Wolfen Tears RETURNS!!!!

Well, here is the lowdown... Long, long ago, in a kingdom known as PC, there was a member named Kagome. Now, this Kagome invented a wonderful RP called "Wolfen Tears".

For a long time, Wolfen Tears was an active, prosperous RP, and everyone was happy. But then, darkness and despair descended upon the land, and slowly, painfully, Wolfen Tears began to die. Its loyal followers struggled to keep it thriving, but the evil power known as the 'one month revival rule' was too strong, and soon, the mods took over, and Wolfen Tears was no more.

But some people have not forgotten Wolfen Tears. And one day, one such person, a girl named pika-mew, decided to take action...

This is a revival of Wolfen Tears, a wolf/wolf hybrid RP, set in the forests of northern Alaska. You can be a wolf, a wolcan(winged wolf) or other wolf hybrid, a wolf hunter, etc.

The world has been beneath the effects of a nuclear winter for many years now, nearly all life ceasing. Those that have survived live in small villages, secluded from the harsh greyness of the outside world. But, one creature has emerged from the depths of the world. A creature that has for thousands of years been just a myth. The wolcan. Now they have become the top predator and the thing that all humans fear. Because the humans believe that these creatures are a threat, they have begun to kill the bird wolves in the hope of ending their reign.

Name: Marina Waters
Age: 18
Race: Wolf/ Human Hybrid
Description: Marina stands at five feet, four inches tall with raven colored shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. Two pointy wolf ears stick out from atop her head, but they are usaully covered by a blue baseball cap because she does not want to look different from 'normal' humans. For the same reason, her fluffy black tail is concealed by a pair of blue jeans. Her upper body is covered by a red T-shirt and orange vest.
Past(optional): Marina's mother was a scientist who conducted research about using the DNA of animals to help cure diseases in humans. Sadly, Marina was born with a very weak heart that did not function properly. The only way that she would be able to survive was to replace her human heart with that of an animal, and the wolf was chosen. The operation was a sucess, but there was a side effect; the DNA from the wolf heart entered Marina's bloodstream and began to fuse with her other organs, changing them.

As time went on, Marina grew up learned of what happened to her. Though she knew having a wolf's heart was the only way she could survive, it still pained her because she had to hide her ears and tail, otherwise she would be laughed at for being a freak. After she was old enough to move out of her parents' house, she decided to live with her grandfather in a small village in northern Alaska, deep in the forest. (When the story begins, Marina will have just moved up there.)

Extra: Marina has no magic powers or anything, but because she is half wolf she can communicate with them, as well as other canines via barking, howling, etc.

EDIT: Oh well, my character doesn't fit into the plot now that it's been added... But I've got an idea! She'll eventually gain the courage to embrace who she is and not hide it, and then become a peacemaker between wolcans and humans... How's that?

Her eyes are colorless, the outside of her irises lined with black. The very tip of her tail is also coated in silver.
Past(optional): She is the wandering Death Wolcan, pushed away from her kind and hunted by both humans and other wolcans. She constantly flies onward, searching for her point of existance. It is rumored that she is like the angel of death and collects the souls of the dead.

Description: Ebony fur covers this youngling, darker than the dethps of the forest's darkest shadows. The tips of her ears are blood red, as well as three of her paws. The tip of her tail is the same evil colour. Silver markings can be found on her shoulders, as well as one large silvery shape on either of her hips. He front right paw is silver. Araminta's wings are not yet fully developed, but they are black and demonic, with silver tips. The young Wolcan is much smaller than most of her speices.

Another thing Pika-Mew and I came up with was that scientists could be trying to capture and study the Wolcans, but, that's only if Kagome allows it.

This story is based mainly around the Death Wolcan Warwolf and the contant hunt for her. She encounters many others on her journey to discover the meaning behind the hatred that she recieves from the others, and together they must find a way to restore the dying planet before it is too late. (( In a nutshell that's it))

Edit: Weeelll, okay, I'll admit, I'm a bit impatient. Since I am overexcited, I will do it. :D Besides, I'm hyper.

IC:
A speckled white wolf sniffed, her nose to the frozen, snow-covered ground. She smelled it. Something alive.

Food.

She was not a hunter by nature, but in these difficult times it was necessary. Padding lightly through the snow, she stealthily walked towards the rabbit's hiding place in the wild bushes on the outskirts of the forest, her paws making no noise as she crept towards her prey.

Gabrielle pounced. Before the rabbit had time to react, she had leapt onto it, sinking her teeth into its neck, feeling the jugular snap in her jaws, feeling the blood flow stop...

The rabbit's carcass hung limp from her mouth. Ignoring the gruesomeness of the scene, she dragged it into the bushes and, unseen by innocent eyes, tore it completely apart. Walking out of the bushes, feeling slightly sick but having a fuller stomach than she had in weeks, she looked down at the nearest human dwelling-place, a mass of confusing lights down in the valley below. Her hunger satisfied, Gabrielle padded towards it...

Seraph laid in the snow, happy at the moment though conditions were trrible. She had been lucky enough to find a young moose calf. She had managed to kill it without attracting it's mother, which was especially lucky. She gnawed on the bones of one of its back legs , whixh had bits of soft red meat still clinging to it. She licked the now bare bone until mos of the blood and meat was gone, then stood up and stretched her wings. She looked up as small snowflakes began to fall. Her right ear swiveled as she sensed a blizzard. She'd need to find cover soon or she'd freeze. She put her wings in the right position and leaapt into the grey cloudy sky.

Marina walked away from the village, carrying a fishing rod and a tackle box. She was sent to get some food for herself and her grandfather. Though she was not particularly fond of fish, it was the best food source avaible at this time of year... at least the best food source that she would allow herself to eat. She found a weak spot in the ice and kicked a hole in it. She prepared her fishing line, dropped it in the hole, and began to think to herself, "Grandpa would get really mad if he caught me doing this.... but no one's around to see... and I'm really uncomfortable... It's not easy keeping my tail stuffed in my pants all the time."

