Tales of Stardust rpg.

In a peaceful world, called Stardust, lived fifteen humans who had a sacred power. Each a different element. All the elements, kept this world safe, and easy to live in. But without there powers, the world would die. All these fifteen people, stopped working together. They started to hate each other, and soon went there sepperate ways. There powers dissipeared, and the world started on the brink of destruction. All fifteen of those people dissipeared, never to be heard of again. The people of the world of Stardust, found a way to live without the elements, but it was hard. To live, they used something called "Machinery" to run things, instead of the elements. Almost everywhere in the world, is run on this, making all the old world villages, into large machine towns.

Now, in the modern day of two thousand and five, the fifteen elements and people have been re-born. They have to ban together, to put the world to like it used to be.

Powers: Unleash Wings(able to bring out wings at will,only during the night), Flying(able when wings are out), Moon Prison (Only during night when you can see the moon, traps foe/s in a prison created from moonbeams). (I will learn these next two moves later after I've aquired the moon pendant.) Moonshock (fires a Yellowish white moonbeam from hand/s that do internal damage) and Moonblast (fires a blue moonbeam also from hands that does external damage).

(Last Night) I was walking by a dark lake with nothing visible but the moon's moonbeams on the surface of the lake. As I looked around for no reason, I see something small that radiates light from it. "Wow what a beautiful necklace." I said. As I picked it up, A blue seal appeared where my feet are and create a blue light around me. "Wh-what's goin o-on?" I said as I fell to the ground unconcious while holding onto the pendant.

Personality: Lost. Kasumi doesn't know what shes going to do. After being regected, used, bannished, hated, and tortured by everyone, she withdrew from the world. She lives trapped within her mind, though still aware of everything going on around her. Kasumi's heart is surrounded by a wall of ice. She won't let anyone get close to her ever again, and has a very negitive outlook on life. She hasn't said a single word for seven years.

How you found the necklace: Kasumi was at her favorite secluded place, on top of the highest tower in the city where the air is frigid, and her raven dropped it on her lap.
Backstory: Kasumi never had a real family. She was adopted, and abused. At school she is always the girl sitting in the back of the class, the one who no one knows, and all who do pick on her. She hates everyone and everything, except for a raven that follows her around everywhere. It has become her only friend, and they understand each other. Kasumi has a special connection with animals, and can always be found with one. At school, whenever a student sees her with one, they chase it away. No matter what they do, Kasumi won't express emotion, at least not on the outside. She hates them all.
Powers: Manipulation over ice, flight (because of the wings), and creating mists.

Zeke turned his emerald eyes upon a girl walking not far away. She seemed not to notice him, and this suited the moment. Sunlight flashed upon something around her neck. Instantly his gaze flashed toward it. It was a neckless, similar to his own. Ideas formed in his mind... Could it be that she too had powers? Debating with himself he should talk to her or not, he walked over to her.

"Do you... well... Has anything strange happened since you found that neckless?" He asked, indicating to the pendant hanging off the chain.

Sorry if I anger you. But, the mods will be even more angrier, and this really looks like an intresting RP.

Heartless beings, everylast one of them. I couldn't stand to be around them, out here in the day like this. The sun hurt my eyes and burned my skin. They were so pathetic. I could hear their thoughts, echoing in my mind. Humans didn't deserve to live. They all should be exiled, in my opinion. But, nobody asked me, nobody cared. I fingered the silver chain on my neck, watching the silvery pendant swing from side to side.

I know your uncomftorable, Corrin. So am I. We'll be to the Tower soon enough, I thought, linking minds with the Raven on my shoulder. People looked at me funny, as they always do. Of course, I didn't belong here. I was one on my own.

Amy sat on the bank of a dark lake. The moonlight fell upon her fair face. Her hands twisted around a small beaded necklace absently as she gazed across the surface of the water.

Nearby, she noticed another girl. A raven was perched upon her shoulder, and she appeared to be very angry about something.

Well, if she is, I won't bother her, Amy thought to herself, her gaze returning to the lake's glossy surface.

I could see someone up ahead, but made no attempts to speak to them or even acknowledge them. She was probably just as bad as the rest of Humankind. Pointless, cruel, enjoyment in hurting others... Hiding behind the calm face... At least it was night now. I felt more at ease, and my senses were more alert.

