Hey! What's up! Well summers basically gone for me. But I did so many sprites this summer and I'm here to showcase them. Oh yeah, lots of them haven't even been in the spriters lounge.
I got tutorials, templates, trainers, overworlds and buildings all crammed into one thread.
First are the gyms

Then a Pokemon center fushion

And I was so bored once that I even mostly remade this screenshot from LOZ Link's Awakening DX

Oh and the Great Sprite Showcase

Whalaaa!
On the top right: backsprites from an original series of mine called the Night Troupe. I do sprites of them just to get to know them. With them is a template for you spriters so you dont have to be struggling with May/Brendan/Red/Blue backsprites. Now you can make 'em the easy way.

Second down is a revamp of GSC Clair, a Chigusa sprite and a trainer sprite of me.

Third down are backsprites of some of my favorite Pokemon characters
And at the botton is kind of a visual tutorial on how I sprite. But here's a quick rundown
1 Do the lineart (if the lines overlap, do them in separate colors)
2 Color all lineart that is supposed to show black
3 Lay down the base colors
4 Color the lineart where the shading will be
5 Do the shading where the special lineart is
6 Finally add hilights and then you're done

Middle is a sprite of me cosplaying as Tropius, one of my top five favs.
Above me are flower tiles
And to the right is a large Clair sprite and the template I made to help myself sprite easier.
Please comment and feel free to use my templates and give credit so people know where to find the templates. And I hope the tutorial helps spriters
Note: the lineart isn't Nintendo-styled, it's my style and so is the lack of half tone-blending.
Enjoy!

Well, I can do a backsprite tutorial cuz they're easy but other than that, absolutely NO requests cuz I never do them anyway.

HotS needs more of this stuff
THANK YOU!
All you see these days are fusions, recolors, chaos, revamps and dark Pokemon sprites. Why dont those spriters try to advance to something more challenging? Customs are a nice break once in a while but it seems you almost never see the kind of spriting I do like the buildings and the tilesets and the trees.
