Here's my idea. I start out by posting a single sprite comic, then someone else posts another comic that continues the idea of the previous comic, and so on. Here are the guidelines:

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU READ THESE RULES. EVERY ONE OF THEM.

1. You must use this template:

Or, if you feel it doesn't suit the type of comic you want to do, you can alter it accordingly, by making it bigger, adding more panels, etc. Use your imagination. I would advise keeping the information at the top intact, however. Just be sure you add you own name.

2. No doing something stupid like ending the comic out of spite or ignoring the continuity of the storyline. The comic must always pertain to the two main protagonists, who you'll meet in a bit.

3. You can add your own characters, but try to use reasonable judgement with this. Don't add a ton of new characters. Also, make sure you add a spritesheet of some sort, so the next person doesn't have to dissect your comic to reuse them. Participating in this comic will most likely require you to do some sprite editing.

4. Use a style that you want to use. My strip, for example, features trainer battle sprites as characters. The next person can draw their characters by hand, or use the traditional map Pokemon sprites. Do whatever you want, just make sure the story is linear.

5. Don't worry about getting your hands on sprites or fonts. Just improvise with what you have or are willing to create yourself.

6. Before you post a strip, make sure you make a post declaring that you want to go next, so that we don't have people trying to make comics and get beaten or overlapped by someone else and being forced to start over.

7. MAKE SURE YOU'VE READ EVERY ONE OF THESE RULES.

I'll start us off:

and here are the sprites I used. Remember, you can feel free to edit them, or if you don't want to use battle sprites, make your own.

They're from R/S, I think. But one of them is edited, so you'll likely have to do some editing yourself.

You might want to add a rule that says "no putting text under the strips instead of in them."
