The Narrative Poem Game!

Here's how this game works:

I will give two lines of a story, and you guys have to write two lines to continue the story, all the way until the story ends. Then we start again with a new story.

HOWEVER, your lines need to rhyme with the previous posters and it must make sense.

Example:

First poster: As we discover our heroes walking on the road,
We have to wonder...what sort of adventure awaits them today?

Second poster: Why, they must've found a trainer in trouble, I'd say!
Ash approached the girl and he asked what was wrong...

etc.

Here's your first two lines:

As our heroes continue to walk on the road,
It's been three days--and May's starting to get bored...

Ash assured May as the gang set up camp...

Wetting his backside since the ground was so damp.
'Does anyone have a towel?' Ash did inquire...

But before a towel could arrive, Ash fell deeper into the watery mire!
Now he was completely soaked head to toe...

May showed up with a towel
But it turned out to be a big fat bow!

"Oops, wrong thing" May blushed as she searched through her bag,
Filled with odds and ends and old food that made the others gag...
