Pokemon: The Legendary Stone

I'm making a game with RPG Maker XP. It's called Pokemon: The Legendary Stone.

Features:

100 new pokemon.
A new region.
A CBS and a CMS.
And TV shows.
I think that the full game will have more features. Still working on it.

Storyline:
You're a boy who dreams every night about being a pokemon trainer.
And on a sunny day in the middle of the summer your wish came true!
There are two ways possible: north (to the forest) and east (to route 1).
When you're trying to leave north you'll be stopped by two police mans.
They'll say that there is an very dangerous pokemon in the forest.
There's only one way left: the way to the east.
Here starts your journey.
When you've won the 6th badge and you're on the next route,
you'll discover that an unnatural mountain is blocking the way.
You'll need to go back to the city with the 6th gym.
There is waiting nurse Joy. She tells you that the professor called for you.
So you walk, run or fly all the way back to your hometown.
A disasterous thing happend: the city is destroyed.
Nobody’s hurt because they all ran away,
but that doesn't make it less terrible.
You’ll remeber, after a long time of silence,
that the professor wanted to speek to you.
He told you that it was that dangerous pokemon from the forest.
It’s a stone pokemon, wich is really strange if he lives in the forest,
and he throws rocks to everything what he doesn’t like.
He’s moving through the forest on it’s way to that strange mountain that you saw before.
You’ll need to find out who it was.
When you’re in front of thet mountain after the 6th gym you’ll see an entrance.
The cave is just a long path that leads to the other side of the mountain.
You think that the stone pokemon will be somewhere on the way to the pokemon league.
You’ll just continue your journey.
When you’re the champion and the town is rebuild,
you’ll hear that the stone pokemon is back.
There’s only one thing left for you to do: catch that pokemon!

Answer on your question: If Squall wants...yes, else...no.

@Deagon: I've tried to find another spriteset. But when I try to download an
attachted zip file (in the resource thread, the new one), it opens up as an
empty html file :( So I think that I need to do it with this one.

More screens and pokemons come soon. Maybe can you guys think of names for
my first pokemon?

@Ultimate Latios: Thans, it looks great. Only one thing: can you make your picture a little bit smaller? The evolutions are (almost) always bigger. And if pictures are larger than 128x128, they don't fit in my batlle system.

@smarty_arty: I have a maximum size now. I've changed my pokemons size already. I've requested Ultimate Latios to do that too. I've got two pictures of my battle system just to show how small my changed pokemon is.

!!!! These pictures are ONLY to show the changed size of my grass starter. Don't tell me that my battle system is incomplete cause I now that!!!!!

I've finished the second town and I've made a very big city (I did that before I started on Pokemon: The Legendary Stone) I think that it's a little bit to big

The maps actually look great. If I had to pick something out though, it would be that the map on the right looks a bit too similar in most directions. Try adding ponds, groups of flowers, or something to make each corner, section of the map a bit more distinct.

Looks good so far but you should fill the maps with flowers and stuff. There's one thing bothering me though the fire and grass starters look almost the same.

This doesn't look like the grass starter at all (in my opinion)

@Ultimate Latios: this doesn't mean that your sprite can't be the fire starter. I'm still not sure wich one it will be.

@ChubraidermonCharlie: FOUR great sprites in only one day!!! Your really a fantastic spriter :D It would be great if you want to be my second spriter (Ultimate Latios is first now untill I hear something from squall) This doesn't mean that there's one who leads, just handy for counting my spriters :D

Maybe can we do something like a poll (just post your opinion) about wich sprite is gonna be the REAL fire starter. The other sprite will become a pokemon wich you can catch in the wild.

@Sneasel 2: That question has nothing to do with my game or game development at all! But because your new I'll answer your question (only this time!) I don't have fire red or leaf green, but i have yellow. I've caught a dratini (you can also find dragonairs there but they are really rare) in the safari zone. I believe in the fist area with a super rod. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe that that's the only place to find them.

@Sneasel 2: I don't now. I think it wil be basic attacks like scratch and growl, later on attacks like flamethrower and slash (after evolving)

@ChubraidermonCharlie: Thanks. They're cool. Only one thing about your grass starter evolution, your 5th pokemon of yesterday and your 7th pokemon of yesterday. They all look the same. Like you only changed the colors and a little bit of the details. But that doesn't matter if the sprite are brilliant :P

It took a few minutes to download your sprites (all of them) because I rename your sprites to Chub### (where ### is a number) so I can see that the sprite is yours. Maybe can you do that to. If you do, I'm ended at Chub012 ;)

I hate to point out the obvious, but Pokémon are generally based off of real animals. Some of the sprites are...blah.

However, I must comment on your maps. They are simply amazing! You are very talented in the ways of mapmaking. Keep up the work!

I had some problems with my battle system. I couldn't solve the problem so I did something else. Maybe can you guys help me? This is the problem:
I have a battle system like normal pokemon games, so your enemy is in the upper-right corner. I use a picture for the pokemon and an event behind it so I can use that to show the battle animation. When I use a battle animation, I can't see it! I think that it's shown behind the picture of the field. Now I use pictures to show but those pictures take (together) a lot of space on my harddisk. Can someone help me?

@Datriot: Just as I said in my first post I wanted to make a CMS. I first tought that I could do it in script but that wasn't that easy. So I decided to make something else. Still a menu but without scripting. And this is how it worked out!

Grass/Ground
Prehistoric Dinosaur
Rasstor lives mainly in jungle. This pokemon likes climbing trees, but is far too heavy for it. When it climbs tree, it fells to ground.

I made also icon and backpick, because I didn't know that they are required or not.

no offense, but that fire starter looks likes a puppy dog on fire, well to me it does anyhow kutgw (keep up the good work) i have a feeling this will be great. i like that really large city.