After a few scenes that should not be described, she managed to pull her fluffy black tail out of her pants. As she was not excited, it drooped down to the ground. She then removed her hat, allowing two black wolf ears to pop up from their previously folded down state. And there she sat, waiting for a fish to bite...

Yume trudged sleepily out of her den. Jumping off the cliff that it was imbedded in, Yume landed gracefully on all fours and shook her silverish, gleaming fur. Extra snow that was clinging onto her now fell off her to the icy ground. She looked around at her surroundings. The cliff that her den was embedded in was just one of the many mountains that surrounded her special area- an area where there were tons of moutains and only one spot of clearing- that area was Yume's territory..Looking around, she ran across her territory and jumped up onto on of the mountains. Running up the side, Yume reached the top in a matter of seconds. Looking over her territory once more, Yume was about to turn until she heard something- a weak, but still noticible- wolf cry coming from behind her. Turning around sharply, Yume scanned her area once more until she noticed a small temporary den it looked like, embedded on the opposite side of where her den was, the cliff she was standing on now. 'What?! How could I miss that??" She said while running at top speed down the cliff, and skidding on the ice ground on all fours, her paws shredding up ice. She looked in the den and there aly a small black wolf pup. It had a white star on it's forehead. Yume growled, but stopped short when she heard another weak cry coming from the pup. Walking closer seeing as it wasn't a threat to her, Yume peared over the shoulder of the wolf pup. "Whats worng..?" She asked softly to the pup..

"We are going to be the riches people on earth!! A new speices of wolf--with wings!! How do they fly?!"

Sounds and colours. Too many of them. They confused her, overwhelmed her. She couldn't fight much longer. The snow was sticking to the areas where blood was dripping down her side. She was weakening. She couldn't hold on. Two-Legs would capture her. But then...

A cry came from the unfamiliar mountains. It rang through the air, sounding unreal and lonely. Saphira answered back, but go no responsce. While the Two-Legs were still occupied by the strange howl, Saphira took her chance. She grabbed hold of one mans arm, and jerked, almost ripping it out of the socket.

Saphira had no idea what happened next. There was a gunshot, stinging pain, and a blur of movement. The next thing Saphira knew, she was running full speed toward the mountains.

IC:Gabrielle spotted a silvery wolcan running towards her. She appeared to have been wounded by the humans, and was moving with a slight limp. She was familiar somehow, quite a new sensation.

Who was she? Gabrielle was not sure, but she knew she had seen the wolcan somewhere before, whoever she was. She had a scar on her leg, and her front left paw was white.

Saphira?

Curious, Gabrielle walked towards her, wondering if this could possibly be her long-lost acquaintance, the closest thing she had ever had to a friend.

Hidden in the shadows of the trees, another wolf watched Gabrielle. But this was no ordinary wolf. He had wickedly curving ebony horns and a pitchfork-like tail that swished with every step. His fur was entirely black, and murder shone in his blood-red eyes.

Demon Wolf saw his old nemesis, the wolf that had for so long evaded his clutches.

And smiled.

Demon Wolf grinned devilishly. "She won't escape me this time," he said, sneering, or coming as close as a wolf can. "Gabrielle and her little friends stopped me before, but now, there's no way out." Smiling in that evil way, he bounded toward the two wolf-creatures, both of which were painfully oblivious to what was stalking them...

A shadowed form flew silently through the sky, the stars blending with a pelt that seemed to be made of the heavens. Darkened eyes looked down upon the tortured earth emotionlessly, a soft growl escaping the maw of the winged beast as it banked to the right. She was being followed. Three dark shapes flew in a lazy formation a good distance from the female wolcan. They were other wolcans. And, they were hunting her. Waiting for her to stop to rest so that they could strike. The death wolcan moved higher, raising up into the clouds. The three glanced between each other nervously, before following. Suddenly a streak of silver and black shot through the air, a reddish colored wolcan letting out a howl of pain as one of it's wings was severed. The bleeding creature fell to the ground with a thud, whimpering softly.

One of the others turned to fly down to him but was stopped short when the streak collided with her. She toppled to the ground unconcious, and the death wolcan circled around, her eyes locking on a blue hued male. He was different from the other two, his body laiden with scars from victories. His wings were bat like in appearance.

With a snarl he lunged after her, the female spinning sharply to the right to avoid him narrowly. She let out a growl of her own and bit down on his wing as it sailed past. The male flipped instantly, causing her to loose her grip. He locked with the female in battle, the two battering each other with their wings and fangs. Finally the female had had enough and she lunged in quickly, clamping down on his throat. He fought against her desperately, as she forced them both to plumet towards the earth. At the last second she released him, the male slaming into the ground.

He was alive, but injured badly. With a snort the death wolcan circled once then continued onward. Her name....Warwolf the hunted.

I walk through the snow treading lightly so not to make a noise. I do not like snow, let alone walking through it, as my fur is black and I have no camouflage. Two-legs fear me. I am famous among them as I am pure black and my right eye is black and my left is crimson. After a few minutes of walking through the snow I stop and look about my self. Seeing no threat I lift my head and sniff the breezes. I smell about seven wolves and a few two-legs. I get on my stomach and throw snow on my back with my tail, a skill I have learnt over the years to camouflage my self. I walk for a few hundred metres and see a wolf up ahead. I look closely and see it is a wolf I follow and keep tabs on, Gabrielle, so I know if she is in trouble though if she if I keep out of sight.

Seraph tipped her wings a bit as she cut through the wind. She soared higher, until she was just above the clouds. Even up here there were heavy winds, making it hard to fly. She moved lower again, into the icy clouds. This was enough. It was to dangerous to fly. She folded her wings and let herself dive until she was about a hundred feet from the ground, then spread her wings and glided to the ground. The wind almost flipped her over, but she made it. She landed a bit akwardly, and She looked around the snpwy wasteland, and saw two other wolcans in the distance. She ran toward them, hoping they were friendly. She was freezing and needed help now.

