Mayotte Madness [PG-17 possible]

All right, my apologies for the crappy name, but its late here. o.o

Mayotte Industries is a company that licenses many animes for translation, technology, videogames, and research & development. Think 4Kids meets Sony. Now, though it is a top-secret venture, Mayotte industries is developing a new process, in which fictional characters can actually be brought to life! However, they only bring back a "shell" that must recieve a human mind before it's anything other than a braindead body. However, this process has only been completed successfully twice so far, and right now they're searching for potential subjects.

This story starts in the waiting room of the coorperation, on the first true test of this process. All of our characters either have friends or relatives in the coorperation, who not knowing exactly what the process is, pulled every string they could to get us involved in this test. We've gone in firmly believing that we were about to beta test some new videogame or poduct, or perhaps give an opinion on an anime dub, we have no real idea just what we're going to be doing...

Abilities n'stuff: Mana- Her human form is Mana, and barely has any power. When she feels she needs to protect, she changes into Dark Magician Girl.

Dark Magician Girl- In this form, Mana has access to her full magical potential, like spells such as Dark Magic Attack, and has the ability to float in the air. Also, it MAY be possible to fuse her with other cards temporarily in this form, but its unknown if possible.

Looks: BMG(attached) Kadara: Practically identical in shape and style to Mana, however her skin is pale, and her hair is jet black with a few dark green streaks in it. Rather than a fantasy outfit, however, when in her human form, Kadara simply reverts to ordinary, modern-day clothes.

Description of character's abilities, and anything else unusual: Kadara has some slight power, but not much. However, the process which made the black magician girl was closely linked to that of the dark magician girl, and there were some data gaps, so they're not sure what powers this body will have, nor how it's power will react to that of the black magician girl.

IC: I blinked as I slowly became aware, and sat up from where I was slumped into a chair. Looking around, I saw we were in the same waiting room, when I sudden;ly remembered what happened. We had been outside, sitting in the hall, before they directed us into this room, where myself, David, and Akee had been sent. It was taking ages, and I was just about ready to get up and leave, when I started to feel dizzy, and then, darkness.

I snapped back to reality, and looked around, just to see what looked like three janitors wheeling out stretchers that had bodybags in them. "Hey, what's going on he..." I started, standing up angrily, but trailed off into silence, as I heard te voice. That was not a good sign. It was higher pitched, but not queaky, and the intonation was different, so I couldn't have inhaled helium... I looked down at myself, and nearly fainted again. I managed to stay conscious, but my knees gave out, and I slumped back into the chair with a hard thump. I weas wearing a girl's mini-skirt jet black, and a matching, tight T-shirt with a pink heart on the center of the chest, that revealed so much of the midriff, it almost revealed my chest, which filled out the shirt rather well...

"Bleh... My head..." I moaned as I finally snapped to for the second time in the past 5 hours or so. This time, I found myself sitting in front of a table, a girl and a guy sitting nearby. Something sounded funny though... my voice. I pretended to cough, but it sounded the same -very high pitch from what it was before- What had happened in that room?

I glanced down at my outfit and almost screamed. I was wearing a low cut, low bottomed top that revealed as much as the other girl's T-shirt, as well as a short skirt that was made in the same style. The outfit was cream in colour and had a gold trim. I also had an odd gold belt-like object around my waste, and an odd gold necklace, both of which reminded me of Egypt. Worst of all... I had a female chest!? "What's going on here!" I yelled, demanding an explanation.

At the sudden noise, I looked back at the girl, and noticing her figure, I felt a sudden warmth spreading through me... I quickly shook off the feeling, and said "That's what I want to know. Last thing I remember in coming in here to test something, then I conked ou-" At that moment, the door opened again, and a professional looking man, seemingly of japanese heritage walked in and sat down oposite us. "Hello, I'm Doctor Sparrow. Tell me, do any of you feel any pain, or inhibitions?" I leaned forward, and grabbed him by the front of his stark-white labcoat, and growled "Unless you tell us what's going on, I'll give you some inhibitions..."

He didn't respond immidiately, but instead pulled a syringe from an inside pocket of his labcoat, and jabbed it into my wrist before putting it back. I didn't evenhave time to flinch, as the warmth spreadthrough me again, and I was practically forced to sit on my hands to keep from reaching out at the girl. My face immidiately flushed a bright red with emberasment, though I was still angry. "You've been subjected to a new, state of the art process. I'm not sure if any of you recognize your new forms or not, however, you now posess the bodies, and abilities of three different characters from two animes in paticular."