Corrin was almosst invisible in this darkness. His eyes looked like two blue orbs, intellegent and cunning. He looked over at the girl sitting near the water, before rising into the air and circling over them. A cold wind blew through the area, creating ripples in the water and tossing my silvery locks about. I pushed the out of my face and stood on the shore, watching Corrin reel around my head. I am alone....

"Um, hello," said the girl nervously. She was not usually addressed directly. In fact, she was not usually adressed at all.

Corrin landed on the girl's shoulder, looking at the book. His eyes sparkled mysteriously. I hand never seen him so.... friendly around others before. He twittered excitedly. I held my gaze on the three of them. They looked as though they were out of the dream as well... Corrin looked at me.

I didn't want to. I didnt want to be near them.

I shook my head slightly, ideas racing through my mind so quickly, I had no time to grasp them.

I had backed away. The only thing that would happen to either of us was suffering in pain for as long as we knew each other. There I stood, hidden in a small cluster of trees. Corrins cries rang out in the darkness, echoing around me. Pain erupted through my body. I stumbled out of the trees, twitching in silent agony.

They couldn't see me, thankfully. I lay there on the ground, in pain, emotional as well as mental. I knew my sanity hung by a few threads... I knew they were about to snap... Corrin wheeled over Amy's head, not caring whether she noticed him or not. I was in trouble, and nothing was going to come between him and me.

Then... nothing. The pain ceased. I sat up, realising my shirt was torn in the back. There was somthing there. Long, white wings fluttered helplessly. Corrin landed beside me, tilting his head.

Amy watched the crow, smiling.

"Well, hello there," she said softly, watching the crow curiously. "You're a pretty bird..." She saw the girl looking at her and blushed, turning away.

"A fantasy world?" she asked, turning to the boy. "Sounds like something out of a storybook..." Her eyes fell upon the book again. It was very familiar, in a strange sort of way.

Gender: Male

Looks: A short, skinny boy who looks very young for his age. He has tousled, shortish dark-dark-green hair with brown streaks and in the springtime a cherry blossom in in winter a cherry twig, with dark yellow-green eyes. His skin is light, and his normal outfit is bluejeans, and a camoflauge shirt with ragged edges.

Personality: He's kind of . . . demented. He lives to garden, and talks to the cherry tree in his backyard constantly. He refuses to go anywhere without a piece of that tree in his hair. He's insociable, and can even be violent sometimes. All of this, under a seemingly calm exterior.

Element: Wood

How you found the necklace: Hmm, how ironic that he found it hanging from a branch of- you guessed it- his cherry tree.

Backstory: He was abandoned by his parents as a child, left to sit in the adoption home for 5 years, and was adopted by a family who was kind, and taught him all about gardening, but was murdered in their beds soon after his adoption. Of course, he witnessed this. He was, by this time, in such a state of shock that it was unhealthy, and acquired the trait of stunted growth at the age of 10. Since his adoptive family was murdered, he was moved back into the adoption life, but found and ran away to the place where his birth parents once lived. They had moved away, as it turned out, but he didn't care. Nobody bothered him, so he stayed; he planted seeds that he had saved from his days with his adoptive family and lived off of the large variety of fruit that he grew. He came upon a cherry seed one day, sitting right there, and planted it. He spoke to it, urging it on, and continued doing so to it. To this very day, he has simply lived in the abandoned house, salvaging what he could from the village dump.

Powers: Can use the leaves from any nearby plants as throwing stars(sound familiar?) and use their roots like whips from underground. He can also bring plants back to life, and because of his love of the cherry tree, can harness the energy of one to create an elixir that can be poisonous or remedial, depending on whether it's made from the blossoms/roots(poison) or the bark/branches(potion).

I used a hand and moved my blue hair that fell in front of my face. I stepped towards Zeek who was still going on about the picture and how we knew each other. "I haven't the foggiest memory of you but if you say so." I said to Zeek while looking at the picture with udder confusion. I stared at my necklace which held a blue moon in the center of the oval shaped necklace. "I wonder what this is?" I said to myself while looking at the cresent shape.

I leave my school and walk down to the lake. I pass a group of kids and they start yelling names like water boy. I look away and stare at the ground tears rolling down my cheeks. I see some one sitting on the bank of a lake and walk over and sit down a few meters away from them in case they do not want to talk ( that’s you pika-mew) .i stare athe water and continue crying. "I was not made to stand up to bullies!i just bottle it up inside!" i bury my face in my hands and wipe my cheeks.