I'd obviously like to play as Jasper, but I am extremely lazy, and my computer is being deathly slow... So I suppose I shall post my sheet in a day or so.

Marina's ears perked up; couldn't believe her eyes as she saw a wolf fly across the sky. She only knew wolcans from myths, but taking into consideration what happened with her, some crazed scientist could have done this as well.

The creature seemed to be descending somewhere not too far off. She was very curious and wanted to check it out. She instantly picked up her fishing rod and chased after the wolcan, not noticing that there was a fish dangling from the rod. It flailed around in the air, hanging from a string by a hook as Marina ran. She wanted to see a wolcan for herself, but she was still unsure as to whether or not it was just a trick.

[Psychotic_Demon]

Saphira collasped, tainting the snow crimson with her blood. She yowled when she tried to move her hip, and ended up causing herself to bleed more. With a grunt, she rolled over on her good side, lying there helplessly. The scientist would come back--she knew it. They'd take her away again, cage her, test her....

Exteneding one angelic wing, she covered herself to keep warm. A light snow began falling from the sky, making her almost invisible. Then...

"Ow!!" Someone stepped on her. Saphira lifted her head, glaring and growling dangerously. Suddenly, she heard the familiar happy bark.

"Gabrielle!!!" She cried, trying to raise, but only managed to make more pain travel through her body. "Oh, Gabrielle, where am I? So much has happened!! I was with Jasper, and then the Two-Legs came, and then they took me away from him... And then... and then...." She could bring herself to speak any more. Saphira didn't even know if Jasper were alive. The young Wolcan let out a mournful howl.

Seraph stopped when she heard something running behind her. She saw a sillohuette of a human..with a stick of some sort. She egan running again, but ti didn't stop, so Seraph turned around. She'd take care of this. She pulled her lips back in a snarl and charged at the creatiure.

OOC: I'm listening to I like to Move it from madagascar so I't was hard to think of something serious :P

Marina stopped in front of a wolcan lying on the ground with another one nearby. This was not the one she had seen earlier, but she was still amazed. Perhaps that was not just a trick of the light. They did exist! She noticed that one was injured, so she set her fishing rod down, and crouched. Her ears drooped, as she was worried about the wolcan's condition, and she didn't believe she would trust her. After all, aside from the ears and tail, she looked pretty much human. "Don't worry," she barked softly. "I promise not to hurt you. I'm only hear to help."

OOC: Gray will indicate Marina using wolf speech, and red will indicate human speech.

OOC: Dunno why I brought Demon back, he was always a lost cause...

IC: "I...I don't know," said Gabrielle, frowning, her brow furrowed. She was thinking furiously, but she couldn't remember anything that had happened previously when she was with Saphira.

"I don't remember anything," she admitted finally, sounding confused and frustrated. She gave a yelp of fright and shock when she saw that the snow around Saphira had turned a deep, blood-red.

"Saphira," you're hurt!" she exclaimed, running to her friend's side. "Come on, I'll help you..." She carefully slipped her muzzle underneath Saphira and nudged, trying desperately to get her to her feet.

And suddenly...

An eerie, bloodcurdling howl. Gabrielle heard it and froze, but did not look up. She knew what she would see.

"Gabrielle," said a sneering voice. "How lovely to see you."

And at last, Gabrielle looked up. A startling gleam of hatred burned in her normally calm eyes as she met Demon Wolf's red ones.

"Die," she growled, and before she could stop herself, she lunged...

Seraph stopped as she saw the figure head toward the other wolcans. She couldn't hear anything over the wind, and decided the human was probably going to hurt them. She'd suffered enough herself because of people, she didn't want these wolcans to face the same fate. Despite the roaring wind, Seraph leapt into the air, and sped toward the human and wolcans. She was just above the human now, and dive bombed it.

[Psychotic_Demon]

Saphira growled at the two new-comers. She was surprised when the Human used wolf tounge, though. Then she realised what the girl was. A Wolf-Human. Once every year a Wolcan would turn into a Human. She understood now, somewhat.

A flurry of snow hit Saphira, blinding her for a moment. "No... No!! Gabrielle, watch out!!" The Demon Wolf was back. Her memory jarred--she remembered only being possessed by this unearthly being once. A shiver ran down her spine.

[Sailor Chibi Lunatone]

"Not all humans are bad!," Marina shrieked, after being knocked to the ground by a Wolcan ramming into her. Of course, she wasn't exactly fully human anymore; she hadn't been for nearly eighteen years. But the last thing she wanted was to fight the wolcans. She considered herself to be both a wolf and a human, and she did not wish to harm either one of her kinds. "I don't know how the other villagers have treated you, but I promise I'm different!"

Seraph skidded in the snow a bit when she landed. "Liar!" She shouted, her lips curling into a snarl. She then realized something. How was this human speaking wolf tongue? She growled as the fur down her spine flattened against her back. "What are you..?" She asked, still nervous. "How do you talk like a wolf? No human is capable of that.." She circled the human for a few moments. Maybe this one was harmless. The young wolcan looked up at the human with slight suspicion, then turned to look at the tree wolves in front of her. One was very strange looking. Something told her it wasn't friendly. She backed away, saying nothing. Her body went cold for a moment when she say the creatures eyes.

Gabrielle paid no attention to the wolcan and the human fighting. It was meaningless, it didn't matter...

Demon Wolf would die.

She leapt at him, snarling. But she just passed through him, as though he were a ghost.

"I am neither alive or dead," he said, smirking, "and therefore cannot live or die." She charged at him anyway, oblivious to what he was saying...

A loud noise jerked her back into her senses. A large white van was rattling towards them.

Humans...

"It's a long story, but I'll tell you a short version," Marina said to the Wolcan. "I was born a human, but I wasn't healthy, and the only way I could survive was if they replaced my heart with that of a wolf's. I survived, but it spread through my blood to the rest of my body and mutated it, including my brain.... modifying it so that it was like a human's as well as a wolf's. I'm part of both clans now."