I paused a moment, then said "New forms?" That meant the girl that made me have to sit on my hands to keep them to myself was someone I knew? Oh god, I hoped it was Akee. I didn't feel any paticular attraction to her before, but it HAD to be better than the alternative...

"I knew I should have researched what the test was first..." I muttered as I thought about when my older sister signed me up for this, saying it'd be fine. Oh, she'd be paying for this... "So, if I'm David, that makes one of you Akee, and one is Robert?" I was so confused, and I had still yet to lay eyes on a mirror. I hadn't realized it until this moment, but my hand had been resting on a wierd staff... but that wasn't a concern right now. "I'm hungry~!" I then blurted out randomly. I was known to be random, but not that random...

I blinked, as the warmth began to fade, and felt I could move my hands somewhat safely. Mr sparrow continued taking notes, and then said "We don't have the lodging to care for you, so we'll be temporarily dispensing of you. We may check in fomr time to time for our case studies, but don't rely on us." With that parting statement, there was a blinding pain on my head, and I fell unconscious yet again. When I awoke, I was laying on a sidewalk, near a large house. Not a mansion, but definitely a BIG house. I looked around, and noticed that the boy, akee was here, and david. I knew it was david, but I immiditiately got up, and walked several steps away, because I didn't think sitting on my hands would be enough this time...

"Why is it we keep getting knocked out?" I muttered as I awoke once more, and began to take in my surroundings again. We were on the side of the road? "Hey Robert, where are we?" I asked neither in particular, since I was still unsure of who was who. I still had the staff clutched in my hand, like something bad would happen if I lost it. I then felt a sharp pain in my shoulder, and shifted my top down so that my choulder was revealed, and I saw a deep cut on the back of it. There were various others along my body, but I dared not look beyond my shoulder.

Looks: Chin length yellowish russet hair and a pair of huge emerald green eyes, Alyson appears like your dainty little damsel in distress, well, save for the mischievous glint in her eyes. She has a rather petite and slender build, and can be easily mistaken for someone younger. She wears shorts and loose shirts, nothing too fit or…girly.

Personality: Let's just say that she's reckless, boisterous, and somewhat haughty. Oh, annoying and sarcastic, too.

Description of character's abilities, and anything else unusual: A prototype 100-Series Observational Realian (synthetic human) developed to observe and contact Gnosis, an alien life form that can only be detected by a "special sense." MOMO is short for Multiple Observative Mimetic Organicus.

Um, well, she also wields a scepter. She could either whack foes with it, with her basic attacks, or use it to perform a variety of techs and spells.

"Mmmmhm...."
I stirred slightly, slowly rising from my current position on the sidewalk. Sidewalk? Since when was there a sidewalk in a building. Opening my eyes slowly, I found my left eye blocked by some long bangs-- bangs that weren't mine.
"U-uh...what's going on here?" It was then that I noticed the change in my voice-- it was deeper, more serious than my usual one. I looked frantically around me, and saw two girls, one of which looked dressed ready for a culture festival.

[Kurosaki]

"You're Akee, aren't you?" I asked the male as I used my staff to help me stand up. I had no energy for some reason... I could tell Akee was the male, since the girl had moved away, and Akee wasn't that type. "It's me, David!"

THUD!

The staff slipped out from beneath my and I hit the ground hard on my stomach. My response to thiswas sticking my tongue out immaturely to show them that I was okay... for some reason. Maybe this was just all I dream...

"Eh.... David?" I said uneasily. "Yes, it's Akee! Oh, please don't tell me.... that's... Robert?"
The idea that all three of them had switched genders was quite overwhelming.
"How did this.... happen?"

I blinked as my mind began to clear, and I looked at david again. What was I THINKING?! I heard the question, and sighed. "Mayotte did this, they said they'd be checking in on us." I said, and hought for a moment. Suddenly, a wave of panic overcame me. "What are we going to do?!" I practically yelled. "No one will recognize us, and it's not like our families would take ins tranger-" I said, but stopped as my tyrade had me facing the large house. I stopped, with my arms still held high from my raving for a few moments, then I smacked myself on the forehead. "Of course!" I said, though what I was referring to was a mystery.

