Once upon a time..

Once upon a time in a land far away,
lived a very beautiful woman who could lead men astray.
She would drive them to her beauty which is where they would end,
No man could resist nor comprehend.


The woman was young but destroyed all who oppose,
until one man approached her to expose.
What she really was underneath,
His sword unsheath,
ready to destroy what was beneath.

With a lunge and a slash,
She was down in a flash.
Never would humans be plagued by her evil again.
Because this was never her domain.
A demon from hell was all that she was.
Draining power from men and women alike.
Killing each one with a lonely strike.

Once upon a time in a land far away,
Now isn't that just a cliche?

It would appear to me that you work best when you do it off the top of the head. It works well. This was an excellent poem. And If I see a few more excellent ones, you'll also earn my respect as being a far better poet. That is a fact.