Marina still didn't believe any of these wolcans would trust her; they must have had several bad experiences with the humans from her village. But she was determined to at least try. She knew that the humans would probably only accept her until they found out that she was part wolf, but perhaps the wolves and the Wolcans were different...

Saphira leapt to her feet ignoring the pain. The only thing she felt now was hate toward the Humans. With a flap of her wings, she landed on the front of the car, tearing into the metal with her claws. The Two-Legs inside, three males, yelled and the driver turned the wheel, causing the van to tip over and slide along the ground.

Saphira jumped off at the last moment, landing lightly now far away. When the white machine stopped moving, she bounded towards it, breaking the glass with a swipe of the paw. It shattered, cutting some of the Humans. They watched her with frightened eyes and scurried out of their van, pulling out guns. Saphira did not sence the danger; she was blinded by her rage.

Seraph jumped up and snarled as the van came toward them. She wanted to leap into the air and flee, but fear paralyzed her. These humans she knew for sure were dangerous. She whimpered and tucked her tail between her legs as the van approached. She stiffly spread her wings, and backed away. She leapt up, but the wind would not let her control where she went. This was not good. The wolcan crouched low, trying to blend in with the snow, though her icy eyes gave her away, as they were wide with fear.

Marina quickly shoved her tail inside her pants and placed her hat over her ears. She darted over to the tipped over van, and looked at the humans inside. And she knew just what she was going to do: the same thing human mothers did to their children. "You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves!," she shouted. "These are innocent creatures! You, on the other hand...... are just evil. Humanity does not have to be so cruel!"

She knew they probably wouldn't care about this speech, but something similar did work with mothers and their children. But she did not have one ounce of sympathy for these humans, as they cared not for the wolves.

Seraph felt a bit silly lying low like this, and despite her fear stood up and strode over to the van. She looked inside one of the broken wind ows and put her head inside, barking madly at the humans, but not biting them, as they might try to kill her. She was amused at the fear on their faces, and she made herself drool and act rabid to scare them more. Outside the van, her tail wagged faster than it had in a long time. She Did noit see the other humans behind her, holding guns. Just in time she pulled her head out of the window and turned around. Both humans had their guns ointed at her. She tucked her tail between her legs. If she tried to hurt one, she'd be shot by the other.

"Do you know what those are, girl?! They're killing machines!! Monsters!!" One man cried, his weapon trained on Saphira. She stood there, glaring at everyone. Her fur bristled, her eyes were alight with terror and anger... Nothing would keep her from killing these men now.

With a fierce snarl, Saphira lunged at one of them, biting his neck, he fell to the ground, dead. His parteners instantly started shooting at the rabid Wolcan, but she dodged the expertly. She twisted through the air, spreading her wings and taking flight.

They would die.

Marina ran from the van to the wolcan who was being assaulted by two men with guns. She knew that they would shoot her if someone didn't act... and the humans certainly could not listen to the wolcans. She was the only one who could help, and that was exactly what she did. She stood in front of the demonic-looking wolcan and screamed, "You shoot her..... you shoot me too! Put down your guns if you do not wish to harm one of your own!"

Her wolfen heart began to race, but she did not let her instincts take her body over. If she howled, then the humans would grow suspiscious....

Saphira dive-bombed the Two-Legs, pulling up a mere three feet from the ground. She tried to grip them with her claws as an eagle would, but the Humans dodged. All she got was a pawful of snow. Anger was coursing through her veins. Saphira spiraled upward again, scanning the area for wherever the Two-Legs might have gone.

Something peirced through her wing, breaking bones and tissue. She fell through the air, landing with a soft thud on the ground. It was a human. Saphira growled and began stalking toward it, her injured wing extended and dragging along the ground, leaving a red trail in its wake. This with her previous injury was almost too much.

Jasper.... Saphira thought, falling on the wing with a sickening crunch.

Saraph saw her chance and dashed off of the van. She Bit the ankle of one of the humans shooting the other wolcan, and he fell. She took the gun from his hand, and took off into the cloudy sky. The blizzard had ended, and it was snowing lightly now.

Now that the other wolcan had been saved, Marina darted to the one that had been injured while attacking a human. She knelt down in front of her, and began whimpering softly, [COLOR=SlateGray]"Humans can be very evil creatures. And not just to wolcans. They have just as much hatred, or perhaps even more hatred for each other as well. Humans spend so much time trying to invent ways to kill each other quickly. I don't know what I can do to heal your wing now.... and I can't ask a human to help you.... Not even my grandfather would help a wolcan... But I promise.... I won't let you die! I'll heal you.... somehow, and bring peace between humans and wolves..."

IC: Seraph looked down as a gunshot echoed in her ears. She watched another wolcan fall, and sped toward her. Those IDIOT humans. She dug her teeth into one of the human's necks before landing, and pulled him to the ground, unconcious. She ran toward the injured wolcan and sat beside her. She did not really know her, but she was worried all the same. She wasn't going to let another of her kind be killed.

Amidst the fighting, Demon Wolf was still intent upon his target. With a low growl, he punced on top of Gabrielle, wrestling her to the ground. A swipe of his claw, and there were three slashmarks across her once-perfect face, oozing blood.

Gabrielle just lay there, panting. She knew she was going to die. And the others were so caught up in their battle with the humans that they'd probably never notice...

"So ends the infamous Gabrielle," said Demon Wolf. He was as out of breath as she, but it did nothing to hide the triumphant note in his voice, and the slight hysteria.

"It is you, not I, who will die tonight," he said, raising his claw to deliver the finishing blow...

"GABRIELLE!!!" Saphira cried, tearing away from the other two. Her long lost friend couldn't die.. She rushed at the Demon Wolf while he was caught off gaurd, ramming against him with her shoulder. Pain seared through her body, but she ignored it. The Demon Wolf was a danger to them all.

Seraph turned around to see the sinister wold attacking a normal one. She lunged for him, and attempted to stop him. "You sick beast!" She barked, and lunged again, this time to bite his neck.