[Mari]

"Gah…stupid head. Always have to—"

I quickly halted my ramblings, afraid that I might continue endlessly, as I forced my legs to stop being all shaky. I felt strangely meek and I felt as if I'd collapse any second now. Ooh, it's kinda like when you have a fever and something's hammering your head. Ugh. I don't like that feeling very much.

The world seemingly spun before my eyes as I rose from my sitting position. It took a few moments before my surroundings became apparent. I blinked. Sidewalk? I was sleeping on a sidewalk? Shrugging, I picked up my feet and searched for anyone - anyone at all - who could explain where I was. I can't remember anything and it's driving me nuts.

My ears suddenly perked up when I heard a female's voice nearby. I rushed towards the origin of the voice, grinning. There were two girls, dressed in uncanny~ish clothes, and a guy that had bangs covering one of his eyes. Hn, weird. They sorta looked familiar…somehow. They kind of looked like they popped out the TV or something. Meh, probably my imagination. Go figure.

Shaking my head, I rid of my previous thoughts. "Erm…hi?"

It was the first time I paid any attention to my voice. It was soft and childlike, definitely not mine. And it was the first time I noticed the tresses of slightly wavy pink framing my face. I twitched.

"Great... I've been turned into a girl just because my sister wanted some cash..." I sighed as I attempted to stand once more, this time suceeding. However, why am I so oddly dressed?" That was one of the many questions in which an answer was required. Another one of them being 'How am I going to live as a girl?' For that, I'd need to be taught by a girl, or something.

"Hi?" I asked back at the young girl with pink hair who appeared soon after. She was dressed in the exact opposite manner as mine -futuristic- and appeared lost. "Are you okay? Did you get lost or something?" I asked her as I bent down in front of her slightly, a concerned look on my face only a girl could have.

[Shiney]

I blinked at the new arrivals, and sighed. "David, I think I've seen that form somewhere before." I said, and paced around her a few times, before snapping my fingers. "I read about the japanese version of yu-gi-oh in a few articles. I think you're some sort of human version of the dark magician girl. I didn't pay much attention, though. Didn't he say we were getting turned into characters from fiction? Couldn't that include anime?" I asked. I wasn't thinking straight, as despite being unconscious because of being knocked out several times, it had been a stressful day... "Listen, why don't we go inside where we won't be attracting quite so many strangers?" I asked, pointing to the house, noticing how everyone who walked by gave us at least one strange look, sometimes several...

[Mari]

I disregarded my…erm…dislike towards my new pink hair and blinked in confusion as one of the uncannily dressed girls came up to me. She bent down to come face to face with me and I tried my best to keep from scowling. I'm not THAT short! When I saw the concerned look on her face, however, I found myself smiling softly, as if trying to reassure her. "I'm alright." Ack, that voice again. "I—I think I'm just a little lost." I added a little giggle, laughing at my denseness.

When I had finished speaking, I was mentally twitching…if that was possible. I-I?! I echoed in my mind. Why the heck was I stuttering? And why I was acting oh-so-timid?! I must be dreaming.

My attention then switched to the other girl. She had called her friend David, which is a really weird name for a girl, and said something about the anime Yuugiou. I also heard her say something about them being turned into characters or something like that.

I raised an eyebrow and just stared at them. "You guys are weird, you know that?"

My eye twitched as Robert revealed the identity I had taken, and I glanced down at my body, squinting so that I could only see the clothing, and not the body. He was right, my clothing was definately similar. "Come to think of it, you look almost exactly like MOMO from the game Xenosaga..." I commented as I turned my attention to the small girl once more. "Looks like we're all in the same situation, we better go inside like suggested..."

"Yes, let's get inside," My voice said again. Why did men have such deep voices? It was stupid.
"I do think I reconize some of you from anime, come to think of it! Let me see--" I stepped forward, tripping over my feet, and fell-- right into the arms of David. A lound popping noise, as if a small explosion had taken place, was followed by a puff of blue smoke, clouding my eyes as the world seemed to grow larger before me...

