All you Nintendo fans have no doubt heard of the upcoming Gameboy Micro. I was just curious as to how many of you will be getting one. I myself have actually thought through about it, and I've decided I will be getting one. Yes, I know that there is nothing new to the Micro. The only difference is its size. But the thing is, I love it. As a Gambeboy freak I've out played my GBA to the extent to where it's screen is so scratched up I can barely see the game I'm playing. Sure I have a DS, and I know they play GBA games, but it's just a bit too bulky for my pocket and I'm all about beign able to slip my handheld into my pocket. And with the Micro I'll be able to do just that and not even feel it (or so I've read). I'm almost positive there are some of you think,"What a loser. He's wasting his money." I don't think I will be, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a Micro. Now I wanna hear from you.

I'm not getting it. My GBA is in perfect condition, and...OMG! IT'S PINK!!!!!! (Don't ask, just on a random mood today)

I don't have the DS, but want the PSP instead, so why bother getting a Mini when its just a GBA, yet smaller, when you have all these other great handhelds out? Besides, I'm too fond of my GBA to let it get replaced by the much smaller GBA Mini. If I could, I'd call it the new baby sibling and the older one gets casted aside. Just from my point of veiw.

No. My SP works fine for me. I don't want a new GBA, not when I have two GBAs that work perfectly. I want to save up my money for a DS. ^^;;

That would be my faceplate if I was getting a GBM.

But no I'm not getting one unless it's as a gift. I done got a GBA, SP and a DS. Really no need for me to spend 100 dollars to get a new GBA when I done got two (GBA and DS) and a DS.

Anyway this goes in Other Games.

Nope. It's probabally going to be hard for people with big hands to press the little buttons. I don't have 100 bucks to spend on something I already have. Besides.. it's probabally gonna break if I hold it in my pockets.. *Pictures GBA Micro snapping in his pocket*

GBA too small for your jeans? $100 can get you like six pairs of jeans with pockets big enough for even the bulkiest handheld. That's economics for you =D

I could see myself buying one if they had wireless connection like the link cable thing, but it doesn't. It's just a gimmicky thingie.

I won't get it. It's a waste of Nintendo's time! The only thing I'd get it for is as a second GBA for trading.

I think it looks awesome. But I'm not gonna get one. I love my old GBA to much, evern though it had scratches and stuff it's still awesome.

There is no real point to the Micro, IMO it is just Nintendo's way of stalling and milking fanboys for all their money. Nintendo is the only one to not reveal any games for their "new system". Not to meantion we haven't got any different info on the system. The Mircro is just their way of saying look at this don't look at the system that may or may not come out.

The GBA sp is the best handheld so far, better than the PSP and DS...the micro is like a downgrade from the regular GBA.

Im not getting one. If it was of 50 bucks, i will have thinked. But 100 bucks only for another gba, i prefer the sp than that one.

well, I might, only after I've already bought the other three games I'm waiting for, my GBA is scratched and I need one with a light screen, so why not go with one thats small? I would be gettign a new game boy soon anyways. but I'd have to say I dont trust my friend with one, he whacked his head and smashed his GBA screen, then dropped his SP so half the screen doesn't work.

I just don't get it...why pay $100 for a new GBA when you could get a DS for thirty dollars more? I mean, neither of them are great deals, but if someone's bent on it, they might as well go the extra mile and have an entirely new system x_x;

Reply "but my pockets are too small!" and you've fallen into Nintendo's trap...trend-consciousness is never worth what it costs to maintain.

I'm absolutely NOT getting one.
It's just a waste of money, so it's much smaller and has a backlight, it doesn't have backwards compatibility and I like seeing big screens.
Besides my GBA, GBASP, GBC and DS are working perfectly *is doubting her GBPocket*
And the GBASP is small enough! What's next, a paper-thin Gameboy that's waterproof *wants one*

I might get one, I like how small it is and it's sexy design.

But seriously, I don't know why, I probably would end up not using it! Maybe it's just a craving to have each version of the Gameboy since it's release...

The Micro is just an SP in a different casing, so no. I don't need anything smaller than my SP, because my pockets are big enough to carry my SP very easily. XD I'm saving up for a DS instead.

*displays reasons why I should/not get it*

I'm going to have to say no. Why? Because, I already have a gameboy. There's really no plus side to it. It's just smaller. If I were going to get it....I'd use it for it's value fifty years later. Or my nintendo Collection. *glees*