OOC: No, that's not what happened. I'm writing this essay for English about personal demons, and I was using the word 'demonic,' and I mixed a couple things up. I nearly put down 'Don't listen to their angelic voices' and that would have confused my teacher. Thanks for pointing that out and fixing my essay. :nervous: And I kind of feel like I'm being ignored. I can leave if you don't want me here, but I'd rather not if you don't mind.

Marina was unsure of what to do. More wolcans were getting injured with each passing moment, and there was no way she could save them all by herself. And she couldn't get help from the humans, as they would most likely only hurt the wolcans even more. She stayed by Saphira, as she had already started to examine her. This was the one that she would try to save first, because she had already started. "Please hold still and let me feel you... that's the best way I can treat you.... and stop the bleeding...," she said calmly.

Saphira growled slightly, then stayed where she was, letting the Human-Wolf tend to her wounds. Her silver fur and pure white wings were stained with crimson, and there was no way she'd be flying anytime soon. That, and her transformation would take place soon....

Marina looked at the wolcan's wounds. They were more serious than she thought. She was in mortal danger, and there was probably very little that could be done, even with human technology. But of course, that was not an option..... at least for now. "If only I could make you look human.... or at least more like a dog, then the humans would be willing to help you..," she said softly. "But I can't just change your shape... miracles don't happen, not even with me... my state is both a curse and a blessing..."

"I'm.... A Half-Wolcan.... My father was a Wolf, and my mother a Wolcan...." Saphira panted. A cloud moved acrossthe sky, letting the moon shine down upon her. The cresant moon.

Saphira felt nothing as the bright light surrounded her. She grew smaller than she already was, changing. Her wings seemed to fall apart feather by feather, floating away. Nothing was left on her shoulder blades now. She looked like a pure Wolf.

"Ah... the transformation... I nearly forgot about that part of the legend...," Marina commented, watching what happened to the wolcans.
She then repeated it again for Seraph, just in case she could no longer understand wolf speech.

"Ah... the transformation... I nearly forgot about that part of the legend...,"

Now one looked like a woman and the other a regular wolf. "And if I were to put a collar on you, I could pretend that you're part wolf and part dog now.... if you don't mind. The largest difference between dogs and wolves is that humans love dogs.... if I pretend I'm bringing my pet wolf-dog and my friend to the clinic, you could probably get treatment and get out before you return to normal."

Saraph tilted her head as she watched the other wolcan change shape. It was quite beautiful, really. But it was so strange.. She stared in awe as a normal wolf appeared where the wolcan had been. She walked toward the scene, curious. She wagged her tail as the transformation ended. This was odd.. She hadn't heard the wolcan say she was part wolf. "You!" She shouted. "What are you? You aren't a wolcan obviously.." Sher backed away in case the 'wolcan could not be trusted.

[Amy-chan]

"You can trust her," said Gabrielle, growling slightly at the wolcan's reaction. "Just because she's different doesn't mean she's dangerous."

She turned to the other, the wolf-girl.

"The humans are what caused her pain," she said. "How do you know that going to them will help at all?"

She turned and looked back towards the lights glittering from the bottom of the valley...

With a sudden yelp, Gabrielle fell to the snow-covered ground, writhing in pain. Abruptly, she stopped, and struggled to get to her feet.

"People are about to die," she said, hearing the words as though someone else had said them. "A bunch of people..."

The humans were coming towards Demon Wolf, carrying their pathetic nets and tranquilizer guns, attempting to surround him by making a circle. He smirked. That they could think, for one moment, that he could be captured... It was simply hilarious.

His eyes glowed a purplish hue, and the humans froze in their tracks, fear in their eyes. They were pathetic. It was almost a waste to kill them.

Almost.

Eyes still glowing in that unearthly way, he let out a long, low howl. Supersonic waves seemed to ripple from where he stood, knocking the humans in the circle off their feet, killing them instantly.

Satisfied, Demon Wolf turned to leave.

Tseew!

The dart whizzed through the air, piercing the Demon Wolf's shoulder. He growled, running towards the source: the one human that had been far enough away to survive. The dart was but a fly on his skin, but it made him angry...

But before he could reach the human, the weapon worked its magic. With a roar of rage, Demon Wolf fell to the frozen earth, darkness overtaking him, the chemicals in the dart claiming him at last.

ic: i lay in the snow and watch danger unfold, i try to get up bt my legs are cold and have no blood flow. i start moving forward inch by inch hoping to help gabrielle and warwolf. minutes pass that feel like hours and finally i am able to stand up just a a demon wolf falls by the gun of a two-leg. to all the wolves and wolcans i must look slow motion as i leap out up and the snow comes off me to reveal a black wolcan. i leap forward gliding across the snow. i flash past the humans andtear their throats drawing blood. they all collapse. i stop and rush to warwolf and the strange uman wolf mixture. i stop above warwolf." are you ok?"

"A....collar? You're joking, right?" Saphira asked, then grimaced. "Fine...." She muttered, wishing there was any other way rather than being humiliated such as this. A collar....Those Two-Legs companions used those....They had joined sides with them.

Stupid beasts.

"You!" Someone shouted. "What are you? You aren't a wolcan obviously.." The speaker was a Wolcan who had just turned Human.

"Correct. I'm not," Said Saphira solemly, "I'm a mix between Wolf and Wolcans. Great enemies yes, but I'm one in two all the same..." Her voice failed. Jasper had always loved it when she turned into a Wolf. What would he do when he saw what happened to her during the waning cresant? How would he react to her human form?

"Anyways," Saphira continued, her ears lowering against her skull, "Because I'm part Wolf I change into one during the waxing cresant. But, being Wolcan, I also have a human for as you do, which I change into during the waning cresant in a few weeks."

The other Wolcan seemed a bit confused, but Saphira couldn't blame her. She hardly knew anything about herself either.

