Leaving Me

Minutes go by
The minutes turn into hours
The hours add up into days
The days then become months.

Have you forgotten us all?
Did you forget how to write
Forget how to call?
Just let us know that you still care.

I miss the way it was before.
Back when we never had to say good-bye
Good-bye seems so final now
I wonder if this will be the end of the visits.

I don't know if you will stop loving me
Or if you will stop thinking of me
I don't know if you still care for me.
But I do know that I miss you.

I wish I could speak to you
Just for a minute
Just to say how much I care about you
And how you hurt me.

But the call must be yours
I don't want to bother you anymore.
It may make you stop caring
If you haven't stopped already.

So talk to me, now
Tell me what's going on
How can you just say good-bye
And walk off with no intentions of returning?