I twitched, a vein pulsing in my forehead as I saw akee dissapear in a puff of smoke, and a seahorse appear in David's chest. I clenched my fist, and not noticing as my hair became pale, my skin dark, and my clothes changed to some sort of revealing red armor, a staff appearing in my hand. "Will you perverts just hurry up and GET INSIDE?!" I practically roared, frustrated by now, and pointing my staff at the gate, it shattered into dust, and the door a ways up the long driveway opened. I turned to the new girl, and bowed politely. "Hello, I'd reccomend that we get inside off of the street, if you've been through the same stuff as us, I can explain it all once we're inside." I said, gesturing to the door.

[Kurosaki]

"Gah! I need to get it out!" I yelled as I took a gulp and reached down my shirt, quickly removing the seahorse, my face beat red. My chest had actually felt quite soft, but it still sent a bad vibe down my spine! "And what the hell... did you just do to that gate...?" I muttered at her in her new appearance before quickly making my way inside. When she had changed though, a sharp pain had appeared in my head. Though it wasn't so bad now, it was still there.

I blinked, the gulped as she reached into her chest, then went inside. That distraction was all I needed to come to my senses, and think about what she said. I looked at the staff, then down at myself, and nearly shrieked. Getting used to those clothes earlier was bad enough, but THIS? I ran right past David on my mad dash inside. There was no way in HELL I was letting anyone see me in this...

I went round the back of the house the window was open so i jumped through i was in a kitchen so i went to the fridge nothing in there i took a glass out of the cubboard and got a glass of water .

I managed a snicker as he flew inside, the Seahorse -which was apparently Akee- in my hands. When I got inside, I filled a sink with water and put the seahorse in it. This was all to much, that stuff that was happening I mean.

I made a few involuntary squeaks, before sighing, as the cold water in the sink hit me. Wantign to speak, I tried, only producign a few bubbles. well, of course I couldn't speak, I was underwater. The flow of the past events msut have dimmed my brain. Though I knew it was risky, I lifted my thin head out fo the water and looked to David.
"Er, sorry about that," Well, at least I was-- or had been-- a girl, which made the concept less... disturbing.

As I got inside, I was able to relax a bit. Though my attention was quickly caught by the staff. It was a bright red, and the top had several rings around it, and a golden orb at the top. And rather than a simple point, the bottom was a sharp barb. Smniling, I began twirling it around expirimentally, glad of having taken kempo. Remembering david's chuckle as I ran past her, aftergoing through my drill to get aqquainted with the weight, I contrinued twirling it from hand to hand, and feigning a slip of hand, I let the point cut right across his shirt, though not even scratching the skin. "oops," I said, stopping the staff, and not even looking the least bit apologetic. "I must be out of practice..."

[Kurosaki]

I shriek was heard from throughout the house as my cream colours top floated to the ground, leaving my chest revealed. Of course, I quickly covered it with my arms, but there was more then enough time for anybody to get a look in between that. "Why... you... little..." I huffed, before the feeling of armor appeared from under my arms...

[Mari]

I snickered slightly when the one of the Yuugiou~girls, made a mad dash inside the house, and quickly followed them as the other Yuugiou~girl, David, went in with the guy-turned-seahorse guy. They said something about an anime again. And David said something about MOMO, I think, so I got curious.

As far as I'm concerned, though they were just weird. Yup, definitely weird.

Once I got inside, I plopped down on the ground near the sink – where the seahorse was – and watched the Yuugiou~girl who wasn't named David play around with a staff. She accidentally cut Yuugiou~girl~David's shirt and said an unapologetic apology.

I shrugged and raised my hand, mocking a student seeking for the teacher's attention. "Can anyone please tell me what's going on?"

Ducking under for a quick breath of water, I popped back up. Desperately trying to refrain from singing the phrase "I saw someone's goodies", I choked on some water before saying, "When did you two decide to dress up? This is hardly the ti--"

CRAACK!
The sink I had been setting in burst into pieces, leaving me seated in a pool of water on the ground; a cloud of blue smoke the only thing covering my lower-- er-- body.

I blinked as I suddenly saw mana change form like I had. "Eeep-" And then I noticed that akee was back into his human shape, only the fact that now, his CLOTHES were gone! "Kyaa!" I practically yelled in shock, stumbling backwards. I fell backwards onto my rump, and by the time I hit, I was back to my other self, clothes included, thankfully. Though, now I considered this to be a bad thing, as it was david who obviously held the power, and not me...