"I'm sorry if you feel silly wearing it," Marina said, taking a spiked collar-like necklace from her pocket and placing it around Saphira's neck. It was actually intended for use by humans, but it looked just as normal on a dog.... or wolf "For the moment... at least when we're near the humans, I'm going to have to call you 'Fluffy,' alright? "

She then turned to the wolcan who had become human. She would have to think of some way to make her seem like a natural human as well. "For now, you can pretend to be my.... er.... cousin... Jennifer. I'm sorry if either of you feel offended, but it's either this or perish out here."

Saphira looked with wild disgust at the collar. When it was snapped around her neck she had to fight all temptation to gnaw it off, breaking it into little peices... "Fine... Let... Let's just go..." Saphira said quietly, feeling faint. She limped behind the Wolf-Girl, hating the fact that she was getting so close to the place she had just escaped.

I really don't know. A van full of humans just came by, now Saphi is disguising herself as a wolf dog to get into teh human village, and the others are... around. Dunno where Gabrielle is. Apparently, invisible.

Seraph sighed. "Fine." She said. "I'll go by that stupid name if it means staying alive." She slloked at her feet for a moment. They were growing numb in the snow. I need to be warm." she continued, "So I suppose I'll go with you.." she said finally, walking toward the wolf girl and the wolf.

"Well, the men that were just killed have to have had warm clothes.... they might now fit, but they'll have to do if you're cold," Marina commented. She knew the Wolcan would hate getting help from and acting like the one creature she hated most, but it was for her surivival.

"My village is not far from here, but I doubt it's where those men came from, as there is no scientific facility... at least not one that I know of... There's a clinic there, though. They'll bandage you up, and might ask you to spend the night, but we'll have to say no because you could return to normal at any time... and then we'll be in big trouble. As soon as you're all set, we'll go."

[Amy-chan]

"Take... take me with you." With a low growl, the wintry-white form of Gabrielle appeared from out of the snow behind them; apparently, she had been there all the time, unnoticed.

"Take me with you," she repeated.

She knew it would be dangerous to go into a human village, but she didn't care. She had just been reunited with her friend; she wasn't about to be separated from her again. Besides, both of these creatures seemed at least part human, and she wasn't entirely sure they were trustworthy.

"Take me with you," she said again, staring from one to the other.

Seraph looked over at the bodies of the men they had killed. "Ugh, well, as long as they're warm..." She walked to one of them and began pulling his shirt off, then his pants, leaving him in his underwear. She slipped on the blue sweatshirt, which was very big on Seraph, and then his pants, which she had to hold up.

[Sailor Chibi Lunatone]

"I don't know if we can," Marina remarked sadly. "A large party is difficult to manage.... it's too dangerous... Unless you can hide them.... .... you'll have to wait outside the village... I'm sorry.... Unless you're super, super, careful, and try not to get too close to us."

Marina was extremely upset. She wanted to help this wolf too.... she really did, but she didn't want to get in trouble. If she made one mistake with anything, or had bad luck, the humans would probably capture all of them, then find out the truth about them in the morning, when they would revert to their normal forms.

There was a long silence. Finally, Gabrielle spoke.

"Well, okay," she growled, "but if you even lay a paw on Saphira..." She let it hang. Camouflaged by the snow around her, she watched the wolf-human closely, waiting for her next move.

[Sailor Chibi Lunatone]

"I promise not to harm you, or anyone.... I can't harm my own kind....," Marina said calmly while taking a few steps towards her village. She sighed a bit in response to this comment; what she wanted more than anything was for humans, wolves, and Wolcans to be able to coexist in harmony. And she knew that humans were responsible for all of this. The Wolcans were innocent.

Suddenly, her ears perked up as some barking echoed within them... and it did not sound like it came from a wolf or a wolcan. "Dogs!," she shrieked. "They must have our scent... and there's no doubt more humans are behind them! We've got to run! Hopefully we can shake them off our trail." With that, she darted off towards the village, hoping the others would follow her.

[AngelWolfie]

Seraph looked in the drection the girl had. Her eyes widened in terror and she ran after the others. "Whenp ..are those..people..gonna learn?!" She said, breathing hard as she ran. She struggled to hold her pants up, which slowed her down and made running difficult. She managed to stay close, however.

[Amy-chan]

Gabrielle watched the others go. So she was alone again. But what did she expect? She wasn't meant to ever have friends. Ever.

Turning away from the village, she heard the distant howls of dogs.

Hunting dogs.

With a pang of terror, it dawned on her what must be happening. The dogs were tracking the others! Probably her own doing, too. Meeting her even briefly could only be bad luck. Determined to set what she had done right, she streaked toward the group, seeming to be nothing but a blur of moving snow.

Saphira growled turning around. Never before had she run from a fight. She'd take all those dogs down herself if she had to, to help the others escape, especially Gabrielle. Her injuries had gone numb and she could feel neither her back nor her right hip--but that didn't matter. The others were in trouble.

Suddenly, a thought came to her; how was she to find Jasper if she was dead? Cursing in Wolvish, she turned and fled, soon coming alongside Gabrielle, Marina and Seraph. Speed was usually what she depended on, and it was coming in handy.

[Amy-chan]

"Saphira!" cried Gabrielle, running to keep up with her friend.

Before she knew it, a large, powerful-looking greyhound blocked their way, snarling and dribbling saliva from the corner of its mouth in an almost rabid way. Apparently, it had run ahead of the pack with its long, muscular legs.

It snapped at Gabrielle, who dodged gracefully and landed right behind it.

"GO!" she yelled to the others, narrowly evading another attack.

[Psychotic_Demon]

"No, Gabrielle, I--" Something snapped at her, and she had to run. Looking over her shoulder, she glanced back to see her friend fighting the pack. Saphira wanted to go back so badly, but knew she was in no condition to fight. It pained her to see Gabrielle fighting seven dogs on her own.

[AngelWolfie]

Seraph stopped and looked back at the wolf being attacked by a dog. Despite being a bit out of breath, she ran back, and wrapped her arms around the greyhoud's ribs, and flung it away. It immediately stood and ran toward her, but she tackled it and knocked it to the ground. Her insincts told her to bite it's neck, but she knew it would be no good with puny human teeth. She held it down, even as it struggled hard to get free, and, She put her hand into a fist and punched the dog's temple, the most sensitive spot on the head, and it was left semi-concious.