Mirror went into his backyard. He took a deep whiff of the quickly cooling autumn air, and let it out with a short, impatient breath. Odd things had been happening to his plants ever since he had picked up that medal, or whatever it was, from off of his poor cherry tree.
"But I don't know if I should," He said to it. "It gives me this feeling that makes me feel closer to you."
Getting up, he broke a twig off of the tree and placed it behind his ear. He jumped the fence and set off on a brisk jog, with no particular destination. Eventually he came to the park, where he flopped down on the cool lakeside grass and watched the children at play there with cold eyes.

"Well, according to Zeek," said Amy, inclining her head toward the boy next to her, "we dropped these necklaces 8,000 years ago." She nodded at the book.

"This contains pictures of us," she said. "There's one of you in there too. If you don't believe me, take a look for yourself." She thrust the book into Devon's hands, its pages open, turned to a mirror image of the person now holding it.

"I...I don't know," Amy admitted. "I'm just as confused as you are."

She looked across the lake again, waiting for this to sink in. It didn't. She couldn't see herself as anyone special or magical. She was just... her. She would not have believed that she was reborn from 8,000 years ago if the proof wasn't right there in Devon's hands.

"This doesn't make any sense," she muttered, more to herself than any of the people arond her.

Mirror said nothing. He simply looked at the picture, yes, that was indeed him. But there were clothes on him he'd never even worn before, and he looked a bit older. And, there was the medallion, right there in the palm of his hand.
"But . . . How can that be?" He mused. "He looked more proud, too, and there were no remnants of plant in his hair. "What exactly is going on here . . ."

i look at the girl and see you walk away to look at a large book. "No body wants to be friends and nobody will want to be. I'm a freak. I love water and for some reason there is always a mist or something to do with water where ever I go" i stand up and take the amulet chain out of my pocket. I put it on and suddenly it gets humid and slightly hot.

"You're not a freak," said Amy gently. "Look, sunlight gets warmer whenever I'm around..." She pointed up at the sun above them. It seemed slightly brighter.

"See," said Amy. "You're not a freak. You just have powers. We all do." She gestured to the rest of the people on the lake bank.

I walked over to a boy,also accompanied by Amy, by the bank of a lake. I looked at him from a side and saw tears. Apparently Amy and the boy had a conversation about him being lonely and a loser? "Don't worry if you have no friends. I'll be one of your friends." I said smiling at the boy. "My name is Toya. What's yours?" I asked him while reaching out a hand.

I chat with amy and some one comes over and asks for my name. "my names raoul." i look at amy. "whats your name?" i walk over to the people with the book and wonder whats going on. "so who has what powers?"

Mirror kind of just raises his hand slowly and waits for someone to address him.
"I don't know if it's true, but I have one of these neclaces, too." He said quietly. "I like gardening, too . . ." He acts akwardly torwards them all with a sort of reluctant nature.

i nod at the boy and walk back to the lake. i take my shirt off and jump int. the water adjusts for me but for any one else it would be freezing. i lay down on my back and look at the girl, amy, and the boy, mirror. "Hey! sunlight girl and gardening boy! why dont you come for a swim? the waters great!" i dive under water and the water pats like a huge bubble that wont rise. startled i push off the lake bed to the surface .

"Zeek?" Amy dived after him. Several minutes passed. Finally, she surfaced, pulling the unconscious Zeek after her with one hand.

She tugged him up onto the beach, shaking him over and over.

"Zeek? Zeek, are you okay?" She put her ear to his chest, listening for a heartbeat.

i watch the boy dive and drown and shake my head. "foolish boy. let me." i swim over and put my hand on his shoulder. i close my eyes and i stream of water comes out of his mouth like a snake. i then collapse slightly as it takes the energy out of me doing things like that. "he should be fine now.just shake him." i swim awy and dive under water. i settle on the bottom and the bubble appears around my head again. i sit on the bottom for a time that far exceeds the normal breathe and watch the fishes swim by.

"Thanks!" she called after the boy, shaking Zeek again. She could feel a pulse, so she was sure he was alright... She lay next to him on the shore, feeling a gentle lakeside breeze tease her long hair.

"You... you almost drowned." With a start, Amy realized that she was still listening to his heartbeat. Blushing, she pulled away and sat up, watching the waves lap at the shore.

i swim accross the lake bed and slowly come up for air. i crawl up to the girl and look at her." excuse me? whats your name? mines raoul." i walk out of the lake and wonder what we should do. " if we have powers what are we supposed to do with them?"

