasts using Roar and having them disappear forever is true. Someone messed something up in the FRLG games, and when Entei/Raikou use Roar, they disappear from the game completly. Now, I haven't found Entei in my game yet (since I haven't played FRLG since like May :P) but from what I've been hearing from a lot of people, and some places...is what I stated above...that they will disappear after using Roar. (I hope I am right...or else I'm going to sound like a huge fool. :P But..I have heard this happening a lot from a lot of different people from different places.)