[Amy-chan]

Snarling, Gabrielle lunged at the unconscious dog, biting down hard on its neck. It was dead instantly. But more were coming.

She did not understand why this human was helping her. Certainly it cared nothing for a 'dumb animal'?

"Go," she repeated, circling another dog.

[AngelWolfie]

Seraph struggled to hold her pants up as she grabbed another dog, dropping it on it's head. It yelped before it began bleeding, and died. Seraph continued to fight the dogs alongside the wolf, which was not too difficult in this form. Greyhounds were really quite frail little things..

Gabrielle stared at the human, confused that it hadn't deserted her. A greyhound leapt at her, hoping to catch her off guard, but she moved aside, and it hit the solid frozen ground. Hard. It didn't stir again.

It continued like this for quite a while, Gabrielle alternately dodging and lunging, evading and biting. This was a pretty easy fight, but whenever one dog was killed, another would take its place. She wondered fleetingly how much longer she could keep this up.

Mustn't think like that, she thought, clamping onto another dog's fur.

Seraph took yet another dog down, and htere seemed to be less. She wondered where the human owners were. Another dog lept at her but although it pushed her down, she was able to hold it's jaw closed until she could slam the dog's head into the ice. There was one last dog. This time, it was a burly husky. She ran toward it, and tore at it's fur with her hands. It yipped but fought back hard, and bit Seraph in the hand, leaving a large wound. Seraph growled and bit the husky's ear, causing it to bark loudly. It wasn't as easy to pull this dog down, but she eventually managed to make it lose its balance. She hit the dog in the temple as she had to one of the other dogs, and it fainted. Seraph stood and looked around. She and the wolf seemed to be alone. Now what?

"Good work," said Gabrielle, grinning. "We made a great team." She then started back up the slope leading away from the village. She did not want to cause more trouble than she already had.

[AngelWolfie]

"Thanks." Seraph barked, turning and following the footprints of the others in the snow. "Didn't you want to come?" She asked, turning and looking at the wolf.

IC:Gabrielle turned to the human, giving her a small, sad smile.

"Yes, but I'd rather not come than get you all killed," she said quietly. "Besides, the wolf-human had a point. You have too large a party already. If I came, it would look suspicious." Giving the girl one last sad look, she continued to trudge up the snowy slope.

Marina smiled when she saw that her little party was able to take care of the dogs who would probably expose her, which was why she fled. She realized that the Wolcan who had become human needed a little 'training.'

"Look, I know you look human, but if we want to fool them, you'll have to act human too. Except for babies, humans don't bite, they punch and kick. And you won't be able to speak wolf unless you want to get caught. You can stay silent if you want, but that might not be the best choice. Try moving your mouth differently, and say my name in human speech."

"Ma-ri-na."

Seraph looked at the wolf girl. She tilted her head, looking oddly at her. She Watched how she moved her lips when she spoke human. "Muurr...eee...nuuuh." She said feeling stupid becuase she didn't say the word right. "Merr...eee...naaah..?"

"You're getting better.... Keep practicing. Try this. Here are some simple words: Yes, no, hello, and goodbye."

Yes. No. Hel-lo. Good-bye."

"That should be good enough. Just say those when it feels right.

This was going to take some work. Obviously, the wolcan had never had to truly interact with humans before when in a human form, but now it seemed she would have to in order to survive. This little English lesson taught just the bare essentials, but hopefully it would be all she would have to say to get through the night.

"What do those mean?" Seraph asked in wolf. "Anway, are we going to get going or what?" She asked.

"Well, 'yes' means accepting something," said Gabrielle, appearing beside them as if from nowhere. "And 'no' is said to refuse something. 'Hello' is used to greet, and 'goodbye' is used in parting."

"I lived in a human village for a time," she added, in response to their inquiring looks.

"You did?" Saphira asked, preplexed. Gabrielle had never told her this.... She learned something new about the people she was around everyday. And they learned something new about her as well.

"Yes," said Gabrielle quietly. "And the next day, it was burned to the ground..." She turned away, feeling guilty for forcing her presence upon wolves who were not cursed, who were whole and clean. She closed her eyes, wishing she could just vanish into the snow around her.

"Gabrielle...It's no good to hold things in, trust me. But, if you don't want to tell me what's up, that's fine. I'll be here for you as you were for me. And I swear on Shimmerpaw's grave that I'll find a way to free you of your curse, even if it means dying." Saphira's sapphire eyes watched her snow white friend intently. Then, she turned away, limping toward the village. She would come out in the open when she was ready.

Gabrielle watched Saphira go, her clear blue eyes shiny with silent, unborn tears. After a moment's hesitation, she followed, quickly catching up to her friend.

"Thank you for caring about me," she said quietly, sounding touched.

[Sailor Chibi Lunatone]

"The village is just beyond these trees," Marina said, pointing to lights dotted across a field on the snowy landscape ahead of them. That was their destination, for now, at least.

"Just... please remember the names I gave you.... Alright, Fluffy... Jenna, let's go."

Slowly, the girl took a few steps toward the village, waiting for the others to follow. She knew they would be quite hesitant, as none of them had any trust for humans. But she was patient. She did not want them to feel rushed, or afraid.

"Friendships never last," Gabrielle said quietly to herself, watching the others intently. Soon they would leave her, as everyone in her life had. It was no use. She knew that Saphira had meant well by what she said, but breaking the curse seemed impossible.

Like everything else in her life.

Saphira lifted her nose into the air and sniffed. She could smell them all over... Everywhere they were, polluting and destroying the earth... She walked into the village slowly, ears perking up at the name 'Fluffy'. This would have to be a real and fast as it could be. As soon as the sun rose, she'd be a wolcan again.