[Amy-chan]

"I'm... Amy," she said, still looking a bit embarrased. "I don't know what we're supposed to do with our powers. Apparently... well, Zeek says we have to save the world, whatever that means." She stood up, deciding to take a walk around the lake to think about this.

IC: As the group started talking about our so called powers, I climbed a tree and stood on a branch. I did a little scout around the area. The sun was setting and the moon popped out a little. I stared at the moon, like I was in a trance, unable to control myself. I started walking off the limb of the tree. Crreeeaaakkkkk!!! The limb was breaking. Still in a trance like state, I kept walking. Crrackkkkkk!!!! The limb broke and fell down but I remained floating in the air. Wings of snow white beauty appear from my back. As I looked at the wings, I said, " W-what is this?" still in the trance mode.

Mirror gawked. "What the heck . . .? Wings? What's happening here?"
He then noticed the broken branch.
"I wonder . . ."
He approached it and put his palm flat down on its broken end, and watched with astonishment as it began to shift down. Small, leafy twigs snaked out of its ends and roots began to form. As he beheld this, Mirror was filled with a zealous, unearthly energy that seemed like no one but him had ever felt before.
"Whoa . . ." He gasped, gaping at the sapling.

"Wake up. WAKE UP. WAKE UP!" a voice said constantly in my head. Trying to regain my senses and my mind, I began shaking my head back and forth. Suddenly I fell to the ground with a plop. I gathered myself and stood up rubbing my hindquarters. "Owww. That hurt." I said without noticing my wings as they began to spread. "H-huh? What in the heck?" I said looking confused as I stared at my snow white colored wings. "W-what am I suppose to be? An angel?" giving a confused look to the others.

"Heheheheh. Thanks for helping out but I'm ok Zeek." I said brushing the dust of my hindquarters. I started flapping my wings uncontrollably. "Ahhhh." A powerful gust of wing blew from my wings. I calmed dow and the wings started to settle. "Ohhh... It probably has to do with my emotions and control. I guess I'll have to concentrate more on these wings." I explained to the group while looking at my wings. As stared at them the thought of flying appeared in my head. I started to concentrate at flying when suddenly, I took off into the air. "Whoa!!! Cool. I'm flying." shouted as I glided around the air and then settled back on the ground. "You guys should try this out." I said to everyone but rethought that statement as I looked around seeing no one with wings. "Hahaha. My mistake. You guys don't have wings. Well just yet..."

"Hahaha. Nice. Impressive." I said to Zeek who was enjoying himself very much. I looked around and saw moonbeams everywhere. "This looks interesting as I approached the nearest beam. I stood in the center of the moonbeam just to be entranced again. "H-h-huh?........ M-m-MOON PRISON!" I shouted loudly. The moonbeams suddenly became solid and enprisoned anyone caught in it, including me who was standing on one. Snapping out of my trance, I tried to walk out the moonbeam just to hit a solid wall. "W-what in the? Where did this wall come from?" I said to myself. A couple of the group were stuck in the beams also. "Ok. Calm down. Let's see. Um.... Stop? Reverse? Dispel?" But nothing happened to the beam. "Argh. Uhhhh..... Desperse?" Clang!!!! The prison broke and became a beam again. "Agh.. Sorry bout that guys." I bowed a few times to the group.

Slowly, Amy turned to look at Zeek. After what she had seen, she couldn't say it wasn't real. But it still seemed strange to her, and there was a lot she had yet to understand.

"A... a journey?" she asked, cocking her head.

"I seriously don't know," Mirror muttered to Amy. "But maybe we should get some sleep first."
He began to shuffle away from the group, towards his house, planning to ditch them. But, he then felt an odd feeling creeping up his spine. He wasn't sure where it came from, but he had a hunch it came from the plant he'd just created. He realized he didn't want to be alone that night, and changed his mind. Turning around, he said,
"Unless someone wants to come along with me. I've got a big house- maybe we can practice with our new 'powers' in the back." He gestured towards the rest of the park with a wide sweep of his arms. "That is, unless someone wants to be foolish enough to be out in public with an 8-foot wingspan," He said smartly to the fluttering Raoul and Zeek.

