Well I haven't been on PC for months but this was just so weird I had to post it. A while ago I was geting a bunch of codes to modify the pokemon egg that you receive from the lady at the hot spring. I was using my Sapphire version, and a code for a ledendary (I think I was trying to get a rayquaza) well, the code must have been either typed in wrong or just a bad code. Now I'm used to getting that question mark in a black and white circle you get when you type in a code wrong. However this one was diferant.
When it hatched it was the question mark thing, but it was RED and black. Now I know that may not be too weird, but here's the odd part. When It hatched, it was already named NG SUN. Yup you heard me, it CAME with that name. I don't remember all the details, as it happend a few months ago, but I seached through my school note book and found these notes that I wrote down when I first found it.
NG SUN, level one female, 11hp no moves, cry of a bulbasaur (yes, I went through my pokedex to find it out, and it was EXACTLY a bulbasaur cry)
Unfortunetly, I forgot to write down the code I used on my action replay. I'll try to find it.

I'm not surprised. You said you used a shiny code? I guess the red-and-black ? was the shiny version. the strange name, etc, is beyond me until you can show us the code you used. A good place for AR codes is here: www.boomspeed.com/kpdavatar

All right I found the code. It wasn't a shiny code, just a hot spring egg modifier code to get Rayquaza. When it first hatches, it will say "??????????? hatched from the egg give it a nickname yadayadayada" select yes to give it a nickname and you will see "NG SUN's nickname?"
I'm scaning my gameboy screen right now I'll post the actual code and more info later.

It's actually nothing big. I've seen the ? pokemon you are talking about before, but not red a black. It was possibly the shiny modifier code that did that. If you can find the codes do post them and I'll match them up with the ones I have for that specific action you were trying to attempt.

All right I found the codes. I didn't use a shiny modifyer bye the way.(I don't know if these codes work for Ruby)

Speak to the lady at the hot springs, she should give you an Egg. Save turn off the power then enter this on your action replay.

walk until it hatches, say yes to give it a nickname and you'll see NG SUN, to see its stats, first check another pokemon stats, then without exiting out of the stat screen go to NG SUN stats, text will scroll across the screen in its profile and then your game will freezehttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v616/bluekitsune/veryweird.jpg

I don't know why you fool around with that kind of stuff. There aren't any hidden pokemon. What you found was just a glitch, and think about it. A hidden pokemon? Why would the programmers hide a pokemon?

Yes, I know it's not hidden, but I find it odd that the glitch would have it's own name. Maybe if it's name was just a bunch of scrambled letters I wouldn't have paid it any attention, but the fact that it has a name puzzles me.

Yes, I know it's not hidden.
Okay, well read the name that you gave this thread.

"NG SUN" is probably just random letters that the glitch made or something. I admitt it is kind of suspicious that they are all letters and no mixed up shapes or glitch blocks, but It's definitely not a pokemon.

Is your game in Japanese, or do the Japanese characters just come on the screen when the game freezes?

The Japanese characters just show up. I'm pretty sure her game is in English.

Yes, my game is in English. And SRV, perhaps NG SUN was a test pokemon, kinda like missingo. The programers could have hidden it when they were done with it. Also, if anyone who has tried the code has any problems with the game after it, let me know. So far my game is fine, but I want to make sure the code is safe befor I tell more people about it.

I agree with SRV here. "NG SUN" is just randomly composed. And you said it wasn't hidden in your earlier post and now in the above post you say it is hidden.
And I never got farther than using the first three codes. It gave me a Bad Egg each time so I never tried hatching it for good reason.

I mean it is not hidden as mew, or celebi is hidden, but as something left over from the programing that was not deleted. Gosh, you guys don't have to be so mean:'(

Well even if the programmers did, it what it was won't matter since it does nothing but freeze your game. And "NG SUN" is a really odd name to give to a Pokemon. I still say it's just randomly put together by codes.

This is just another reason not to use AR~
It screws up your game.

All right, I just realized that useing this code could leave you stuck with a bad egg if you don't know how to get rid of it. So to get rid of it hatch it, then don't look at its stats, just go to the PC and release it:classic: Sorry I forgot to mention this guys. And just to let you all know, useing the code hasn't messed up my game.

I think this has gone on long enough ^^. No hidden pokemon, just a bad code.