Description:Jasper looks basically like a wolf except for the orange and black stripes that cover his entire body.His fur is also very short like a tiger not like a wolf's long flowing hair. The genetics he's been through accidentally gifted him with improved sences. They are much above normal.
Past(Optional):When he was young Jasper was only a normal wolf. But later in his life he was found by scientists wounded. They brought him back to health. After reviving him they decided they'd try a new changing substance they had created. They gave a shot of it and that of tiger. Nothing happened immidiatelly. THey gave up on him as a failed expiriment, and locked him away. But eventually the change began to happen, and he developed tiger traits, as well as super intellegence, and improved sences.

((Ooc)) JAR-HEAD!!! (God, how many times am I gonna say that? I don't know!!) Okay, what's basically happened is all the Wolcans got in a huge fight with the Two-Legs, and Saphira became badly injured. Another Wolcan, Seraph (AngelWolfie), has turned into a human because Wolcan's turn into humans every once and a while. (At least the females do.)

Marina (Sailor Chibi Lunatone), is a Half Wolf-Half Human, and is taking us to a Human settlement to get Saphira healed. Saphira has turned into a Wolf (lucky you), and is wondering how you'll react when you see her human form, if she can find you. Gabrielle is lost within her deep depressing thoughts, hiding and.... doing something.

IC: I walked along a dirt path, one I assumed was made by the humans, I hoped I didn't find any of the two-legs today. I also hoped more than anything that I could find Saphira. I wanted to find her more than anything. I missed her more than she knew. I take that back, she probably did know how much I missed her, and I hoped she felt the same way, bbut one could never be sure. Soon I saw off in the distance, a human settlement. I stopped dead in my tracks. Villages meant humans, and humans meant trouble, but something drew me to this place, a wierd feeling that I was to meet someone here, but I didn't know who.

Saphira sniffed the air. She raised her nose into the wind, catching the scent of--Jasper?! With an excited yelp, she ran in the direction. Everything that pained her before seemed to disappear as she ran on and on, on toward her destination. Millions of thoughts flooded her mind. Was it him? Was it another hallucination? Was she insane?

None of that seemed to matter right now. She let out a joyful howl, leaping high into the air. She was in her Wolf form, but there was no doubt Jasper would know who she was. She could see the striped Halaki in the distance, and with a burst of speed, dashed toward him.

At that moment I saw something streaking towards me. It looked like... Could it be? It was, It was Saphira, I'd recognize her beautiful fur anywhere. I boldted forwards towards her, and stopped when I had reached her. "Saphira" I yelled tackling her playfully, "I missed you." I then realized that she was hurt, and bounded up off her, "I'm sorry..."

"It's fine!!" Saphira said, to happy to notice or care about her wounds. The only thing that mattered right now was Jasper. Her Jasper. He was safe, he was with her again.

"Jasper, what happened, where were you?!" She asked, rubbing her head on his shoulder. When she noticed the crimson colour staining his fur by her, the Wolf instantly drew away. "I... sorry...."

"Where I have been isn't important, I've been off doing something important, but that doesn't matter, all that matters is that I'm here with you now." He then noticed the crimson stain to his fur. "No matter, it's only you, it doesn't bother me in the slightest," I said running my head across hers. "I missed you."

Tears threatened to leak out of her eyes. The nights when she had been kept in a cage surrounded by Two-Legs had been the loneliest. The days when she was kept in a heated room were the coldest. She had never felt so helpless in her life. Saphira smiled, closing her eyes.

"Jasper..." She whispered for no reason, only wanting to hear his name. Suddenly, her eyes flew open. She felt dizzy and light-headed. With a small whimper, Saphira lost all conciousness, having lost too much blood.

I heard her whisper my name, and then she fainted. "NO!" I screamed, and nudged her with my paw. "Saphira?" I yelled. "NO!" I growled.I then flipped her onto my back, and began walking towards the man-village. I had to get her there, she needed help. I walked a ways, and then my front legs collapsed.

The light surrounded Saphira. Her eyes fluttered open, as the wounds she had recieved began to heal. She felt herself changing, growing larger. Suddenly, she realised she was cold. Extremely cold. No!! The Wolcan thought desparately, having no idea how Jasper would react to her Human form. She had only been like this twice.

She backed away from him, growing more human-like by the second. All of her injuries had disappeared. And it was over.

Saphira was kneeling in the snow, her arms wrapped around her, facing away from Jasper. Her skin was pale and smoothe, not covered by fur. Long, wavy silver hair pooled about her, some strands being picked up in the breeze. Saphira had taken on the shape of a girl of about 15. She kept her back turned away from Jasper, her sapphire eyes shut tight.

No... He's going to hate me... He's going to leave me out here...

I watched as the entire process and was speachless. I back away slowly, not knowing how to react. "Saphira?" I asked stepping one step forward, "What has happened to you? Why are you... Two-Legged...??"

"I don't know, okay?!" Saphira said, curling into a small ball. He hates me.... "I just found out about it." He hates me.... "I don't know what it means or what it is." He hates me....

Saphira didn't want Jasper to see her like this. She couldn't bear being around him as she was. A Human... She was what she hated most. "Jasper.... I can understand if you hate me, just... Kill me if you do." She opened her icy eyes, tears falling from her lashes and rolling down her cheeks. Having found Jasper after all this time, and then having to reveal to him what she was...

"Saphira... How dare u accuse me of being so judgemental?" I said, truely offended. The thought of Saphira being human did appaul me, but killing her, hating her, or even loving her any less than I did seemed crazy. "I still love you saphira..." I said stepping towards her again.

"I... I...." Saphira buried her head in her arms. She hadn't meant to mean something like that. "I don't know what to do... Or what this is..." She lifted her head, her melanchololy gaze meeting with Jasper's. "And so do I."

"Has this ever happened before Saphi?" I asked her, now walking over to lay next to her. "Don't be afraid of what oyu are... A great Wolf once told me that, and I now believe it. If you are human for a while, do not let it scare you, make the best of it." That great wolf I spoke of was my father, but that knowledge would not have benefited her right now, and my father, and my past was not something even my love needed to know about right now.