"Erm, I'll come with," said Amy suddenly. "Uh... I guess." She turned to look at the others. She didn't want to leave them behind. Particularly not Zeek...

"Are you guys coming?" she asked.

Amy smiled. She was privately thankful that Zeek was coming. She didn't know the other boy too well, and she was starting to really enjoy Zeek's company.

"Yeah, we still need to practice our powers," she agreed. "I haven't really found out all of mine yet." She turned to Mirror.

"So, where is your house?" she asked politely, watching the setting sun on the horizon. Somehow, its disappearance made her sad.

"Well, actually, no." Mirror sheepishly muttured, turning Zeek away from the direction he was going. He gestured for the rest of the group to come along. As they walked, the houses got less and less pleasant, until they came to a house that made some of their hearts skip a beat.
"Well, here it is," He said cheerfully.

[Amy-chan]

"Oh... uh, charming," stuttered Amy nervously, attempting a smile. It wasn't very convincing.

"Er.... why don't we go inside?" she asked. The truth was that this neighborhood made her a bit uneasy. She watched a few people in rags on the corner attempt to topple a lamppost, feeling nervous.

[LishaKara]

"Sure thing. Watch your step, though- there's a lot of old junk in here."
However, on the contrary, when the group saw the 'old junk', it was anything but. Broken marble busts, portraits, candelabras, lamps, tables, chairs, clocks, and all sorts of other misscelaneous items that would have normally gone in a rich person's house, not this derelict dump, littered the floor.
After making their way through rooms full of chandeliers, jewelry chests, and even an entire library of books gathering dust on the floor next to their spiderweb-filled shelves, they finally came to a large curtain. With some effort, Mirror heaved it aside, revealing a huge courtyard, which at a glance seemed to be a forest of some sort, it was so thick with vegetation. The walls were made up of tall pines, which obscured nearly everything surrounding the house.

[Amy-chan]

"Wow," gasped Amy. She looked out at the courtyard, awed. The sight of so many plants in one place... Something about it took her breath away.

"Nice place you've got here," she commented, before realizing that this might sound sarcastic or offensive. Blushing scarlet, she stared fixedly at a broken vase on the floor, pretending to be interested.

"Thanks . . ."
Mirror jogged over to one of the large trees and pulled a sofa out from behind it. "The inside's a little dreary," He called out. "It's better out here." Walking over to another tree, he pulled out another sofa and pushed it over to the first, then walked back to Amy.

I hid my wings and began walking towards Mirror's home. Walking up to the unexpectingly large building, I opened it and walked inside. Nobody was there. I walked around and found the three people in the courtyard. "Mirror." I said and bowed to the boy next to Amy. I also bowed to both Amy and Zeek. "Seems like you guys left without me." I sighed. "Now. How about that *powers* practicing." I said. I looked around the courtyard and withdrew the statement. "Nevermind. I guess it can wait, can it?" I asked Mirror.

Amy followed Mirror back into the courtyard, breathing the clean air in deeply. It felt better to be outside. She gazed, transfixed, at the plants all around them, fascinated. They truly were beautiful.

"I'd like to know what my powers are," she said distractedly, still looking at the vegetation.

Joining the group outside, I looked around again looking amazed but not showing it with my facial expressions. "I hate to ask but may I see your pendant, which each of us has?" I asked Amy. "Mine looks like a moon so I probably can infer that I have the power of the moon. Oh and sorry if you were caught in that prison I made accidentally." I said bowing quickly to the group.

Mirror turned to Toya, and answered his statement by pulling out a pendant with a leaf symbol on it.

"Hm. A leaf symbol." I said. I examined it throughly and came to a conclusion. "Figures. You are protective of your plants and you wearing this pendant ties you to plants. You must have the power of the plants. This makes me wonder what abilities you have." I said scratching my chin. "Oh yes. May I also see both of your pendants, zeek and Amy?" I asked them.

i stumble out of the water after day dreaming and look around for every one. seeing them in the distance as a group of specks i start running after them and after 4 minutes of running i collapse on the drie way exausted. after catching my breathe i walk up to the door and ring the door bell.

Mirror opened the door after stepping through the rubble. "Watch your step!" He called, and motioned for Raoul to follow him through the mess.

"thanks. sorry for being late." i follow mirror through his house and look at all the strange stuff he has in his house. "where did you get all this stuff?"

"It's . . . Inherited." He revealed the backyard to Raoul, so as to stop him from asking any more questions.