[Kurosaki]

"Gah!" I yelped as a nude Akee appeared, causing me to revert to my normal form, a top on again... Phew.

"You're MOMO now," I told the young girl, "we aren't completely sure ourselves."

It had become evening now, and it was dark outside. I had been given a room of my own on the top floor, and I was laying on my stomach reflecting on the events of the day.

I had fallen asleep rather quickly thanks to the stress of the day. It had taken a few hours, but eventually my restless habits began showing up again, namely, my sleepwalking. Long after everyone in the house, including myself was asleep, I slipped out of the bed, and slowly shuffled my way into the room I had given to david, and as soon as I was under the covers, I relaxed again, and didn't move for the rest of the night...

[Mari]

I twitched as the seahorse turned back into his human form. Can't I just wake up from this dream? Maybe if I said "I'll be a good girl when I wake up, I promise!" someone will wake me up and tell me everything was just a big joke to stop me from being the girl-who-is-very-annoying girl.

Pfft, like that'll happen.

Rolling my eyes, I went to the room I was assigned and glanced at myself at the mirror. I sighed. Oh, great. Now I'm a little girl with pink hair. I rolled my eyes yet again, I really needed to rest.

Quickly, I jumped on my bed and continuously hoped that when I wake up, I'm me again.

Waking up, I rolled over, having slept in clothes borrowed from David. But when I turned my head, rather than the sight of David sleeping(Which I was expecting, since I had to share his room), there were two bodies in bed. Blinking in surprise, I rose and walked over, fining none other than his friend, sleeping right up against David. For a moment I pondered. I had long since figured out I had tranformed into Hatori. From what I'd researched, he could modify memories. I wondered......
Placing my hand over David's eyes and forehead, I concentrated very hard. After several minutes, the same treatment was applied to the other boy. Smiling in spite of myself. I walked back and got itno bed slowly. When they woke up, no longer would they have to worry about being male...

[Mari]

The next morning, I woke up bright and early and dragged myself to the room David and the seahorse guy was sleeping in. As I was still a tad too sleepy, I didn't bother to knock and just barged inside.

"David." I called, I could whine to Yuugiou~girl or seahorse guy, but right now, David was the only one I know. "Cook breakfast. I'm hungry."

I rubbed my eyes and neared her bed. "Come on. Wake up." When I was fully awake, I could only blink. Yuugiou~girl was comfortably sleeping against David, and seahorse guy was doing something with their forheads.

" hi " ellie said in a hushed vocie to the girl at the door

"Eek!" SLAP!
Nothing like finding a girl sleeping in bed with you to wake you up, honestly... Instinctively, I had jumped out of bed and slapped her, and was now standing in front of the bed panting, my hair sticking up every which way. I glanced over, to notice another bed, a young man in it. I was sharing a room with a guy? Since when was it appropriate to mix genders like so...

"Huh?" I asked, opening m ees drowsily. I shook my head, and suddenly brought my hand to my face. "Hey, what was that forWHATDIDYOUDOTOME?!" I asked, nearly flying out of the bed to stand in front of her. My eyes flickered to Akee, but he didn't seem to be a problem at the moment. "You pervert!" I accused. "What's the idea, dragging me into your bed while I'm asleep?!"

[Kurosaki]

"What do you mean! You climbed into the bed yourself!" I shrieked back, the staff and armor beginning to materialize on my body, and when it did, the window flew open and wind began flowing into the room violently. I hated being accused of something I didn't do most of all...

[Shiney]

I blinked, then stepped back, falling once more onto my rump, but this time, onto the bed. "Now- now Mana, d-d-don't get too upset..." I said, practically shrinking away from her. I didn't think about the strange inconsistencies that came to mind, right now, I was just terrified over what Mana would do to me...

Okay, now I'm really lost. I've noticed all their change of clothes and such, but I just can't quite get how the heck they could do that. But if they could do weird magic~y stuff, I was postive I could as well.

Ridding my thoughts for later, I sat on the ground, crossed legged. I figured I'd might as well just wait until they calm down before I whined about being hungry. It was fun seeing Yuugiou~girl look so afraid of David, too.

Seeing the frightened look on her face, I refrained from damaging her at all, and changed back to my human form almost instantly after. "Lets just get breakfast or something, okay?" I asked them as I tilted my head to one side. I had an urge to cook for some reason, let alone wear pink...
