Its funny how it happens
When you're together for so long
Things just start to fall apart
Everything starts to go wrong
Started out with butterflies
because you were so good to me
Gave me all I wanted
fulfilled my every need
We hung out everyday
and were always on the phone
You were my everything
all emotions were shown
Then we found our rocky road
and things went up and down
one day we'd be smiling
The next day we wore frowns
We'd be okay for weeks
but then found rocks again
we'd stumble over everything
but we'd be fine in the end
bad things came more often
we hung out less and less
didn't talk on the phone much
but we still tried our best
our best wasn't good enough
because our rocks became boulders
Everything was getting worse
And to heavy for our shoulders
Smiles Hardly ever happened
Neither of us were happy
all of these things had to stop
something had to happen
So monday she left
and it seems were both okay
I try not to think about it
Even though my feelings stay
